Okay so this is a VERY controversial topic in this community. Especially amongst those under the age of 12 who I've seen take everything at face value. (That's not me ridiculing those in that age group, that's normally the oldest age I see that happening at. I have seen them older doing this, but I'm speaking commonly)

Wings physically cannot be retracted. They would be over 30 feet long to be functional. Also, if you look at a cat's claws, they don't just disappear into the skin. There is a pocket within their skin that the claws go into.

Now, I can hear someone out there saying, "so then we just make pockets in our backs for our wings." NO NO NO NO NO.

I'M SO SORRY, but do you NOT know about the human anatomy? We aren't just lumps of skin, like a cat toe. There are important muscles in our back. Oh, also there's a spine there. Did I mention that the wings will be 30 feet long? There's no physical way that can work, kids. And, if you haven't already, read what I said about magic in "Food Issues #1" because MAN people misunderstand magic way too often. Fantasy magic and real magic are different.

Also, me am big brain because I don't remember the name of the first length of wing. Anywho, that thing is kinda long. Probably hard to fold the wing at such an angle too... I would use illustrations, but I'll do that later. Am lazy.
