We flew in tense silence from there. I assumed it finally dawned on us the amount of unknown danger we might be flying into. We flew some more, and my thighs were beginning to cramp seriously when I smelled it.

"Do you smell that?" Sebastian asked, sniffing the air.

"Oh I smell it alright, something is different." I answered him.

"Is it safe?" Bella asked. And Sebastian now at the lead, stopped his horse.

"I have never perceived anything like this." He replied.

"We can't stop, we are sitting ducks up here, easy target." Levi said, his voice lacking emotions as usual.

With that we resumed flying, although more cautious now. Sebastian ahead of us, eyes alert, he was extremely worried that much i knew. Ian's Stallion flew up next to mine.

"Are you worried?" He asked. I was startled, this was the first time he had talked politely to me all week.

"What is it to you?" I asked right back, and he chuckled.

"Careful, you are talking to your future king". He replied, and I rolled my eyes, he was still in there after all.

"I was beginning to think we left the real you behind your highness, but here you are!" I said in mock delight.

"You think me a prat, don't you?" He asked, eyes alight in amusement.

"I can't say. I quite value my neck your highness." I teased.

"I wanted to tell you that I do doubt I could ever harm you, no matter what you do." He told me, voice serious. I swallowed waiting for the joke, but none came. He was serious, and my heart started jumping and leaping everywhere, it was quite painful to be honest.

"Are you seriously speechless right now? who would have thought all it took to make you silent was to bare my heart." He laughed.

Watching him laugh in the moonlight, it struck my heart not for the first time, how perfectly handsome he was.

His blonde hair had fallen out of its perfect state, and I had a sudden urge to lean forward and push them back from his emerald Green eyes which were now staring at me knowingly, as his perfect lips tilted in amusement.

"Do I even want to know what you are thinking about?" He asked me leaning forward, and I thankfully snapped out of it.

"Of course your highness. For a moment there I was shocked at the realization that you might actually possess a heart in that perfect chest of yours, turned out I was wrong." I said.
"Perfect huh, I order you to tell me just how perfect you think my chest is." Ian said, eyes dancing in amusement.

"Fret not, I promise to tell you all about it, should we get out of this alive." I replied, the worry I felt slipping into my voice.

"Whatever happens, I made sure Fury has your scent, and Rose as well, when danger comes he knows what to do." He assured me.

"But Fury can only transport two people at most." I told him in surprise.

"Yes, I believe I know that already." He replied. And as I looked at him to ascertain he had not lost his mind, my own trembled in realization.

"Was that why you forced my hand under fury's snout?" I Asked him, already knowing the answer.

"Exactly, see? you ARE smart." He laughed. At the sound, my heart missed a beat, and I flushed all the way to my hairline.

"I can't see a thing." Rose complained, breaking the little bubble Ian put me in. I suddenly realized how right she was, the air and skies was thick with impenetrable fog, and it was growing by the minute.

"What the hell is this?" Finnegan asked, and I realized I could not see him, I would not even see my own nose should I look down for it.

"We need to land, we can't fly blind." Levi declared.

"I do not like that, if our destination is indeed the mountain as I suspect it is, then walking there could take a week, but only twenty four hours on air." Sebastian said, looking uneasy.

But he also knew landing was the best option, for right now we were on an unknown territory.

We all flew downwards after that, surprisingly the air down there was not foggy at all. But something had weakened the horses, we had to go on foot from there onwards.

As you can imagine, the journey was indeed going to be quite difficult. Especially for us would be debutantes and a princess. Most of whom had never walked a mile in their entire lives.
