ʙᴇᴀᴜᴛʏ Qᴜᴇᴇɴ, ᴘʟᴇᴀꜱᴇ ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ʙᴇ ᴍᴇᴀɴ

The days to pass were glum. It was as if you had never met her, the unbelievably beautiful third year who you had no idea even existed until about a week or so ago. You were ashamed to even think it but it was true, you just wished you could've known her longer and done more with her, even if it was just as friends.

You wanted to make her happy and make her feel pretty. You longed to make her laugh and adore the sound of her voice every single day, she was so attractive and so many people knew it. She had bewitched so many people with only a glance and you were one of those pathetic people to fall for her.

It was serious for you though. You wanted to say that your love was justified and special because it was real and you had never felt like this for anyone else before but you didn't feel like you could. School was a mix of black and white, dull and boring and whenever you saw her, it was bright.

It was so blinding that you had to look away despite how much your legs were itching to just run to her and capture her in your hands. You just wanted to capture her heart but you knew it wasn't an easy feat. Love was special and it was more than just a four letter word and to you, love was everything. Love was nothing to joke about, you were serious about it - therefore you were serious about Kiyoko Shimizu.

The only troubling thing about this was the fact that it didn't matter if you risked everything for her. Nothing meant anything so long as her heart remained unwavered towards you. If she didn't see you in the way you saw her then it was meaningless. You wouldn't let her love you if she didn't truly love you as much as you did. You wouldn't allow yourself to love her as much as you knew you could if her heart refused to beat for you and you alone.

That's why you walked away at school.

It's why you escaped her each time you noticed her coming to you. Any other time and you'd be ecstatic to have the stunning girl coming to you but you knew you had to give your heart a break. It didn't help that the memory of her rejecting your bento never stopped replaying in your mind.

Why did this happen?

Why must the pain be so immense, coming in all directions when you only wanted to give your heart to another?

Despite how much she called your name, you couldn't face her and it hurt you. It hurt when you caught a glimpse of her saddened face, her amazingly stunning eyes that used to light up at you were now facing the ground in defeat and you wanted to scream because of the agony it made you feel inside. You had no idea what to do because your heart felt weakened while your mind stayed intact, forcing you to let your heart heal.

The embarrassment was all to hard to get over but you knew you had to let her have it her way.

It was why she stood before you, now, at the end of the day where three third years stood a couple of meters away. You recognised them, Daichi stood defiantly with Sugawara and Asahi as well and Shimizu; the girl you admired wholeheartedly stood before you with pink cheeks and you were so tempted to tease her about it.

You wanted to hug her and hold her hand and you wanted to walk her home, damn you wanted to walk her home.

"Uh Shimizu-san.."

"Please.. call me Kiyoko-san from now on.." Amazed, she saw your eyes glowing and froze, waiting for the anticipated hug but it didn't happen, you almost smiled - you really wanted to smile but you couldn't forget what she said to you.

"Ok-Okay Ki-Ki-Kiyo-..." In an attempt to escape from her unwavering eyes, you closed yours and the word fell from your lips pleasantly,

"Kiyoko-san.."

She took in a breath and your eyelids lifted to see her, the image of her watching you with her mouth slightly open and her cheeks as pink as your bow - it was hypnotising.

"I'm sorry.. about what happened, I di- I didn't know what to say so I.. well I refused because I was too ha-happy.." She looked down and you weren't sure if you had heard her properly. After watching her lips move only seconds ago, you still had to clarify that it wasn't a dream.

"I'm sorry?"

"I've never had anyone do that for me - when I really wanted it to happen, I've uh.. I haven't felt this way before so when.. when I was happy about it, it sort of scared me.."

"Okay..."

She seemed to slump at the sight of your stoic face, eyes wide with shock and the lack of movement wasn't enough to motivate her to keep going despite being supported by the three boys behind her, "I'm sorry I'-I'll just go-" She turned to leave and it shook you back to her when your feet moved instantaneously.

"No!"

She flinched and you were shocked to find how fast you had moved, her arm was in your grasp, pulling her into you and you freaked out midway as your head almost collided with her. Instead of butting heads, you chose to connect lips.

'I'm sure if you mean that much to her, she'll come around.'

'Does she really mean that much to you?'

'Be wary of her feelings as well, Kiyoko-san.'

The next day, the doors of the gym opened and this time the team was met with the sight of a girl with an amazing smile glowing on her face, Tanaka and Nishinoya immediately recognised you and almost faltered because of your beauty. They knew their mission and remained to themselves when Kiyoko jogged towards you.

You surprised her by grabbing her hand, entwining her fingers with yours and you didn't hesitate to rub the pad of your thumb over her hand. It calmed you and it brought chills to the magnetic girl with you. She didn't look at you but you still smiled, "Ah.. Look at our cute manager!"

"Waah~ Kiyoko-san's turning red!"

"Boke Hinata why do you have to yell all the time!"

"You're yelling too, Bakayama!"

Sugawara walked to you and Daichi followed, both of them smiling when Kiyoko blushed at the attention, "Kiyoko-san, you look happy now."

"I take it that both of you are okay now?" Daichi gave you a look, smirking a little when you smiled, squeezing her hand when you suddenly felt protective of her, pulling her even closer to you, "Of course! Nothing can break us apart!"

"I-.."

You fell silent when her angelic voice met your ears, "I'll treasure [Name]-san.. as my friend." She fidgeted and you squealed internally, choosing to ignore the word, 'friend.'

"We'll take a break!"

The team escalated to the bench and Kiyoko quickly pulled you along causing you to yelp in surprise, "Sorry, I forgot I was-.." Her eyes fell to her hand, intact with yours and she slowly let go, jogging off to get the water bottles and towels when you followed on your own. Daichi and Sugawara found themselves on each side of you and introduced you to the team when they were all settled together.

You learned all their names and they yours. You smiled at them and felt giddy at the thought of making so many friends by having Kiyoko with you, this stunning girl that you absolutely adored.

They spoke so casually, arguing and talking and laughing together and it felt so natural to laugh with them. Hinata and Kageyama bickered but more than that, they both argued with Tsukishima. Yamaguchi stayed with Tsukishima and both of them often got teased by Tanaka and Nishinoya who both loved being called 'Senpai' by their kouhais and you laughed with Kiyoko with you, always next to her as she always found her way next to you.

"The team is very loud and boisterous." You listened and paid attention to only her, smiling at the way her eyes seemed so calm and caring when she looked at them, "Look at me, Kiyoko-san."

She obliged quickly and you giggled, "That's better." She was quiet until you nodded for her to continue, "They aren't all connected now but I believe they have potential, I can't wait until they're at their best. And we have Ukai-san to help us too, he's the Grandson of Ukai-sensei." When the look of awe hadn't left your face, she smiled slightly, bashfully and continued, "He led Karasuno to nationals. He was the reason Karasuno used to be a powerhouse school but he was soon hospitalised."

"Oh, so now he have Ukai-san, is he good?"

"Don't talk about me as if I'm not here!" You looked at him, nodding monotonously when you turned back to this fascinating girl with you, watching her again without a care for how embarrassed she was when you couldn't help melt inside because of how adorable it was.

"What is it?"

She watched the smile on your face brighten, "You're so gorgeous, Kiyoko-san."

"Hey, how come I've never seen you around?" Tanaka raced forward with the other second-year boy with him, they watched your closeness with their manager and were unable to decipher how to feel about it, "Oh, I've always kept to myself. I never had many friends or participated in anything. At lunch and recess, I just sit under a tree outside by myself with a book or maybe with my phone... An-eh?"

Tanaka stared with water in his eyes, Nishinoya did too and you froze, your eyes finding Kiyoko-sans for help when you thought you had said something wrong, "Nevermind them... They're just like that."

"[Name]-san~!"

"Kiyoko-san, take care of her!"

"[Name]-san, take care of our precious Kiyoko-san!"

They were so teary and happy for you, for the both of you and it caused you to wonder so much. It made you insecure and you almost felt vulnerable when watching your favourite girl.
