The First-Aid Kit
I looked around the room I woke up in. It was unfamiliar and definitely not my house. My neck strained as I tried to lift it. God it hurts.
I tried to remember what happened. It was like getting drugged and drunk at the same time. I tried to sit up but a sparking pain in my lower stomach jerked me right back to were I started. A bandage wrapped around me like a tight blanket. My eyes panned it. It was all white until I got to the middle.
Red.
My least favorite color now.
I groaned in pain as I clenched my teeth to contain the sound.
I heard footsteps coming from the right if me. I kept my eyes closed praying it wasn't Zachary.
"Oh good you're awake." Said a voice. I sighed quietly in relief it wasn't Zach.
A tall figure stood in front of me so I could clearly see him.
Mark.
"What...what happened?" I asked as my head throbbed. Mark kneeled next to me. I realized I was on his bed.
"Why am I here!" I asked in a panic. Mark put his hand on my shoulder and I flinched. He quickly brought his hand back and looked at my scared face.
"You're safe, now. Zachary won't hurt you." He said calmly.
I wanted to know how he knew Zachary's name, but I was too happy I was with Mark. I turned my head towards Mark but my spine shocked my body. I groaned loudly in pain as Mark rushed out of the room.
In just a few seconds he came back with peroxide. Gently unwrapping my bandage, we both gazed over at the huge gash.
"Did he get me?" I asked embarrassed.
He just slowly nodded his head and dabbed the peroxide on a cloth.
"This is gonna hurt like hell." He quickly said.
"What!? GWAHHH!!" He already interrupted my panicked questions by rubbing the disinfecting liquid on my wound.
"It's better than having an infection." He stated.
That's true though.
I didn't want anything but a scar.
I didn't want this to happen at all.
--------------------------
"(Y/N), it's me. Mark." He said hoping I remembered him. I chuckled but that stopped immediately after I felt pain again. "I remember you Mark." I looked into his eyes as they shimmered. I didn't noticed how close we were until something rung in my back pocket. Marks cheeks flushed and so did mine as I answered my phone. "Hello?"
No answer.
"Hello!?"
Still nothing.
I looked at my phone and saw that it was shattered.
"Fuck," I whispered under my breath.
I turned off my phone and put it back in my pocket.
"Today is just gr-REAT!!! AH OW!"
Another shooting pain rushed through my body.
Marks POV
I felt so bad for her. I did everything I could to keep her comfortable. She shut her eyes tight as she grabbed the bed cover. "Why does my head hurt so bad!" She whimpered. I slowly and gently scanned her scalp. That's when I saw it.
"Oh God." I said quietly.
"What is it?"
Oops, did I say that out loud?
"Stay still and don't move." I said as I walked out of the room.
I scanned through the bathroom drawers and closets to find bandages but I couldn't find one. Single. Strand.
I looked over at (y/n) body. 'I have no other choice.' I thought as I walked over to (y/n).
Your POV
I noticed something completely different about Marks wardrobe.
His shirt was off!
He took the deep v neck and wrapped it around a raw part of my head. His stomach was toned and his arms were muscular. A deep v-shaped line tracked down his hips as his pants stopped below his belly button. I blushed madly.
"You must've gotten a blow to the head. It's bleeding pretty badly." He said casually. BECAUSE A GUY WHO YOU JUST MET TAKING OFF HIS SHIRT IN FRONT OF YOU IS PERFECTLY CASUAL!
