Chapter 3- So You're My New Sensei
I do not own Naruto only my OC's
........................................................
Waking up before my alarm clock, I stretched my body. Groaning I relaxed again and looked over to my alarm clock. In bold red letters, it read 6:45. Rubbing my eyes, I rolled out of my bed and placed my bare feet on the ground. Blinking tiredly, I walked to my bathroom, where my mediation sat waiting for me.
Cupping some water in my hand, I drank from my hand and swallowed the pill. With the water still on I grabbed my tooth brush and applied the tooth paste on it.
Today we were being assigned our teams. I still had no idea who was going to be on my team, or who my sensei was going to be. I just hoped that I would at least be put on the same team as Naruto, or even Hinata.
Hinata was the only other female in my class, if not the school, that didn't obsess over Sasuke. That was one of the first reasons I had decided I liked her. The second reason being that she didn't disrespect Naruto. She was also incredibly shy, so much that in front of certain people she tends to turn red and sometimes faint. At least, she's only gone to that extent in front of Naruto. She was a easy person to get along with, and I enjoyed the fact that we didn't fight over people or stupid things.
Finishing my daily routine of getting ready, I stopped as I looked down at my headband. My mother had worn two headbands, one from Konoha, and another one from another village. She never really told me why or where she obtained the other headband. Now I had a headband of my own, and I was going to make another name for the Okami clan.
Placing the headband on my forehead, I tied it around my head. My blonde bangs hung over parts of the headband, but the Konoha symbol was still visible. Smiling at my reflection, I ran out of the bathroom.
Slipping on my shoes, I opened the door and ran towards the academy. If I didn't make it there too soon, I would likely be late. And with my bad tendency to be late lately, I don't think Iruka would be happy with me.
.....................................................
Panting slightly, I slid open the door to the classroom. Looking around, I let out a sigh of relief as I noticed Iruka was missing. Looking up I went to greet Naruto, but completely froze at the sight in front of me.
In the middle of all of Sasuke's followers, stood, or rather sat Naruto and Sasuke. I didn't know how they even got into that position, but somehow they were locking lips. However, due to the shocked look on their faces, I guessed it wasn't intentional.
That didn't mean I was going to let Naruto live this down. "Naruto-kun!" I cried in shock, ignoring how they had jumped apart now. "Not you too! I never thought you were a secrete Sasuke follower!"
Naruto had fallen off the desk and was clenching his neck, his tongue was sticking out of his mouth. "My lips! They've been poisoned!"
I laughed, walking fully into the room. "Well, I don't know what you did to get Sasuke to kiss you, but you should really tell your secrete to all these girls."
My teasing stopped when I noticed the murderous intent coming from the females. My eyes narrowed as Sakura and Ino seemed to be at the front of the swarm of females.
"Naruto! You stole Sasuke's first kiss." Sakura growled, cracking her knuckles.
With narrowed eyes, I quickly ran to Naruto. I made it in front of him just before they could attack.
"Back off." I growled.
Ino and Sakura had taken the lead, and now they were glaring at me. It wasn't a secrete that we didn't get along. Strangely enough when things turned to Ino, Sakura, and I fighting it normally steered away the other females that would have been fighting about Sasuke. It seemed now was just like very other.
As I glared at Ino and Sakura, the other females slowly started to drop back. "Move aside, Yuki." Sakura glared.
"Nope." I crossed my arms. "Naruto's suffered enough. He's already had to kiss Sasuke, he doesn't need any more punishment, especially from you two."
They seemed more upset by that. However, before they could say anything, Iruka walked in the classroom.
Seeing Ino, Sakura, and I having one of our many arguments, he sighed. "Ino, Sakura, Yuki, please take a seat."
After another glare at each other we split off. Sakura took advantage of the female's distraction and slid beside Sasuke. That prompted Naruto to slid beside Sakura. Looking at Sakura for a moment Naruto sighed then saw me and tried to make more room for me to sit down.
Grinning, I plopped myself next to Naruto. It was a little cramped, but honestly most of the seats were already filled up anyway. So, it was better if I was cramped next to my best friend rather than some other classmate.
Iruka proceeded in giving his speech of how proud he was of each of us. I reckon he gave the same speech every year to each class. I'm sure the only thing everyone was really paying attention to was what team we were on.
Ino had chosen to sit behind my row, which was followed by her and Sakura bickering. Something about who was going to be on who's team.
"Next, team seven. Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno,-" Iruka was interupted by Naruto standing up an cheering. That followed by Sakua slamming her head on the desk in misery. "Sasuke Uchiha," Once again Iruka was cut off by Naruto and Sakura, them seeming to switch places in their state of mind.
I chewed on the inside of my cheek. While I wanted to be on the same team as Naruto, I don't think it would be a very functional group with Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke.
"And lastly, since we have an off number of students this year. Team seven was chosen to be the team with the extra member. Yuki Okami." Iruka said.
Naruto grinned at me, but then seemed to glare and stand up pointing at Sasuke. "Hey! Why do I have to be in the same team as Sasuke! Dattebayo!"
Iruka sighed, seeming annoyed by Naruto's outburst. "Naruto, out of all the genin here, Sasuke had the best scores. Naruto, you had the worst."
Seeming dejected he slouched down in his seat. Sasuke smirked and looked at Naruto, "Don't hold me back, dobe."
Naruto growled, clenching his fist in anger. I sighed, there was no way we would be a functional team. Sakura and I clashed all the time, and Naruto and Sasuke clashed just as much.
....................................................................
Once we were dismissed for lunch, I had invited Nauto to go out for ramen. Strange enough, he declined. I assumed he had some prank in mind, so I left him be. Since I was going to be alone for lunch, I figured I would visit the K.I.A stone. On my way I made a quick stop to pick up some sushi.
The walk there wasn't far, and I made it within about ten minutes. Placing my bento box on the ground, I crossed my legs and looked at the stone. Looking over my clan's name's, I stopped at my parents. For one reason or another, whoever was massacred didn't get buried in the Okami cemetery. However, their names were instead added to this stone. In a way, it was my last connection to them.
"Hey mom, dad." I greeted, staring at their names. "So as of yesterday I graduated from the academy, so I'm officially a ninja now. Oh, and I was placed on the same team as Naruto-kun. I'll be meeting my sensei later today."
Looking down at my bento box, I continued talking. "I'm glad I took your advise. I really don't think I would have been able to survive without Naruto by my side." My voice grew quiet as I didn't wish to speak much more.
Sighing, I opened my box and snapped my chop sticks. "Itadakimasu." I muttered before I started eating.

~Third person~
..........................................................................
"He's late." The short Uzumaki complained, the equally short Okami beside him nodded in agreement. The room that the newly formed team was waiting in was now empty. They had been waiting for a few hours now, and all of the other genin had already been picked up by their jounin teachers.
The prankster of the group stood up with a large grin on his face. Picking up one of the chalk board erasers, he dragged a chair over to the sliding door. He quickly gained the attention from his pink haired team mate.
"Naruto, what are you going?!" The pink haired girl shouted. It seemed just being in the room with him was enough to irritate her. At her sudden shouting at Naruto, the Okami narrowed her eyes and glared at the pink haired girl.
"This is what he get's for being late!" Naruto grinned, laughing as he hopped off of the chair. "Surprise!"
"You know you shouldn't do that." Sakura, the pink haired female, scolded. She didn't bother to look over at the glare she knew she was receiving from the other female in the team.
"Our teacher is a jounin, I doubt he will fall for a trick as lame as that." Finally, the Uchiha spoke. Though it was dull and not as loud as Naruto. He didn't move from his position at his desk. His elbows placed on the desk and his hands clasped together in front of his face.
"Yeah Naruto! Sasuke-kun is right! Our sensei will never fall for a trick like that." Sakura's voice was quite loud, almost rivaling Naruto's. She held a certain smile on her face, it was enough to annoy the Okami who had been quite for quite a while.
Taking her glare off of Sakura, Yuki took the time to roll her eyes. "Way to repeat what Sasuke says." She mumbled to herself, then in an effort to help out her friend. "Well I believe our sensei will do nothing about it, and it will work! Wanna make a bet?" She grinned, ignoring Sakura as her eyes fixed on the Uchiha.
Feeling her gaze on him, he looked behind him to stare at her. Her emerald Okami eyes were filled with determination. Smirking slightly, he muttered, "Fine, if I win.-" The determined Okami cut him off.
"Here's the thing. You're not going to win. So I'll just tell you my conditions. When I win, you have to be my servant all day, for any day I choose." She grinned.
His eye twitched. "Hn, fine. And if I win, you have to keep the fan club away for a whole day."
She grinned, "So, even if I lose I get an excuse to beat all those girls who constantly annoy me and insult Naruto-kun. Sounds like a win win to me. Deal."
Yuki turned to see a confused Naruto and angry Sakura. Before Sakura could yell at her the four genin saw a hand appear on the door. Everyone waited in anticipation, Yuki and Sasuke paying close attention. Finally, the door slid open and their teacher poked his head in. At the same time, the eraser dropped and fell on his head then onto the floor. Naruto broke out in loud laughter, pointing at the jounin. Yuki grinned and looked over at Sasuke in victory.
Placing her attention on the person who walked in, she quickly recognized the man. "Kakashi?" She muttered.
Naruto, who was still laughing, pointed at Kakashi. "I totally got you!"
Sakura quickly stood up and bowed to their teacher. A look of horror on her face. "I'm so sorry, sensei! I told him not to do it, but he just didn't listen! And Yuki kept encouraging him!"
Instantly, Yuki wrinkled her nose at her pink haired team mate. 'I didn't exactly encourage him. She's such a kiss up.' She thought.
Kakashi stroked his chin in thought. "Hmm, my first impression of you three is.... your a bunch of morons." He seemed to smile, it was hard for Yuki to tell with the mask on. Team seven, apart from Yuki, sweatdropped.
Sakura, always the one to notice the obvious, blinked. "Wait, you said three, but there are four of us."
Kakashi nodded "Yes, but I have met Yuki before this, so this is not my first impression. Now meet me up on the roof." Forming a hand sign, he disappeared into a poof of smoke.
Yuki sighed, "He wasted chakra trying to seem cool. Honestly, he could have just walked a few feet." She stood up and walked over to Naruto, who stood by the door waiting on her. "Maybe he's not trying to be cool, but he's just too lazy."
Naruto looked over at her, raising an eyebrow at what she was mumbling. "What?" He asked.
Shaking her head, Yuki dismissed what she just said and grinned over at Sasuke. "Looks like for a whole day you're going to be my servant. I'll get back to you on what day that will be." Looping her arm around Naruto's she grinned. "Come on, Naruto-kun!"
..............................................
The four genin sat on a set of stairs, staring at their new teacher who was leaning against the railing of the roof. Yuki sat on the top stair, next to Naruto, who was a stair bellow her. Beside Naruto sat Sakura, who was sneaking glances at Sasuke, who was beside her.
Kakashi took a moment to stare at each of the students. Two of which their parents had trained him when he was younger. He smirked, it seemed that his teacher's children have a similar relationship as they did.
Finally, he cleared his throat. "Okay, introduce yourselves. State your name, your likes, dislikes, hobbies, and dreams for the future."
"Can you give us an example? Maybe by introducing yourself, sensei?" Sakura asked, looking away from the Uchiha to look at Kakashi.
Yuki smirked, looking at her sensei. Looking him over, she quickly noticed the way he slouched against the railing. He didn't seem like one to put much effort into things. It was likely that he was lazy, and he wasn't going to give them much information.
Kakashi looked at Sakura. "Me?" He sighed softly, "Okay. I'm Kakashi Hatake. My likes and dislikes... I don't feel like telling you. My hobbies..." He paused for a moment. "And my dream for the future, I never really thought about it." He finished with his one visible eye closed.
Yuki's eye was twitching, as well as her Uzumaki friend. "All he did was tell us his name." Sakura sighed in annoyance.
Opening his eye he looked over his students, pausing at the Uzumaki. Pointing at him he said, "You, the one in orange, you go first."
Immediately, the blonde grinned and gripped his headband. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki, dattebayo! I like ramen, especially miso ramen! Oh and ramen you pour in a cup! Even more so the ramen that Iruka sensei and Yuki-chan buy me! I don't like the three minutes you have to wait for ramen to cook. And my hobbies are eating and comparing different types of ramen, dattebayo!" His grin grew bigger. "And my dream for the future is to surpass the Hokage's!"
Kakashi smirked. He wasn't exactly impressed with the first half of Naruto's introduction, especially since it appeared that all the boy cared about was ramen. However, he did have a big dream to live up to, hopefully that left room for improvement in him. "Okay, next." He pointed to the pink haired girl.
She smiled, "My name is Sakura Haruno. I like-I mean the person I like it-" She stopped to look at Sasuke, a blush forming on her face. "My hobbies are... And my dream is.." She trailed off, her face covered in a blush as she hugged herself squealing.
Kakashi sighed, "And your dislikes?"
Without hesitation she glared towards the two people on her left. "Naruto and Yuki!"
Naruto's eyes widened before he shouted out a complaint. Yuki crossed her arms over her chest, "The feeling's mutual, cotton candy head."
Kakashi wasn't impressed at all. It seemed that all girls her age really cared for was boys. Looking over at Yuki, he hoped that wouldn't be the same situation. However, considering who her mother was, that wasn't likely the case. "Okay, you next." He pointed over to Yuki.
Yuki grinned. "I'm Yuki Okami. I like sushi, making bets, and training with Naruto-kun. What I dislike are fangirling girls who insult others, arrogant people, and people who underestimate you. My hobbies include improving jutsu's, and on occasions helping Naruto-kun prank people. My dream is to become a powerful kunoichi." There seemed to be a slight hesitant look on her face before she fixed her grin.
Kakashi stared at her for a moment. She didn't seem to be obsessing over a boy, unlike most of the females in her class. She also had a clear goal ahead of her. Looking over to the last person, "Okay, lastly you."
Sasuke didn't move from his position. His hands were held together in front of his face as he spoke. "My name is Sasuke Uchiha. I don't particularly like anything. I have many dislikes, and i don't have any hobbies. What I have isn't a dream, more of a ambition. I will restore my clan, and kill a certain someone."
Yuki blinked, quickly looking at Naruto who seemed to be freaking out. Then looking back at Sasuke she muttered, "Well, if you really want to restore your clan, maybe you should stop ignoring all of those fangirls you attract..." She muttered.
Both Sakura and Naruto lost in their own thoughts didn't seem to hear Yuki's comment. Sasuke sent a glare over towards her, obviously annoyed with her. Kakashi smirked, it appeared she had more of her mother in her than just her looks.
"Good, your all different in your own way." Kakashi smiled. However, his light and cheerful mood darkened. He wanted to scare the genin, if only a little. "Tomorrow we will meet at the training grounds at six o'clock."
Curious, Sakura asked, "What will we be doing?"
"Just a little survival exercise so I can evaluate your skills." Kakashi replied, already knowing Sakura was going to say something else.
"But we already did survival exercises in the academy! Why will this one be so different?" Sakura asked, her voice raising in volume.
"Those were different. This one will test your skills as a ninja. As well as something else." He smirked.
"What?" Finally, Yuki asked.
That was when he started laughing. Seeming creeped out Yuki raised a eyebrow and leaned towards Naruto. "I don't really think he's all there, Naruto-kun."
Her friend nodded in agreement before shouting. "Hey! Why are you laughing?!"
"Oh it's nothing really. But... you're not gonna like it." He replied.
"What?" Sakura pushed.
"Out of all the genin that passed the graduation exam, only ten will actually become ninja's. SO another words, tomorrow's survival test determines if you continue on as a ninja, or you get sent back to the academy." He answered dully. Kakashi had done this so many times, it was practically a script written in front of him. However, with three particular students, he almost hoped this team wouldn't end up being sent back like all the others.
"W-What?!" Naruto and Sakura shouted.
It seemed even the Uchiha was slightly shaken by this information. His head was no longer resting on this crossed hands, but rather looking up at his teacher and glaring. The only one who didn't seem to be freaking out was the small Okami. Instead she had a look of determination plastered in her eyes. A look that Kakashi liked.
Standing up, he rested a foot on the railing. "Oh, and one last piece of advice. Don't eat anything tomorrow, or you might puke." With a two finger wave, he jumped off the building leaving his freaking out students.
"Don't eat breakfast?!" Naruto shouted, his hands pulling at his hair. "What's that suppose to mean?"
Yuki sighed, standing up from her spot. "Hey, Naruto-kun, are you hungry? I'll treat you to some ramen."
Completely forgetting the problem he was just having, the Uzumaki grinned. "Okay! Let's go, Yuki-chan, dattebayo!"
He stood up quickly and looped his arm through her's then dragged her towards the railing of the roof. At the same time, both bent their legs and jumped down from the building. Landing on the ground, they took a quick second to adjust before Naruto started dragging Yuki towards the ramen shop.
