   Cosmas pov
I looked over at her she was quiet while walking. She would glance over every now and then and continue back to staring back out at the sun that was barely visible. My guns clacked together on my belt. The noise was clearly annoying to the Schulza so I turned my belt around, she immediately reached for her weapon "It's okay." She looked at me suspiciously. I chuckled at her. She grunted "So why are you looking for the relic." I said she looked at me with a smirk "To pay bills." I laughed at her comment "But really, did something about the relic catch your eye?" We came to a fork in the trail and both pulled out our tracking device and went left. She sighed "I like adventures and solving things. The scenery is nice as well. Traveling with a acquaintance is quite enjoyable too." I smiled at her, my teeth showing. She must have caught that because she stared with wide eyes for a second and soon smiled back.
       Nepeta's pov
He is very enjoyable. He doesn't talk too much, knows how to hold a conversation, and is quite handsome. I smirked at him. My lips are going to get small if I keep on smiling like this. My tail swayed behind me and patted the floor a few times.
     We soon came to a wall and my necklace glowed for us to head up "Wow jumped down for nothing." I said and sighed "We should make camp here." I nodded in response and started undoing my backpack. "This is a lot to ask, but do you mind helping." I said taking out some clips and pulling out the tent. He didn't say anything, I lofted my head to see he was staring at me leaned against the wall. He blinked surprised "Yeah, sure." I smiled at his pink tipped ears.
                When we were finished with our tents I told him goodnight and crawled in my dark blue and black tent. I grabbed my backpack and pulled out a plush black pillow that was in the front compartment and slipped on my bed clothes(A baggy white t-shirt). Sleep tonight wasn't it's usual battle, I only had to listen to pretty thoughts like twice before I was tangled in my comforter completely dozed. The sounds outside were really relaxing too.
    I woke up and checked my phone it was 5:41. I stretched and popped my back. I stuck my head out of my tent to see if Cosmas was awake or not. He was, I saw a light illuminating from his phone showing his fluffy messed up hair.
I slipped on my clothes, something more relaxing than the usual. I put on my yoga pants and a black crop top t-shirt with an Arctic Monkeys sign on it. I brought along my Flannel jacket too because it was kind of cold out right now. I love it because it has this soft fur on the inside that holds a lot of heat, even in the hooded part. I snuggled my face in it taking in the detergent smell from home.

Slipped on my tennis shoes and put everything in my huge backpack that would shrink down to accommodating size.
I was soon greeted by Cosmas who also chose to wear something more suitable for what we were about to do. He had on a tight black t-shirt and grey sweatpants his shirt tucked in.

He smiled at me showing his white teeth "Good morning" he beamed. I had to keep my giggle at bay, geez he keeps on making me smile "Morning" I gave him a warm smile. "I'll be right back." He came back out with a black hoodie over his shoulder

He slipped it on and got his stuff together while I was looking to see what was a good way to climb this. "Oh, I got it." I turned around to see he made a portal with his aura. I mentally slapped my self when I realized I could do that too. His aura was a pretty silver, black, and white, had a bit of a neptune color too it as well.He took my hand and stepped in the portal with me. I smiled because I know he didn't have to hold my hand. We appeared on top of the cliff and started out journey again. It smelled dewy and sweet up here, their were exotic plants and flowers everywhere and tall grass.
        We were walking a lot and holding very good conversations. It was very nice. The sun was shining through the trees and strong yet soft breezes would come through every now and then. While we were walking I noticed my right hand was getting really warm I looked at it in confusion and realized I was holding hands with Cosmas. I slipped my hand away from his gently and pulled out my necklace as a way of not saying 'ew I don't wanna hold your hand' but more of a 'didn't even realize'
He must have realized something because he looked down at his hand confused and just shrugged it off.
My tolerance for people being too close is very low. But I don't shove it there face. I looked down at the floor noticing the ground had changed from supple soil to hard rock. We must be getting close, because I began to feel a strong energy signature coming from the left. I stopped in the middle of the trail, and looked down my eyebrows were furrowed. I felt something pulling at me, telling me to go that way "What's wrong?" I looked at him and back to the left "We," I paused pointing in the direction of the energy "We should go that way." He looked confused for a moment and he lifted one eyebrow "Why?" his voice was strong and showed concern. Reminds me of Equius "You don't feel that." I said, the signature sending waves that were really strong now. He noticed and his head snapped that way "Run," he said "Why, the relic is strong that's probably i-" he cut me off as another wave hit twice as strong "RUN NOW!" I took off with him running at full speed. I could see a black figure in the distance noe it was huge like and fast. My eyes widened and I ran faster grabbing Cosmas by the arm and jumping really high in the air "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!!!" I grabbed my tron stick Zora made specially for me that could fit two, and turned it on and it turned into a motorcycle.

Before we knew it the, thing was out of sight. I reached in my bag and gave him my helmet. And crouched over to hold the handles. I swerved out of the way of a few rocks smoothly.
When I thought we were at a good distance from the thing I came to slow stop "You good." I said in a breathy laugh "Yeah, i'm fine. Thanks." I smiled "Thank you." I said hopping off and he did too "For what?" I grabbed the handle of the motorcycle, flipped the red switch, and watch as it turned back into stick and caught it mid air. "Because, if you didn't tell me to run. I would have ran into the unknown like an idiot." His face lit up in realization and he he smiled "Don't mention it. Honestly, I don't even think I would have noticed it until the last second if you didn't tell me, thank you." I felt one of toothy grins coming and turned around "Your welcome." I said sticking the stick back in my bag. Even though I don't like being around other living organisms anymore, I could get use to him being around."
