The sun began to set and the young pup was only trembling and shaking in bed. Her ears twitched and she rolled over. She clenched onto the bed tightly and gritted her teeth. Her breathing started to get heavy and soon jumped out of bed panting heavily
"M-mei.." Yuzu mumbled and trembled. She lifted her head and glanced over at the window. Memories appeared in her mind as she remembered her first time escaping and the moment where her grandfather yelled at her for being a failure just because of her dog soul. Her body was shaking and soon smiled while tearing up
"H-haha...I-I need...to escape..." Yuzu said as she giggled a bit and soon noticed her soul staring at her. She only seemed confused for a moment until her soul went through the window
"H-huh?" Yuzu asked and soon got out of bed. She rushed over to the window and soon spotted her soul outside
"O-outside.." Yuzu said and trembled. Her heart started racing and soon she heard footsteps by her door

Yuzu went towards the closet as she grabbed a pair of Mei's clothes and soon she got to the window. She looked around making sure no guard or person was near. Yuzu froze for a moment as she heard the footsteps getting closer
No time for a rope!
Yuzu shut her eyes tightly before she jumped out the window. She allowed herself to fall towards the ground and prepared herself for the hard impact. Until suddenly a shadow shot out from her body and helped her with the landing. It was so surprising that Yuzu looked down and realized the shadows were holding her
"M-mei.." Yuzu mumbled as she sensed the powers were coming from her partner. She soon heard something and decided to shift into her dog form to not be seen. She ran through the village and hide in between places from the guards. Her ears twitched as she heard footsteps and ran away heading to the forest. She ended up shifting back to normal once she got to safety and sighed in relief
"Okay...made it. N-now where to go? They'll start looking for me..." Yuzu said as she fidgeted with her fingers and held out a piece of clothing. She held it closely as she was able to inhale Mei's scent from it
Mei...
"Hmph...so you're this in love that you'd even step out to find her? In this for?" A certain someone spoke. Yuzu turned around and her eyes widened as she saw Phila
"H-huh? Phila? Wh-what are you doing h-here?" Yuzu asked as she seemed surprised. Phila only looked at her with dull eyes and sighed
"I still...don't understand why you left me for someone else. Did you ever cared for me? Did you ever truly loved me?" Phila asked as she looked at her straight into her eyes. Yuzu only seemed confused not knowing what to do or say
"I-I...look..we just weren't m-meant for each other. I..know it hurts but..I-I got no time for this! I want to find Mei! Please help me...d-do you know anything abo-"
"You love Mei that much huh..." Phila said and trembled as she pinned her ears back. Yuzu only looked at her with a soft expression and took a step closer
"Pl-please help me Phila...I-I want to get to see Mei again. I-I have to do see her again and make sure she is okay. I still down know how they got to he-"
"I did it.." Phila said
"H-huh?" Yuzu asked as she looked at her
"I wanted to kill that Aihara with that stupid powder but unfortunately...I can't" Phila said and Yuzu only trembled

"Phila...wh-what do you me-"
"Dumbass. Do you need me to spell it out for you? I did it. I caused the powder spell. I tried to kill her but that stupid Momokino ruined it" Phila said
"Th-then...why did she vanish?" Yuzu asked
"I suppose her father did it..." Phila said and Yuzu only trembled
"Y-you...why...just why!? Why did you have to do it?! I-I gave you a second chance! Cyndi and Hinria! They-"
"I can't take it anymore okay?! I did it for us, Yuzu! That ice cold bitch is always getting on my nerves! Her glares are the damn worse! I don't get how are you with someone so pathetic and weak!" Phila said
"M-mei isn't weak! She is strong and brave! You don't know her so such your damn mouth!" Yuzu said
"You...I always loved you...how did you...just suddenly forget about me? After she showed up..my entire life was ruined! All because of her! I even lost my father who was only trying to protect me!" Phila said
"He tried to kill mother!" Yuzu said
"...I guess it is all your fault as well" Phila said
"H-huh?" Yuzu asked
"You're the main reason why I turned out this way. Do you understand? You're also a reason why I'm like this! It's not fair! I am suppose to be yours! We were happy! You loved me!" Phila said before she threw a punch at Yuzu. Yuzu only trembled as she fell to the ground then soon noticed a trail of something
W-wait that...is...
"M-mei.." Yuzu mumbled as she was able to sniff her scent. Phila gritted her teeth and attacked Yuzu once again. Yuzu whimpered loudly and rolled over to the ground. She trembled a bit and tried to get up
"I-I have to find Mei...just..l-leave me alone then. I-I'll find Mei o-on my own.." Yuzu said as she tried to get herself back and gasped as Phila punched her across her face
"Are you fucking listening to me! I love you!" Phila said. Yuzu was on the ground trembling a bit and sat up
"M-mei...I-I have to get to h-her" Yuzu said as she crawled a bit while groaning slightly. Phila gritted her teeth as she teared up and raised her fists
"I had enough!" Phila said and soon Yuzu glared at her
"Freeze..." Yuzu mumbled and soon Phila's body froze in place. Phila gritted her teeth as she tried to escape using her powers but it was hopeless. There was no escape. Yuzu stood up as her legs trembled and tried to keep her balance. Soon tears rolled down her cheeks
"I-I cared about you..Phila...I-I really did...but.." Yuzu paused and soon she looked down while tearing up
"M-mei...was probably right. Sh-she was right...about getting rid of you. I-I'm sorry Mei...for not l-listening.." Yuzu mumbled and lifted her head up glaring at Phila. Dark shadows surrounded the young Queen and smiled as her body began to release steam
"Phila...kill yourself"

"We need to escape" Mei said
"B-but Meimei...everything is dark and there are guards everywhere" Himeko said
"I don't care. We are leaving this place and going home" Mei said as she growled
"How will you get out of this place first? Your father will see and try to fight" Himeko said
"Let him attack" Mei said
"Mei, you can't waste your powers. What if we successfully escape but end up finding more demons? If you're exhausted then it'll be hard for you to-mmph!" Mei covered her mouth as her ears twitched
"You smell that?" Mei asked as she sniffed the air
"Hm?" Himeko asked as she seemed confused. Mei pulled her hand away and began to sniff the area around her. She sniffed something sweet and a little hot around her
"Is it just me or do you smell that?" Mei asked
"I don't know what you're sniffing so it's probably just you" Himeko said. Mei sniffed a bit more before her heart started beating fast
"It's her scent! Yuzu's scent!" Mei said
"What? You can sniff her from here?" Himeko asked
"B-but this scent...doesn't smell normal. It's not her normal scent...it's more like..." Mei paused and trembled for a moment
"What is it Meimei?" Himeko asked
"Her heat..." Mei said as she blushed deeply
"Eh?! But doesn't she behave differently when she is in heat?" Himeko asked
"I don't know how the hell I can smell her scent from here. Must be a mate thing..." Mei said and heard someone knock the door. She looked at the door and gritted her teeth
"Fuck off" Mei snarled
"I-I just wanted to give you some beverages" Sho said. Himeko looked at Mei who had her back facing the door. Mei looked at Himeko and nodded. Himeko walked to the door and opened it
"Thanks Himeko" Sho said as he smiled a little
"You're welcome sir" Himeko said
"Himeko...please step out for a moment" Mei said
"U-uh sure" Himeko said before she left the room. Sho placed the tray down and looked at his daughter
"M-mei...thanks for giving me a chance to talk about all this. Pl-please sit down and have a drink" Sho said as he smiled warmly. Mei only kept her back facing him as she stared at the window
"...you left our family because you were thinking about yourself and power" Mei said
"Wh-what? No Mei. Th-that's not true" Sho said
"Not true? Not true!? You never came back! You just left! Mother was upset and cried that night! She blamed herself for your disappearance! She thought that if she'd were a better partner then you would've stayed! It's not her fault that she was fated to be with someone else! At least she tried to be a good mate and a mother! She did all that to protect the Kingdom and lead it! All you did was just worry about yourself and never spend time with me! Whenever I tried to hang out with you, all you did was tell me some other time but you never came! I always asked mom why you didn't like me?! She held me closely and comforted me every time you neglected me!" Mei shouted as tears built up in her eyes. Sho's heart ached as he watched his daughter crying. He walked up to her as he tried to embrace her but Mei slapped his hand away
"Don't fucking touch me" Mei said coldly as she glared at him with her cold lavender eyes
"M-mei...please...please let me make it up to you! I promise I'll be a better father! I was stupid leaving you and your mother behind!" Sho said as he knelt down
"If you really want me to forgive you...then let me see Yuzu! I want her back! Yuzu is the one I truly love! God damnit why don't you understand that!?" Mei exclaimed
"Your mother was murdered by her!" Sho said
"Yuzu wasn't the one! It was her mother!" Mei said. Sho's eyes widened as he trembled
"W-wait...Ume was...th-the one?" Sho asked
"...she killed her because she was after me. Luckily she was able to take her soul and also...her body" Mei said
"W-wait body?!" Sho exclaimed
Just what the hell is Ume planning?!
"Will you let me be with Yuzu? You already know the truth...just please...if you let me. Then I might be able to forgive you..." Mei spoke softly. Sho only stood back up on his two feet and looked down
"Sorry Mei...but those Okogis...you can't be with her" Sho said
"...very well. I knew you wouldn't understand...unlike Mr. Okogi. He is a better father than you..." Mei said
SLAP!
"Don't you dare compare me to that man! He is not better than me! You've been brainwashed!" Sho said but froze for a moment before staring at his hand. His eyes widened and looked at Mei
"M-mei...no...n-no Mei...wait! I-I'm sorry dear! I'm so sorry for-" Mei kicked him as her eyes glowed and gritted her teeth
"You were never my father...and you never will be. Whether you like it or not...I will be with Yuzu and no one...will stop me from being by her side" Mei said before she caused massive explosion. Himeko gasped as the building started talking apart
What did Mei do this time?!
She created a shield over herself as she allowed herself to fall. Her shield protected her body and deflected the pieces of rocks
"Ah! Ugh!" Himeko groaned as she landed slightly roughly but kept surrounding herself with the shield. She gasped as a couple of shadows started attacking the shield
"What the fuck?! Demons?!" Himeko exclaimed
'Leave that to me'
"Huh?" Himeko asked. Suddenly sharp ice appeared from the ground and caught the demons like flys
"Oh...I forgot I could do that" Himeko said
'Move bitch!'
"Don't yell inside my head" Himeko said before she got rid of the shield and started running. She felt a powerful aura as Mei started to attack her father
"Seriously? She is fighting him again?" Himeko asked and dodged one of the demons
I'll deal with these demons and worry about her later!
Meanwhile Mei dodged her father's attacks then created a couple of spears throwing them at him
"Mei, please stop it with this nonsense" Sho said as he dodged the spears
"If you want me to stop then let me see Yuzu!" Mei shouted before she attacked him again with a larger shadow sphere. Sho's eyes widened and got pushed away by the attack. His body fell onto the crush pieces of the building and groaned softly. Mei attacked once again and stomped the ground breaking it apart
"M-mei! Stop this! You're destroying this land!" Sho said as he attacked Mei with his shadows but she created flames over her arm
"F-fire?!" Sho exclaimed
"Have you forgotten...when you're mated...you can use their power" Mei said as she smirked before bursting the area in flames. She turned around as she heard a roar and saw the Demon King
"Get that girl!" The demon ordered and soon the flying demons started to fly towards her. Mei only looked at them rushing over and created a fireball
"Why are you all getting in my way!?" Mei exclaimed before she threw the fireball towards them then exploded once it got near them. Cries were heard as the demons fell to the ground from the impact
"Mei, what are you doing? Don't hurt them!" Sho said as he groaned trying to get up
"If you don't want me to hurt them then fucking let me go! I don't want to be here! I don't want to stay here! I WANT TO BE WITH YUZU!" Mei shouted before her werecat soul appeared beside her then pointed her finger at her father. The werecat roared before rushing towards the man and picked his body up with her jaws
"Agh!" Sho cried in pain as the werecat sunk it's teeth inside his body
"And no one...will stop me from being with her" Mei said coldly as her eyes glowed and smirked. Himeko only hid behind all the pieces as she watched Mei fight
"Fuck...we have to stop Mei before that Nishihara power takes completely over her body" Himeko said
"Try and stop Mei in that form? You're crazy" Her psycho side said
"At least distract her for a bit... because if her power takes over...we're fucked" Himeko said
That Okogi seriously needs to pick up the pace! Can't you see your mate is losing control!
