Sorairo is serene and quiet when she meets strangers since she sometimes has problems with trusting people easily. Though, once you do know her, then she's very loyal, lovable, and pretty overprotective. She doesn't really deal with people who have anger issues since she's more of a laidback and calm type of person, but she does have a really bad temper and isn't afraid to lash out when being provoked. Around her adoptive daughters, Sorairo shows more of her self confidence and motherly love.

Rainbow Breathing was derived from Water Breathing, which mimics the colors of an actual rainbow and the flowing movements. It also helps utilize and improve the user's enhanced eyesight. Sorairo's mother originally created the technique for herself since she failed to use Water Breathing when she was being trained by her former master, Sakonji Urokodaki.

The user propels forward and delivers a fast and accurate thrust used for offense and defense.

Orange Whirl
The user flips backwards and swings their sword with their body movement to create a wheel that is used to deflect incoming attacks.

Yellow Flower Dance
The user swings their sword at the target from all over the place to stun them before unleashing a flurry of nine consecutive attacks that flow and weave in on themselves that mimics a graceful yet deadly dance.

Green Rebirthing Rain

This form is the most strongest yet dangerous one! The user propels forward and releases a singular slash of multiples colors, forming them into a huge green Japanese dragon and unleashing a number of consecutive slashes in a flowing and graceful motion. This technique is capable of making the world for the user all the better. Now, their eyesight is far better. In addition, every chance for a move is revealed, bright rainbow butterflies showing which move to use to it's best extent. During the form, it raises the user's kinetic vision to its maximum, while using this specific technique the user perceives the world as if it were slow motion. Usage of the technique, however, is highly dangerous, as the tremendous strain of the eyes could cause blood vessels to rupture and lead to partial or complete blindness. This technique is still usable if the user only has one fully functional eye.

Backstory
Sorairo was born the youngest in her family. She lived in a small house with loving parents and older brother named Tamashii. She was known for selling her best homemade tricolored dango to earn money since the family was poor, but at least they were living a happy life.

Her mother, Midorime, was part of the Demon Slayer Corps that she was known for being the first Rainbow Hashira! Truth to be told, Midorime was the student of her former master who taught her Water Breathing, Sakonji Urokodaki. Unfortunately, she failed to master any forms and grew angry at herself, but eventually she made a new technique for herself, which she named it Rainbow Breathing.

Sorairo's father, Kenzo, was the known for being the best author of romance novels. He may not get paid during his job, but he was at least happy that many people enjoyed reading his books. As for Sorairo's brother, Tamashii, he just wants to find somebody who he desired to spend the rest of his life with, but many girls in their hometown found him quite odd because of his adventurous yet humble nature.

However, the golden days of Sorairo's childhood were then shattered into shards when she'd encountered the only thing that left her emotionally scarred for life. During one spring season, Sorairo and Tamashii were out running errands while both of their parents were home. They have been out in the market almost all day that time went by fast and the sunset was already over. Seeing that it was already late, Tamashii immediately grabbed Sorairo's hand and ran back home so their parents won't worry.

When they arrived back home, the two siblings were frozen from the sheer of fear when a mysterious man walked out of their house with blood all over his suit and face, his piercing red eyes glaring at them before walking away from their parents dead bodies. From the sheer rage, Tamashii grabbed the nearest shard from the broken window and charged at the man, who just stopped walking and ruthlessly used his sharp claws to kill the boy before moving on.

Sorairo hugged Tamashii's dead body close to her and sobbed loudly in pain and grief, hoping that this was all a bad dream, but it was a harsh reality. However, she immediately froze when a random yet ruthless demon came out of nowhere and tried attacking her, but Sorairo was quick enough to move out of the way from the claws of this creature. Before the demon could try again, a stranger immediately beheaded the creature with a sword and saving the girl's life.

Sorairo watched with wide eyes as the stranger introduced himself as the former Water Hashira, Sakonji Urokodaki. Hearing the name, she'd immediately recognized that he was also Midorime's master! After explaining what happened, Urokodaki took Sorairo back to his house and introduced her to his two students; Giyu and Sabito. The four of them trained together, but Sorairo wasn't able to have enough potential to master Water Breathing.

During Final Selection, Sorairo had to witness Sabito getting killed by the hand demon, which triggered the memories of her family being murdered in cold blood. She tried using Rainbow Breathing on the beast, but it got away before she could even lay a sword on its neck. Giyu and Sorairo managed to pass Final Selection, but they had to go back home as new members of the Demon Slayer Corps without their friend. Some years later, Sorairo continued on fighting demons as she slowly raised her rank higher than before, which made the leader of the corps officially named her as the new Rainbow Hashira.

Overtime, while she was walking through a small local town, Sorairo then bumped into two children who looked lost. She knelt down and introduced herself with a gentle voice, though the eldest black haired girl seemed skeptical at first, but eventually introduced herself as Miyu. Seeing another girl behind her, Sorairo then asked if they're looking for their parents, but finding out that the two girls were orphans, the older woman immediately took them to the Rainbow Estate. She made sure that the girls were bathed and fed with warm food before giving clean clothes.

Since she hasn't heard any of their last names, Sorairo decided that she'll give them one, which is Fujinoki. Miyu then pointed out that her younger sister never had a name when she was born, so Sorairo smiled and declared that the other girl's first name was Umeko. Ever since, while it was her duty to protect others and raise the Fujinoki Sisters, Sorairo swore that she'd get revenge against the Demon King for taking away her parents and Tamashii.
