-at 5:30 AM, the alarm to disturb our peaceful slumbering goes off-

Me: *immediately stumbles like a zombie to get the thing turned off and to turn on the lights*
Rose: HUUUUUUURRRRRMMMGH *rolls over and attempts to go back to sleep*
Viryn: can I set it on fire this morning? Pleeeeeaaaaassseeeeee?
Nathen: *casually reading book and looks decently alive* no Viryn. We say this every morning.
Viryn: *groans*
Me: *silently pulls out phone and goes through notification*

-at 5:40 AM, the alarm goes off again!-
Me:*jumps up and turns off alarm for real this time*
Excuse me, this is not okay! You aren't supposed to go off again once you already wake me once! Screw you snooze!
Nathen: should I be concerned or...?
Viryn: nah you know Becca
Nathen: fair point
Rose: woah she said something before going downstairs!

-At 5:45 AM, my mom entered my domain-
Mom: Rebecca you need to get up! Get your day started!
Me: *cuddled in blankets* the outside world is a cold and cruel place
Mom: yes and it's supposed to be thunderstormy today and...
Rose: when did Becca and I switch places last night?
Nathen: YOU TAINTED OUR ONE MORNING PERSON ROSE
Rose: I BLAME THE 5:30 WAKE UP CALL
Rose and Nathen: *start arguing*
Viryn: ...want to go get breakfast?
Me: good idea. It's already 6

Yeah I was weird this morning. My brain had priority instead of normal me. This normally happens when my brain has priority.
