"This is tiring" Jinah groaned as she grabbed a pile of wood and dropped it from her shoulders

"Soha!" Hojo exclaimed and Jinah only bit down on her tail

"Oh...that uh...well don't worry about it okay? They just...need time to think about it" Jinah said as she stood up and brushed some grass from her clothes

"We'll be heading back and help the others" Jinah said as she smiled
"Please don't get near me..." Soha said as she pinned her ears down and stepped away from Jinah keeping her distance

"You're such a sick pervert" Soha groaned and walked away with Jinah
"Uh...is your mother always like this?" Harumin asked

"Don't worry... you're not alone" Harumin said as she hugged her

"Come on. We need some rest" Harumin said as she carried her. Matsuri blushed and cuddled her neck softly

The day ended for everyone in the Kingdom and everyone seemed to be calm after the attack. The girls were in bed together holding onto each other

"...I'm not sure if she hated me because I was mother's child or...because our friendship ended up reminding her of what she had lost" Yuzu said
"You're talking about your mother right?" Mei asked
"Yes...and...do you find it strange?" Yuzu asked
"Strange?" Mei asked

"...our fathers who were once friends became enemies. Our mothers who were once enemies ended up turning out being soulmates but were separated in the end" Mei said
"And now...us..." Yuzu said and looked down a bit. She looked at the ring she wore and jumped as she felt a pair of arms wrap themselves around her waist. Mei held her closely and pressed her body close to hers
"I know you're scared...but Yuzu...everything will be okay. I promise we won't end up like our parents. We will...live together forever and have our family. I'm scared too but...we have to stay strong and support each other. We will get through this together. No one will tear us apart...my love for you is too strong. I don't want to leave your side..." Mei said and blushed deeply as she pinned her ears down. Yuzu blushed deeply as her heart started to beat fast

"Mei..." Yuzu said and turned around to face her

Yuzu held Mei closely and slid her soft warm hands behind her. She grabbed the zipper and slid it down

"Mei..." Yuzu whispered softly and held her hand. Their eyes glowed and leaned in slowly pressing their lips against each other
