| Beauty & The Beast | Chapter 18.2 |
Several tomatoes were thrown, flying through the air before smashing into one of the men who had barged in the castle. He growled, getting upset and angry as he wiped off the red liquid from his face. The man was about to smack a couple of creamer sets that have thrown him the round red tomatoes, but ChiChi interrupted him.
"Now!" She yelled, as her and a few tea-cups interrupted spilled some hot tea over him. She smirked as the guy screamed in agony.
The rest were fighting against each other. Eighteen throwing herself off from above into one of the intruders, and then fighting off against more intruders, and having the victory in the end, while Puar held a torch to Kakarot, who he had cornered against the wall. Kakarot's expression was filled with fear for the heat from the torch was melting to his doom. Puar laughed evilly, however, Bardock showed up.
He caught sight of what was happening to his son. "Tch, you're not going be the one laughing any longer." He growled, with a frown, and determination in his eyes, he slid down the banister of the stairway with a pair of scissors and shoved them up Puar's arse.
Puar screamed out in pain of feeling the sharp edge of the scissors.
While the fight continued on in the castle, Yamcha went through every door on the upper floors. His brows were together, forming a frown. He kicked each door down and pointing out a bow, trying to find the Beast, but to no avail.
The Beast was nowhere in sight where he looked. Yamcha was getting frustrated. 'Damn Beast. Where the heck are you?' He turned around after checking out another room with no sign of the Beast and marched down the hallway.
Elsewhere, with the forest, you rode onto Oolong with little Gohan and your sister, racing through the tall trees and anything that came your way. Nothing seemed to stop you. You were racing against time as you clenched your teeth, worried about the Beast, hoping that Yamcha hadn't hurt him or anyone else in the castle. You had to get there and stop him before anything bad happens.
Back at the castle, poor Bee has been trapped in the kitchen with several men following him, laughing with their weapons in hand. But what they didn't expect were a bunch of knives of different sizes popping out of the kitchen's cabinets. Krillin roared to life, scaring the men out of there.
All the intruders ran out of the castle, screaming and fearing for their lives, as all the servants cheered in joy.
"And stay out!" yelled out Bardock. He cringed when Kakarot grabbed him and kissed him on both cheeks, softly double slapping him back. "Uck!"

It was dark in the West Wing. Nothing, but pure darkness within sight and the rose that was dying slowly. Vegeta sat alone with his head hung low, the pain in his heart bringing him down, looking out the window in sorrow. He knew it wasn't right for him to be feeling this way. This wasn't him, but that pain of just thinking about you, leaving him forever, causes him to feel so miserable, because without you he will remain as a Beast forever and he also had developed such strong feelings towards you.
He simply just wanted you by his side.
The door creaked open slightly, Yamcha had busted through the door. Slowly making his way in. His eyes grow wide, catching insight the Beast who he came after. The tips of his lips rose up.
'Found you, you monster.'
Yamcha readied his bow. Placing the arrow on the string and prepare himself in a stance.
Catching the noise Yamcha was making, Vegeta turned to him. He frowned, yet did not care about the man standing there about to shoot him. He turned back to look out the window, just waiting for you to come back to him.
Taking this as an opportunity, Yamcha released the arrow, striking the Beast on the back. Vegeta roared out, the pain from the arrow going all over his body, but Yamcha didn't waste time and quickly pushed the Beast out of the glass window to the strong winds and rainy night outside the balcony.
Vegeta growled in hearing the man laughing, as he tried to get up on his feet. He wasn't fast enough, however, Yamcha kicked him to the side, sending him down to an edge of the castle.
The Beast laid there on his stomach. Vegeta didn't have enough strength to get up. 'What's the point...' He thought and clenched his teeth. 'Might as well get killed than turn into a complete Beast forever.'
"Get up!" Yamcha growled and kicked him again, causing Vegeta to hiss out. "What's the matter, beast?" The man chuckled. "Too kind and gentle to fight back?"
Vegeta ignored him and closed his eyes.
His jaw tightened, moving back to grab a sharp long piece from the roof before Yamcha rose it over his head to finish off the Beast.
"NO!" Came a feminine voice from the ground, catching Vegeta's attention.
His eyes widened in seeing you on the ground with your sister alongside you. "[F/n]..."
"NO, YAMCHA DON'T! STOP! Stop, please!" You screamed up with your eyes filled with tears and horror in watching Yamcha about to kill off the one you love.
As in seeing you, Vegeta had gained back his strength and quickly turned to take a hold of the dangerous object Yamcha had grabbed before he could hit him with it. A growl escaped his throat as he stood up, fighting off against the man before him.
"Let's go Oolong!" You cried to the horse as he neighed and ran inside the castle.
Vegeta swang Yamcha to the side, sending him to the edge of the roof, as he approached him in fast speed.
Yamcha tightened his teeth, swinging the weapon at Vegeta, but the Beast had caught it, causing Yamcha to grip on the side. A roared ran through the strong winds, Vegeta jumped onto the man, making both rolled down the roof of the castle.
You caught your breath, running as fast as you could up the stairs and into the hallway. You could stop one second. You had to make it in time without wasting any. It was a matter of life or death for the Beast and you couldn't bare Vegeta to die by the hands of such an awful man as Yamcha.
Yamcha kicked the Beast off of him, sending him soaring off into the dark shadows. He picked up the deadly weapon, smashing a gargoyle, thinking it was the Beast. A thunder rang loud in the night, flashing that it was a stone monster.
"Come on out and fight!" Yamcha furrowed his brows, looking out into the darkness. He shoved back some of his soaked hair that was on his face. "Were you in love with her, Beast?" He inquired. "Did you honestly think she'd want you when she had someone like me?!"
Yamcha looked around, trying to find the Beast while walking past Vegeta who was hiding in the shadows. The Beast growled, despising what Yamcha was saying, as he out of the darkness and approached him from behind.
The man could sense his presence and strike to the side where Vegeta was, but the Beast dodged causing him to miss.
Vegeta went up to him and took a bite of the object that Yamcha was holding with his fierce canine teeth, having a strong grip as the man tried to take it away from him. They spun around before Vegeta let go and Yamcha swang it once again, only to miss.
"It's over, Beast! [F/n] is mine!" Yamcha cried out.
Vegeta had enough of his idiotic talking. Growling and glaring at the fool before him. The amount of bullshit Yamcha was spouting didn't matter to the Beast for he knew he was saying nonsense. He threw out a strong bite at Yamcha, making him lose his balance and of the hold to the weapon he had.
A strong firm hand from the Beast took hold around his neck, lifting Yamcha up to the edge of the roof. Yamcha's eyes widened wide open in seeing the down below.
"Let me go!" Yamcha cried out in fear, turning back to Vegeta, wrapping his hands around Vegeta's large hand. "Let me go! Please, don't hurt me. I'll do anything. Anything!"
His canine teeth were latched tight together, glaring at the man. He wanted to just let him go and let him fall, but that wouldn't make him any better than this human before him. Vegeta calmed himself, his expression softening. Not liking one bit on what he was doing, as he walked back, pulling the man onto the roof, but before letting him go, the beast uttered two words. "Get out!" Vegeta pushed him out of his sight.
"Vegeta!"
In hearing your voice and saying his name, Vegeta turned and spotted you on the balcony. "[F/n]."
You smiled in seeing him okay, reaching out your hand for him to take a hold of. He climbed up to you and held onto your hand. He couldn't believe you had returned. "[F/n]... You came back." Vegeta placed one of his hand onto your cheek.
You nodded, closing your eyes in feeling his warm hands, caressing your cheek. You moved your own hands onto his hand. "Yes, I did..."
The moment was short for then a sound of metal against skin resounded, causing you to open your eyes wide.
Yamcha had snuck up onto Vegeta and stabbed him. Blood stained his white shirt as Vegeta roared from the harsh pain from the wound. The Beast swang his arm at him, but Yamcha avoided the attack. Yet, as he smirked, Yamcha had lost his balance and fell back.
He screamed out in horror, as he looked back in seeing himself falling down to the deep low ground. Yamcha reached out his arms, but it was too late. It was the end for him...
You quickly grabbed onto Vegeta's shirt, bringing him onto the balcony.
Kakarot, ChiChi, and Bardock had made their way up while you were settling down Vegeta on his back. His eyes were closed. He was slowly breathing, and you caressed his cheek, making him open his dark orbs. You could feel the warmth from the tears making their way up to your eyes in seeing him in such a state.
"You... You came back." He spoke softly.
"Of course I came back." You replied. "I couldn't let them... Oh, this is all my fault." You wrapped your arms him, giving him an embrace. "If only I have gotten here sooner."
"Maybe it's better... It's better this way."
You looked at him and shook your head. "Don't say that." You slightly smiled, trying to reassure him. "You'll be all right."
Vegeta coughed.
"We're together now. Everything's going to be fine, you'll see." Your voice choked, bringing your hand back to his furry cheek. You wanted to cry. You didn't want any of this to happen especially not to him.
Vegeta reached his hand, caressing your cheek once again. "At least... I got to see you one last time."
The tears escaped your eyes, as Vegeta drew his last breath with his hand slowly falling from your cheek. You covered your mouth as more heavy tears fell from your eyes, shaking your head not wanting to believe that he was gone. "No! No!" You wrapped your arms around him. "Please! Please! Please don't leave me." You pleaded, losing your eyes and crying onto his chest, whispering "I love you."
The final petal from the glowing rose fell. Losing its glow.
The three, ChiChi, Kakarot, and Bardock, looked down in sorrow for losing their dearest master, yet friend. Kakarot embraced ChiChi as she softly released her own tears.
