I am very disappointed in myself, it had been two week's and all I can summon up is a one-year-old wolf. It's not much different from a newborn, these one-year-old's don't have any ninja skills. I'm using up all this chakra, and it feels like my results haven't changed.

Naruto was having the same complications as me. He could do as much as summoning a tadpole that had feet. That was slight improvement.

"I am starting to think you two have no ninja abilities." Jiraiya said shaking his head as Naruto and I grew irritated.

"Well Pervy sage, why don't you give us some tips on how it's done!" Naruto shouted.

Jirayia looked thoughtful for a moment, then as if a light bulb went off he said grinning. "I can give you two some tips, but it may cost you your life's. Are you willing to risk it?"

I grinned as did Naruto, "Of course!"

"Okay, but first follow me." We both walked with Jiraiya, only to end up at the hot spring.

"Hey you're not doing any of your research are you?" I asked narrowing my eyes.

"No, no, before we can do the little trick, you're going to have to purify yourself. So I thought that there is no better place than a hot spring." Jiraiya explained.

"Okay, well see you two in a hour!" I yelled walking towards the female hot spring. "Oh, and Naruto I trust you to stop Pervy sage from peeping." I giggled as I saw Naruto salute to me then narrow his eye's of Jirayia. The pervert only sighed, and started walking towards the men's side.

I walked out of the hot spring feeling refreshed, seeing Naruto and Jirayia I waved and ran over to them. I looked around having a strange feeling of being watched.

"So what's your favorite place to eat?" Jirayia interrupted my thoughts.

"Ichiraku ramen!" Naruto quickly shouted.

Jiraiya looked towards me. I shrugged, "Same."

"All right, let's go get some then!" Jirayia smiled.

As soon as we resumed walking I resumed my thoughts, well whoever was watching me seem's to be gone now. I don't have the strange feeling anymore, although as we neared the ramen bar I noticed Jiraiya was acting a little strange.

After we ordered I peeked a glance at Jirayia, he still had the smile on his face. "Eat up!" He yelled then I could almost hear something along the lines of, " if may be your last meal."

I almost choked on the ramen in my mouth. Quickly I swallowed before turning completely to him, "What was that?" I asked narrowing my eye's.

His eye's widened slightly before he smiled, "Nothing, what are you talking about Yuki, eat up."

I narrowed my eye's a little more before I returned to my ramen. Talking another bite I forgot about Jiraiya as I ate up enjoying every last bite. Of course, sushi would have been better than ramen.

Naruto had ordered ten bowls of ramen, while I only had one. When it was time to pay, I noticed Jiraiya had skipped out on us. I sighed, I guess I was going to have to pay, again. I doubt Naruto had enough money to pay for all this, he had expected a certain perv to pay.

"Don't worry Naruto-kun! I'll pay!" I forced a happy smile, when all I wanted to do was cry for all the money of mine.

"Oh thank you Yuki-chan!" He got up and walked out, waiting for me outside as he searched for Jiraiya.

I looked down at my money in my hand depressed, then I sighed and handed it over. Getting up I joined Naruto, that was when we both saw Jiraiya.

"Hey! You were supposed to pay for our food!" Naruto shouted as he pointed his finger at him. I nodded in agreement.

"I never said I would pay for your food!" Jirayia shouted back, I felt my eye twitch. 'That stupid old pervert' I thought.

"Say Naruto, is there a girl you love?" Jirayia asked grabbing Naruto and I by the shoulders.

I could almost see Naruto glance at me slightly before shaking his head. "Well if by a girl you mean Sakura, then I guess yeah." He stumbled slightly for the words.

"Good, now I want you to go find her and give her a big hug. You can do that right?"

Naruto's cheeks tented red as he nodded. I blinked,  my head tilting. Did he have a fever?

Just as Naruto ran off Jirayia looked down at me. "Do you have a boy you love Yuki?"

I put a finger to my mouth thinking about it. If I did love any boy the closest I could get would be Naruto. How could I not? We're best friends. However, I have a feeling Jiraiya didn't mean in the way of friends.

Finally I shook my head. "Nope, not that I'm aware of." Jirayia sweat dropped.

"Um, are you sure?" He asked narrowing his eye's at me.

Once I nodded he sighed but said, "Let's go get Naruto."

As Jirayia walked away I took two crimson pills. It was about time for my medication, and I had a feeling we would be using a bit of chakra soon. Catching up I walked beside Jirayia searching for Naruto and Sakura.

Although as soon as I heard a crash and a groan I knew where they were. I walked up to Naruto, who was sprawled out on the floor as a angry Sakura walked away.

"Now look at what you did Pervy sage! Sakura could have done worse to him too!" I tried to keep a straight face as I looked over at my blonde friend holding his head in pain.

"You okay Naruto-kun?" I helped Naruto to his feet.

"Y-yeah Yuki-chan, but Sakura-chan sure does hit hard." He rubbed his head some more.

I smiled then turned to Jiraiya, only to be punched in my stomach. My eye's widened as I heard Jirayia mumbled "I'm sorry." Before darkness consumed me.

I woke up to being dropped on the floor Naruto beside me.

"All right stand up you two. Are you ready to risk your life?" He asked us, his smile from before completely gone.

I narrowed my eye's, my body stiffened as I prepared to attack. We should learn not to be so trusting. Here we thought he was going to train us, and now he's knocked us out and plans on doing god knows what.

Without warning Jirayia pushed Naruto and I. We began to fall, catching a side was useless since it was slippery. The side's were also covered in spikes.

My eye's widened as fear took over, what do I do!

Then I heard Naruto shout, "Summoning Jutsu!" I looked up to see a giant toad.

Seeing the giant toad snapped me out of my fear. Along with that, it also helped me realize what I needed to do. I bit my thumb then made quick handsigns.

"Summoning jutsu!" Smoke filled the air as I stopped falling. Instead of free falling, I now latex on something furry. I looked under my to see a giant wolf, as big as Naruto's toad if not bigger!

"What the-?" He growled.

Pain erupted from my chest, and blood filled my mouth. I gripped my chest in pain, my other hand gripping the wolfs head. I guess those two pills weren't enough to stop an attack. Perhaps summoning this big of a wolf used up too much chakra.

"I'm sorry to summon you Mr. Wolf, but could you please b-bring me out of this?" I panted as I tried to keep myself from coughing.

"Who are you?" He growled angry.

"I-I'm Yuki Okami." I mumbled, taking two more pills to help hold down my illness. Luckily after a few moments, the pain dulled and left.

"Okami? By any chance are you related to Mai Okami?" I smiled sadly as I heard my mother's name.

"Yeah, she's my mother."

"Well where is she? Why did she summon me?" He asked looking around in the hole that seemed much smaller with the wolf.

"I summoned you. Do you mind possibly getting us out of here, please?" I asked only to hear him sigh.

"Fine, but I want to talk to Mai. There is no way you, a little child can summon me. Also why has she not summoned any of us in five years?" He jumped out of the deep trench into the sunlight.

Once we were on the grass he sat down, and lowered his head so I could get down. I still did not see Naruto anywhere, I guess he was talking to his summoning.

"Okay now I repeat my question, where is Mai? Also why has she summoned me?" The giant silver growled annoyed.

I looked down at the grass sadly. "Well for one Mai, my mother, is dead and she has been for five year's. Secondly I summoned you, a man named Jirayia had been holding your summoning scroll. So now I'm your summoner." I finished proudly.

He narrowed his eye's at me. "I don't believe you, sure you may be Mai's kid, that part I can be sure of too since you look so much like her. Although I still don't think a kid like you could summon me."

I grinded my teeth annoyed. It was then that the big toad Naruto had summoned jumped out, Naruto hanging on for his life.

The toad landed beside my wolf, they looked at each other. "Great job Naruto-kun!" I yelled slightly panting as I was tired.

He grinned down at me, "You too Yuki-chan! Although Chef toad still seems to not believe I summoned him!" He sounded slightly annoyed at the end.

"I'm having the same problem, though I don't have his name. ." I looked over to the wolf.

"Hey what's your name?" I yelled to him.

"I don't have one, but you can call me Alpha."I nodded, but it seemed like the two pills were not enough as I fell to my knees coughing. The pain erupted in my chest was worse than earlier. What's going on? Why isn't the medication working?

"Yuki-chan!" Naruto shouted.

Alpha looked down at me strangely before he looked at Chef toad and Naruto.

"I'll handle her, you two do what you need to do. Go easy on the kid!" Alpha yelled at Chef toad as the giant toad tried to knock Naruto off.

Alpha knelt down to me. "Seeing as I don't sense Mai's chakra anywhere, I have no choice to believe you. Now why are you coughing up blood little pup?"

I struggled for my pills, quickly popping two more I swallowed them. "It's just a illness, I guess summoning you took more chakra than I thought, I'm tired." I flopped down on the grass only making the large wolf chuckle.

"You defiantly are Mai's daughter.' I heard another voice say as I fell asleep.
