At the secured wing of Dr. Crane's medical facility, Falcone is seen with his body tied up to a inside his cell. He keeps shaking his head mildly while saying one word that describes the last thing he saw at Blackgate Prison.

Falcone: Scarecrow...Scarecrow...Scarecrow.

Outside of his cell, Glynda is seen observing him carefully. Dr. Crane is seen making a turn and notices her.

Crane: Miss Goodwitch, this is most irregular. I have nothing to add to the report I filed with the judge. 

Glynda: I have some questions of your report, Doctor.

Crane: Which is?

Glynda: Doesn't it seem convenient for a 52-year-old man that is clean with no history of mental illness...to suddenly have a psychotic breakdown just when he's about to be indicted?

Crane: Well, as you can see for yourself, there is nothng convenient about his symptoms. 

She looks back inside to see Falcone still in his current state.

Falcone: Scarecrow.

Glynda: What is this "Scarecrow" he keeps mumbling about?

Crane: Patients suffering delusional episodes often focus their paranoia...on a external tormentor...usually one conforming to Jungian archetypes. In this case, they witness...a scarecrow. 

Glynda: Is he drugged?

Crane: Psychopharmacology is my primary field, Miss Goodwitch. 

Batman is see peeking through the window and listening to their conversation.

Crane: I'm a strong advocate. Outside, he was a giant. In here, only the mind can grant you power.

Glynda: You seem to enjoy the reversal.

Crane: I deeply respect the mind's power over the body. It's why I do what I do. 

Glynda: I do what I do to keep grunts like Falcone behind bars, not in therapy.

She begins to leave as Crane follows suit.

Glynda: I want my own psychiatric consultant to have full access on Falcone...including blood work. Find out what exactly you put him on.

Crane: First thing tomorrow, then. 

Glynda: Tonight.  I've already paged Dr. Lehmann at County General. 

Crane: *clears throat* As you wish. 

They both get into the elevator and Crane turns a small key into a slot as the door closes.

(Scene Change)

They go to a different floor as they go out of the elevator.

Crane: This way, please.

Glynda then follows Crane. 

Crane: There's something I think you should see. 

Crane leads through a door as they both look down to see inmates working.

Crane: This is where we make the medicine. 

When she sees one of the inmates dumbing a tank of the medicine into an exposed pipe that leads into the water supply. She starts to panic. 

Crane: Perhaps you should have some, clear your head.

She then runs out of the room and goes to the elevator. As the door closes, she takes out her Scroll and calls Ozpin.

Ozpin: Glynda, what is it? 

Glynda: Ozpin, we're wrong! Crane is not who we think he is, and I believe he's pl-

As the door opens, she gets hit by the fear toxin. She looks to see Scarecrow as she screams and gets attacked.

(Scene Change)

Outside in the medicine room, Glynda is being dragged by two of Crane's men as they placed her on one of the tables and the rest of the workers were leaving. Scarecrow walks up to her and started to interrogate her.

Scarecrow: Who knows you're here?

Her eyes were closed and starts shaking her head

Scarecrow: Who knows?!

She sees maggots coming out of his mask as he screams, frightened by the mere sight of it. Suddenly, the main lights on the ground level were turned off as the men notices it as they arm their weapons and Scarecrow took of his mask. Crane then looks around and knows who is here.

Crane: He's here?

Crane Thug 1: Who?

Crane: The Batman.

Crane Thug 1: What do we do?

Crane: What anyone does...when a prowler comes around. Call the police.

Crane Thug 1: You want the cops here?

Crane: At this point, they can't stop us. But the Batman has a talent for disruption. Force him outside, the police will take him down. Go.

Crane Thug 1: But what about her? 

Glynda starts to have lack of breathing. 

Crane: She hasn't got long. I gave her a concentrated dose. The mind can only take so much. Now go.  

Crane Thug 1 then goes to his position.

Crane Thug 2: Hey. The things they say about him. Can he really fly?

Crane Thug 3: I heard he can disappear. 

Crane: Well, we'll find out.

Crane Thug 2: Won't we?

(Fight Start)

Crane's men go to their positions but get startled by the sound of glass breaking. They fear levels start rising as they look around and pointing their guns while their ears only hear the sounds of footsteps on the upper levels. They can't find anything as they rest of the room was very dark. 

Batman: (4 thugs...and Crane.)

That is when...Crane Thug 3 hears Batman descending behind him as he tries to turn and shoot but Batman catches him a quick Uppercut to the jaw over his gun arm and holds it. Crane Thug 2 notices him and goes for the kill but Batman uses Crane Thug 3's gun and shoots him in the foot. Crane Thug 2 exclaims in pain as Batman knocks out Crane Thug 3 with an Elbow Strike to the cheek. Batman then rushes Crane Thug 2 to the chest on his shoulder.

Crane Thug 2: *screams*

Batman then ascends into the darkness as Crane Thug 2 screams while firing his SMG. Batman goes behind one as Crane Thug 3 gets knocked out by a Double Axe Handle Uppercut and descends down a small case of stairs. Batman gets behind Crane Thug 4 and takes care of him with multiple Elbows to the lower part of his face. Crane Thug 5 grabs Batman from behind but the Batman gets out of the hold with an Elbow Strike to the gut and a Backfist to the face. Scarecrow appears behind a staircase and goes to gas Batman but Batman notices it as he grabs Scarecrow's wrist and disarms him with a strike to his arm. Batman takes off the mask and pulls Crane by the hair. 

Batman: Taste of your own medicine, doctor? 

(Fight End)

Batman uses one of Crane's viles from his belt and infects him with a spray from his hidden sprayer. Batman then grabs Crane by his face by still pulling him by his hair with his left hand and grabs him by the chin with his right hand and questions him.

Batman: What have you been doing here?

Crane then starts having a face of fear. He's not seeing Batman, but a demon version of Batman.

Demon Batman: Who are you working for?

Crane is still frightened in silence but gives an answer.

Crane: Ra's --Ra's al Ghul.

Demon Batman: If Ra's al Ghul is here in Vale, where is he? CRANE!

Crane's face is still scared with his mouth on agape but speaks.

Crane: Dr. Crane isn't here right now. But if you'd like to make an appointment... 

Batman then hears that the police is already here. He knocks out Crane by smashing his head on the concrete wall near the stairs and goes to Glynda and looks at her condition. 

Batman: (She doesn't have long.)
