You think you know where you're going in life, you think you have your act together. Think again. Donnie was dumbfounded when his girlfriend dumped him, more so when she put the blame firmly at his door. He'd do anything to get her back, make any changes necessary, but will that be enough?

A prequel to A Sense of Guilt, this is very much Donnie's story and takes place nearly three years earlier. It's a short story which can be read as a stand-alone, and does not contain any spoilers.
