Shelby's P.O.V

I knew Ross and Jess were shouting my name, but I didn't care. I pinned Katelyn to the ground. She dug her fingernails into my arm, so deep that it drew a few drops of blood. I scratched her across the face, shortly before she broke free from my grip. She punched me in the cheek, and it stung a little, but it wasn't enough to stop me from kicking her in the shin. She shoved me to the ground as I let out a growl. I stood again, grabbing Katelyn by the shirt and forcing her into the wall. She left a dent as she pushed me backwards, knocking me off my feet.

She tried to grab my arm, but I grabbed her's instead, leaving a deep scratch across her elbow. She winced in pain. She slapped me across the face. I quickly jumped off the ground, grabbing Katelyn by her hands and flinging her into the wall. She landed with a crash, almost knocking down a few pictures. I could still hear Ross shouting my name, but he was too scared to interfere. 

Before Katelyn could peel herself off the wall, I pinned her down, kicking both of her legs as hard as I could. She squirmed under my grip. "Let me go, you jerk!" she demanded.

"I don't take orders from you," I hissed. "This was all your fault."

"How?!"

"Don't think I could forget what you did to my parents all those years ago. You killed them, I know it!"

Everyone went silent. I chuckled. "I won't kill you. That's just mean. But know that what you did to ruin my life those 2 years ago will ALWAYS make me despise you!"

"Your parents were monsters!" Katelyn exclaimed. "They were responsible for Aphmau's family falling apart, for all those kids suffering in those facilities!"

I grabbed Katelyn's uninjured arm. "There's a reason they did what they did," I whispered. "You're just too dumb to realise that. Everything happens for a reason."

I made sure my elbow was pinning Katelyn's chest down. I looked at her arm, then up at her face. "This is gonna hurt you," I said, shortly before my fangs sunk into her neck.

I realised what I was doing. I quickly let Katelyn go. She saw the fear in my eyes, and edged away from me. I glanced back at Ross and Jess. Ross was confused. Jess was furious. "Get. Out," she demanded.

I frowned at her before turning to the door and standing there for a few seconds. "Didn't you hear me?! GET OUT!!" Jess roared.

I whimpered before running out of the room, down the stairs, and out of the house. I knew Ross was behind me. I knew he wasn't very happy. We'd just found Jess, and I'd just ruined it.

Why the Heck did I do that?
