Benedict and Martin stood outside the BBC and stared up at the rather professional looking building. Benedict reached down and grabbed Martin's hand.

"What are we doing here Ben?" Martin asked as Benedict started to laugh, "Seriously what?"

"What do you think?" Benedict replied whilst smirking and dragging him inside.

They made their way up to the studio where they were greeted by a man. He explained how it was going to work and what was going to happen.

They were led to a rounded sofa and told to sit down. Martin put his hands in his lap to stop his hands from shaking. Benedict realised how nervous his boyfriend was and reached over to hold his hand.

Suddenly, their romantic moment was ruined by a count down. Then, the cameras began to role.

"I'm here now with Sherlock stars: Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. Benedict called us earlier and said that he and Martin had something they wanted to tell us. This is very unprofessional of me but tell us, what did you want to say?"

Benedict began to shake. He didn't realise that he would suddenly become so nervous.

"Umm... Well... We..." Benedict stuttered. Martin looked over at him sympathetically. His heart was beating uncomfortably fast beneath his chest but he knew what he had to do.

"What Ben's trying to say is," Martin took a deep breath, "we are going out. We are together. We are quite, quite in love."

Benedict looked over at him and realised that he had no idea what he was on about. He was clearly nervous.

"What Martin's trying to say is," Benedict interrupted the same way Martin did before, "we both decided to tell everyone all at once. We've been keeping it a secret from everyone for years. We felt like now was the right time."

"So the rumours were right?" The interviewer asked.

"Yes." The men said in unison.

The interview continued for a while. They suddenly felt a bit more relaxed. Everyone knew now. They felt like a weight had just been lifted off their shoulders.

Who knew what would happen next.
