I walk into my dorm squealing. "Guys I'm a beginner now!" I shout excitedly.

"Oh my gosh that's amazing!" Scarlett says excitedly.

"Yes finally!" Abby says excitedly too.

"Now I can ride with you guys!" I say.

Then Abby and Scarlett turn to each other dropping there excitement.

"What guys?" I ask.

"We're actually juniors now." Abby says shyly.

"Oh." I say at lost for words. "That's exciting! You guys totally deserve it, you were with a bunch of amateurs." I say being excited for them.

"Your really okay with it?" Scarlett asks concerned.

"I mean, yeah, you guys are my friends and just because your doing better then me doesn't mean that I shouldn't be happy for you." I say.

Abby and Scarlett pull me into a hug. I hug them back.

"Phew." Scarlett says.

"Also just one more thing." Abby says. "Turns out Victoria has dropped down into beginners."

"Oh god no." I say. "Ughhhhhhhh!" I groan.

I belly flop onto my bed and stuff my face in my pillow.

"Nooooo!" I groan. "I wish I was still a learner."

Scarlett sat down on the bed next to me. "Oh you'll be fine, just give her a couple of nasty comments for us."

I roll on my bed and face the ceiling. "Oh trust me, I will." I say. "Definitely more then a couple though."

Abby snickers and walk up to me. "I have a delivery for Calli star."

I sit up and look at her. "Letters? Who could they be fro-" I smack my head. "Right, my mom and sister."

Abby hands them to me and then Scarlett stands up. "We have to go."

"What? Where?" I ask suspiciously.

"Alex and Will wanted us to come on a walk with them." Abby says.

I smirk at them. "Double date!" I squeal.

"Now way." Scarlett says. "We don't know if they like us."

"They definitely do." I smile, but then furrow my eyes brows. "What about Cameron?"

"Oh I think he wanted to do something alone with you tomorrow." Abby says, wiggling her eye brows.

I roll my eyes at her. "Have fun guys."

"Sure will!" Scarlett says as they walk out the door.

I smile and pick up one of the letters. This ones from mom. I open the letter and start to read it.

Dear Calli,

I can't believe you had to do private lesson, but I'm glad Dreamer listens to you now. I'm a little surprised that it didn't take you a very long time, but I'm glad he's co-operating.

I'm glad you've made some friends, but please tell me about this enemy of yours.

We're doing fine here, Evelyns been sad without you, but she's recovering by spending time with her friends. So far your dad hasn't emailed me back about how he feels about you going to this camp, but you guess that's how being divorced works.

One last thing:

WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU GOT BITTEN BY A WOLF AND YOUR OKAY! I can't believe you tried to fend of some wolves! How did Dreamer even escape? Please mail back soon.

I smile as I read my moms letter, but it drops at the mention on my dad. He left us two years ago taking away basically all out money. We were so poor, but I'm glad he left. He was kind of a jerk.

I smile again when my mom start yelling at me over mail. Oh and yes, I know we could email each other, but my mom likes this better.

I open up the second letter who I assume is from Evelyn.

Dear Calli,

I MISS YOU SO MUCH! ♥️♥️♥️

I hope your having a fun time becoming an Olympian. You're literally going to be one of the best. No sorry the best!

Also HOW DID YOU MOT DIE FROM A WOLF BITE!

Oh and I almost forgot, have you met any guys? Please send all of the details.

I hope it will be thanksgiving so so we can see you!

My smile goes even wider as I read through Evelyns letter. I love her so much. I love both of them. There literally the best family anyone could ever have. I quickly grab two pieces of paper and start writing back to them.

Dear mom,

This enemy of mine is not great. She's always pestering me, and even purposely released Dreamer once. I hate her, and so does Abby and Scarlett.

I'm so glad Evelyn is doing okay without me, that makes me feel a little better. I'm missing you guys.

Also like I said, the wolf bite is fine, and I'm okay, I'm all healed now actually, there's just a scar. How Dreamer go out though...remember how I told you Victoria released Dreamer once? Yeah that was the time I got bitten by the wolf.

What happened is Dreamer was pinned against a jump so I just poked the wolves with a stick until they got far enough away. Then I tried to hop on and one bit me. I rode back, and I'm fine.

I hum happily as I fold up the paper and put it in the envelope. I pick up the pen and paper and start writing to Evelyn.

Dear little sis,

I ALSO MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!

I can't wait to see you guys.

How I didn't die from the wolf bite...I got help fast enough, and the blood wasn't coming out to fast.

As for the guys...I have met one.

His names Cameron, and he's a really good rider. I actually ended up temporarily stealing his horse once...

I'm not sure if he likes me, but I think he does. We sometimes ride bare back together, and it's kind of romantic.

There's a couple details, I'll give you more next time.

I fold up her latter to and put it in the envelope. I stand up and start to head of to Sherri's office.

When I get ther, Sherri's not at her desk, so I just place the letters on her desk. Along with a sticky note saying: "please mail these, from Calli."

I walk out the door and stare into the distance, admiring the paddocks and pasture. I watch as people go through there lesson, and other people tack up. I smile to myself.

I'm so glad I'm here.
