Arcee just got back from her mission with the rookie: Smokescreen. She found Bulkhead alone in the training room. He was punching at the wall, his stance weaker and weaker every time he threw a punch. She felt bad. She never wanted Bulk to feel useless because he wasn't.

"Hey, Bulkhead." She entered the room.

"Hey, 'Cee."

She liked his nickname for her, and how it sounded coming from him.

He moved over to her, "Where's everyone? I got out of recharge, and no one was here."

"Optimus wanted you to rest. We all went on missions to help out."

He moved back to the wall, "I. Could've. Helped." He said while punching the wall after each word, "Who was partnered with the rookie?" He stared at the wall.

"Me." She softly said.

"'Cee, I couldn't hear you." Bulkhead turned to her. She was never this quiet.

"Me." She spoke louder, not making eye contact, "He was partnered up with me."

Bulkhead growled, his face twisted with jealousy, "He went with you! He could've never protected you, not the way I would! He was probably reckless and uncaring," He placed his servo on her back, "Please tell me you're okay."

She nodded and furrowed her opticbrows at his response. Bulkhead was never like this: protective and jealous. What was he thinking? That Arcee would fall for a newer, younger bot. No, she loved Bulk. She felt him stumble into her arms. He was probably exhausted after beating up that wall, and he was in recovery.

"Arcee," Smokescreen entered the room, "What happened? I heard shouting." He set his eyes on Bulkhead, "I'll help."

"It's fine. I can handle him." Arcee's mouth hovered over Bulkhead's hearing receptors, "Bulk, darling, if I'm to help you, you must stand."

Bulkhead did so.

"I didn't know you guys were sparkbound." She forgot Smokescreens was still there.

"Not yet," She sassed, and carried the wrecker to his berth. Once he was situated, Arcee kissed his helm, and walked to the door. She was only stopped by Bulkhead's servos clutching her's.

"Stay."

And she climbed into his berth, and situated herself in his arms.
