Final Boss - Part 2
Meanwhile, in the game, Steph still couldn't move. She was still trapped as the new player character.
Matt picked up the controller and pressed play. He moved forward slightly.
Inside the game, Steph spontaneously oved her leg. Someone was controlling her. MATT was controlling her. She knew it.
The prince was holding his sword in a battle stance. "You'll pay for that!" He said.
"I don't want to fight you." Steph said. "But apparently, Matt does."
He lowered his weapon in confusion. Matt took the chance to attack. Steph shot once, twice at the prince, who was knocked back with a stun.
The prince quickly jumped back up, lunging at Steph and slashing her arm. She yelped out in pain.
"Oh no, no, no." Matt said to himself, he quickly had Steph run behind a pillar to heal herself. She did exactly as he played. Her health was restored to 100%.
"Alright. We can do this, Matt." She said. She turned from behind the pillar and took another shot at the prince. This one missed, allowing him to perform a speedy attack that drained a lot of health. He was about to attack a second time, but this time, Steph dodged and rolled back, shooting another beam of light towards him. Direct hit.
Matt was watching his health bar inside the game. It was only a quarter of the way down. He decided to go the Kingdom Hearts method of gameplay; Spam X.
Steph ran up to the prince and unleashed a number of basic attacks, giving an intense combo attack that brought the health bar down to half.
Now enraged, the prince tried the same thing, brining Steph's health bar down to half itself. She fell to the ground, stunned, when he tried to stab her again. She rolled out of the way just in time, allowing the prince's sword to get stuck in the ground. While he was trying to remove it, Steph took two more shots. One more quarter left.
He finally removed his sword and attacked again, but this time it didn't even manage to hit her. He lunged one more time, but Matt pressed a quick-time event command and Steph stopped him, the glow emanating from her hands again.
"Game over!" She shouted. The light engulfed the room, and when it was gone, so was the prince. Steph fell to the ground, sitting on her knees. She was panting and wheezing. "Thank you, Matt." She said, breathily.
"Don't thank me yet." He said. "Jason, Chris. Have you two finished?"
"All done. I've got it all loaded on this usb." Chris said, holding it up. "What do we do?"
"First, we get Steph out." Matt said.
A cut scene started to play as a white crown of pure light hovered above the throne. Steph started to walk towards it, an action that neither she or Matt was controlling. Her movements controlled by the game, she picked it up and placed it on her own head.
A white light covered the screen as Steph faded into the background. Matt leaned forward, curious to see what was going on. It's not like anyone knew what the plot of the game was, but it was confusing, anyway.
And then the T.V exploded.
