Boy Questions...?

Shut up and go back through the fourth wall *pushes*
Rose: awwwwww but my OTP-
In all serious, something weird is going on with some of the boys in my PE class
For the past two classes, a couple of them have stopped playing the game they always have to play volleyball with me.
I used to play volleyball in a group where our of the two boys played as well, but the group randomly disbanded and now I play alone because volleyball is the only game available that I know how to play and the other volleyball group REALLY sucks.
Last class before today's, this one boy that's also in my LA class asked to join me. I said sure, and in part of the small talk we had he mentioned my lexile reading score and complimented me on it.
1. How and why did he even KNOW my lexile score?! He sits up front close to the teacher, but still how did he know mine specifically?! I will admit my lexile is impressively high (1570) but like, I haven't told anyone. How did he know?!?!
2. Is it normal for a guy to say "that's incredible!"? Because that's his exact words. I mean this boy is incredibly nice and funny and I gotta give credit where credit is due and say that he's also pretty cute but like, we're classmates. That's less than acquaintances. We barely know each other so why...?
He asked to join me the first time and he asked again today, but literally as soon as I said "sure" one of the gym teachers called time to clean up.
This other boy that also played with me today I think is a junior that played in the old volleyball group. I've talked with him a LITTLE because of that and I know he likes sports. I'm LITERALLY the least physically fit person both PE classes. So why would one of the popular sporty boys associate with the slowest, weakest, but also probably the hardest trying girl in class?
IM MUCH CONFUZZLED THIS IS LIKE THE THIRD BOY THING IVE HAD THIS YEAR AND IM NOT OKAY
I kinda wonder if there was a conversation about me somewhere among these boys' groups. Because before now they've barely associated with me. For the rest of the class they don't talk to me, but warm up/free time is where everyone really socializes so idk... Is this some sort of weird pity-friendly thing because I play alone during this time? Did my PE teacher asked them about this? It's only two classes so it's kinda early to tell, but considering it's the last quarter and we've been in PE together all year it's really weird.
Maybe I'm just overthinking everything. I have no clue when it comes to anything.
