Chapter 51

Jungkook blinked. From all the things that could have left his lips, he hadn't expected that. "You mean-"

Hoseok's grinned widened. "Truth for the truth, Jungkook."

Jungkook nodded, "I have been with the police for three years."

Hoseok nodded, "Your Sarge is my uncle."

"We have been investigating the family for a long time."

"I have been spying on this family for years, my father was Goro Kim's, right-hand man."

Jungkook let out a breath, "How?"

Hoseok looked up to the sky, "My father was the original spy, he was my Uncle's partner."

"What happened?"

"He died in an accident on the day Goro Kim found out he was working for the police."

Jungkook didn't know how to respond, that was horrible news. He knew that the Sarge had a partner along time ago but he rarely talked about it.

"And how?"

Hoseok shook his head, "Truth for the truth."

"I wasn't told to infiltrate this family, I did it on my own but I try to keep my communication to a minimum."

"My mother died of heartbreak after what happened but she trained me and my brother... The arts of deception she was also Yunari's eldest sister."

"I have a friend that had been sent to keep an eye on Namjoon Kim."

Hoseok turned his gaze from the sky and looked at Jungkook. "Namjoon Kim is innocent since the beginning."

Jungkook's eyes widened, "He was sent there because he was still investigating Yumei Kazuma."

Hoseok smiled again, "No matter how we discouraged him, he wouldn't stop looking for her, so I contacted my uncle."

"So you have-"

Hoseok nodded, "You would need to understand that this whole ordeal was planned since the death of my aunt."

Jungkook leaned back and looked up to the stars. This was a conspiracy since the beginning and he would need a notebook to write down everything.

Who was related to who, how everything fitted in and how their plans were going to unfold. This was a lot of information to take in.

He sat forward again and placed his fingers on his chin. "How are you planning to take this family down?"

Hoseok raked his fingers through his hair, "I want to take over this family."

Take over? How? That wasn't what the sarge wanted, he wanted to take both families down to free the town from their dealings on the black market.

"That is not our plan."

"I know what my uncle wants but this way, it will be better and it will hurt them."

Jungkook couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Does the Sarge-"

"You seem to be missing the point, what I want and what my uncle wants are two different things."

Jungkook widened his eyes at Hoseok continued. "The only thing we have in common is Yumei."

The sarge had spoken that name often, Yunari's child and everything was for her. He didn't know what made her so special but he only followed his sarge's orders.

"I see, so you want her safe too?"

Hoseok stood up, "She is too innocent to be soiled in the business of Yakuza. That is why we are all trying to free her but Jin... He wants to pull her back in."

Jungkook remained seated, "What do you mean?"

Hoseok turned his back on Jungkook, "He wants to use her as leverage to take over the Kazuma family, but I told him he should marry her instead and by that gain the Kazuma family."

"You did what?"

"Don't sound so surprised, Jungkook. I have to play the devil in this too or my cover will be over. So he might devise a plan to get rid of Mr Kazuma."

"What is your plan then?"

Hoseok began walking, "That, you will have to wait and see but I want you on my side and I will need your help as soon as we know what Jin's plan is."

Jungkook sprung to his feet and followed Hoseok, "That is not reassuring."

Hoseok didn't answer him when they reach the house, Hoseok turned to him, "You will have to be in spy mode and that would mean you will have to go with the decisions even if you do not want to."

Jungkook didn't know what to say to him after those words, he would have to be emotionless or he would end up in a ditch. Tae was right, he shouldn't have done this.

Jimin blinked at Majima, "You want to talk? Right now?"

Majima nodded, "Let us go outside, the walls have ears."

Jimin nodded and walked with Majima outside. "What do you want to talk about?"

Majima let out a sigh, "I have heard everything that you and Mr Kazuma talked about."

Jimin stiffened, well it wasn't a surprise he was raising his voice. It was just frustrating that he was making decisions without consulting him.

He should have talked to him first before bringing up the proposal to Namjoon's father. "What about it."

"I agree that the little Miss should know the truth. But about the plan to get her out... That is where it gets hazy."

Jimin never thought he would hear these words coming out of his mouth, he was basically agreeing to go behind Mr Kazuma's back.

"What do you suggest?"

Majima folded his arms, "This business is getting out of hand and I love Yumei. I would break worlds apart for her, but if Mr Kazuma doesn't tell her..."

He closed his eyes, "I am getting off-topic. The only way this would work is if we fake their deaths."

Jimin blinked, "You are agreeing easily that she should be with Namjoon-"

Majima interrupted him, "I have looked into him and the stories I have heard makes me believe and if you and Yoon are trying to get them together, I am all in."

Jimin couldn't hide the shock on his face, "I am glad you are on board. Another thing-"

Majima blinked.

"What about Riyu?"

Majima let out a snarl, "That woman... I have no idea but something tells me that she is spying."

Jimin nodded, typical Majima he never missed a thing. "Then I will need your help, Mei-mei is writing a letter to Namjoon so-"

Majima smirked, "Say no more... If you want to sneak her out for dates. I will be there."

Jimin held out his hand towards Majima, "Then let us shake on our new alliance."

Majima took his hand.

Riyu slammed her bedroom door shut. "That bastard! I gave him the rest of my years and this was how he repays me?"

She slammed her hand on her drawer hut it didn't subdue her anger. She had given up her children to be with him and he didn't care one bit about her.

Yunari's ghost was still haunting him, she let out a frustrated cry and her phone vibrated in her pocket.

She took it out and saw a new message flash on the screen it was from Jin.

"Mother, I have a job for you."

She replied immediately at least one of her boys still loved her. Her thoughts went to Yoongi, he never got over the fact that she had abandoned them. He kept her at arm's length.

"What do I have to do for you, my sweet boy?"

She had tried her best to teach Yoongi not to get to attached to the girl but it fell on deaf ears. He would die for her if he had too. A new message came through.

"The job doesn't require you to do it now but in a few weeks."

A few weeks? What was he planning? What was happening in a few weeks? Did he come up with a plan to destroy this family?

That would be wonderful, she was going to agree to anything that he was planning. She had learned the hard way that Shito didn't have any love for her.

She was also very curious as to what he was planning, maybe she should sneak away and have a little talk with him.

She smirked, no one here knew that she was a spy. After Goro had sent her Yoongi, she had looked after Jin from afar. She only told Shito a few nights ago that Goro died a year ago.

She blinked, she never told him that she had known along that he was dead. She had freed Jin from that horrible man when she had pulled the trigger that night.

Jin took over the family like she hoped that he would and he will never know what sacrifice she had made to get him there.

Her anger had drained from her blood and she sat down on her bed. This was a secret she will take to her grave, her thoughts went to Yumei.

She cringed. She came to a realisation that she had blamed that babe since she was born for her own unhappiness.

Her phone vibrated again and she looked down.

"I have a plan to take over the Kazuma family."

She smirked, her boy was dreaming big but it would be difficult to take over Shito's family. There were Shito, Majima and Jin.

"Want to tell me?"

She didn't even add Yumei to that list, her father wanted to get the poor angel out of here. She rolled her eyes, he was the one who coddled her and never let her go out.

Her weak immune system sounded like an excuse for most of his decisions.

Her phone vibrated again.

"In a few weeks, I want you to kill Shito Kazuma."
