I start to Untack Dreamer and I see Victoria walking up to me. She looks furious and is very flustered. She reaches me and grabs my shoulder, forcing me to look at her. She grits her teeth and tightens her grip on my shoulders, so much it hurts.

"You really have to watch yourself." She growls.

"From you?" I say. "I'm not worried."

"I caused that bite, I can do much worse." She grumbled.

"You didn't cause it, you just let my horse loose." I say rolling my eyes.

She scoffs. "I will get you back for today. You better watch your back."

"So your telling me today wasn't your revenge?" I say crossing my arms.

Her grip on my arms tighten. "Not even close." She smirks. "I have something much better planned."

She spins on her heel and starts to walk of. "Like your plans have ever worked!" I shout at her.

When she hears this, she hunches her shoulders, but keeps walking. I smirk to myself, glad I made her frustrated.

Just then I hear foot steps behind me, and I turn around. Lucas is walking up to me and I smile to him.

"Hey!" He says reaching me.

"Hey!" I say smiling back.

He stands beside me an we starts walking off. He looks at me with his brown eyes, and for a second I see what Cameron is talking about.

"So how was your lesson?" He asks me.

"It was okay, just a little nonsense from Victoria." I say rolling my eyes.

"Oh is that the girl who was yelling at you?" He asks.

"Yeah, were enemies. She hates me and my friends." I say.

"Oh, that kinda sucks." He says. "What did she do?"

"She cut me off so I got to close to her horse." I shrug. "Same same. She deserved it though."

"Oh why?" He asks, curiously.

"She was mean to me when I first showed up, we just hated each other ever since." I explain. "Plus, she's mean to everyone."

"Really? She doesn't look like the kind of girl." He says and I look at him confused.

"What?" I say surprised raising my hands in the air. "She always picking on people!"

Lucas raises his hands in defeat. "Okay sorry!" He says.

I take a deep breath to calm myself. I will not lash out.

"That's fine." I say as we keep walking. "I just think it's a little insane for you to think that."

"Yeah from your perspective I guess you could see that." He says.

"Yeah." I agree. "So is there any reason you came to talk to me or you just wanted to."

"Oh yeah that's right!" He says remembering. "I was going to ask about that guy you were talking to the last week ." He says, and I almost hear a tinge of jealousy in his tone.

I fight the urge to ask him about it and instead just roll my eyes. "Oh that's Just Cameron. I stole his horse the second day I got here." I say, letting out a quiet laugh at the memory.

He doesn't laugh.

"Is he your boyfriend?" He asks almost sheepishly.

"Oh no we're just friends." I say, and keep the disappointment out of my voice.

I've literally liked Cameron for almost the whole time I've been here,  i just don't really show it. I don't know if he likes me back, but I feel like he is sometimes flirting with me. It's strange. I don't even know what I would do if he liked me back. I wouldn't want it to cause me to be unfocused at my lessons. That kinda scares me. What if I stop doing well and then-

"Oh!" Lucas's voice breaks me from my thoughts. He sounds kind of excited. "That's strange he likes protective of you."

"He just might've been worried about me meeting someone knew." I state. "If you were anything like Victoria you would've been dead meat." I joke.

This time I get a laugh out of Lucas.

"So he's just an overprotective friends?" He asks for confirmation.

"Pretty much." I reply.

"Oh, cool." He says a little plainly.

Just then I hear foot steps behind me. I turn around and see Cameron walking towards me. He has his eyes on Lucas, correction, he's glaring at Lucas. He looks a little angry but the moment he sees me his face lights up into a smile. I smile back. He reaches us and pulls me into a hug.

That's a little strange.

He has only ever hugged Me once before, and that's after I got bitten. So it makes sense, but right now?

He holds it a little longer then he should, and then when he pulls back he grabs my shoulders.

"Hey Cal." He smiles.

"Hey Cam." I say. I grater to Lucas with my hand. "I don't think you to have formerly met. Cam this is Lucas and Lucas this is Cameron."

"Hey." Cameron says blankly.

"Hi." Lucas says with the same tone.

I fight the urge to roll my eyes. "What do you need Cam?" I say nicely.

"Oh I just wanted to talk to you." He says and for a second he flashes a look at Lucas and then turns back to me.

"Okay I uh have to go."Lucas says a little dryly.

He walks away and Cam turns back to me."what do you want to talk about?" I say.

I feel Cameron's hands still on my shoulder, and I'm almost glad he hasn't taken them off yet.

What am I talking about of course I glad.

I feel a butterfly nest explode in my stomach and it's strange. It's like I'm liking Cameron more as the days go by, which is probably true.

"Oh I was just wondering if you wanted to go on a hack in like an hour or so." He says.

Oh. Right. Abby and Scarlett told me Cameron was probably going to hang out with me. Due to the fact that they got to go on a double date with Will and Alex. I wish it could have been a triple date, even though it wasn't a real date.

"Oh yeah for sure." I say. "Just come and get me when your ready."

"Are you ready now?" He asks me.

"Well I am, but Dreamer just did a lesson." I reply.

Cameron smacks his head and I let out a giggle.

"Right, that makes a lot of sense." He says.

I giggle again, and Cameron chuckles with me. Then I realize that he took his hands off my shoulders. Disappointing.

"Your okay riding Dreamer now right?" Cameron asks.

"Yeah of course." I smile. "I'm a beginner now."

"Oh that's great!" He says pulling me into another hug.

Yes! He better keep his hands on my shoulders after he lets go.

Ugh when did I get this way?  What has Cameron done to me? Better question why am I thinking like this?

He pulls away, but doesn't leave his hands on my shoulders. Very disappointing. I mentally smack my head.

"Thanks." I say. "I'm excited to, other then Victoria's stuck in my lesson now."

Cameron drops his excitement. "Oh."

"Yeah it's fine, I'm up for a challenge." I say and Cameron chuckles.

"That good then." He says. "When do you think Dreamer will be ready?"

"In like a couple of hours." I say. "I'll just be in my dorm, so just knock on my door."

He smiles and I smile back. "Sounds great."

"I'll see you later." I say, trying to keep the utter excitement out of my voice. Don't want to squeal like my little sister over the fact that Cameron "asked me out" again.

Cameron tucks a loose strand of hair from my braid behind my ear, before starting to walk off.

He turns back and waves, a grin on his face.
