Personality
Ari is someone who loves smiling because it's how she shows her compassion, bravery, and outgoing character. With her smile, she can easily melt everyone's hearts due to how pure, kind, and very genuine her soul has become. When meeting new people, Ari tends to be very shy and soft spoken, but doesn't mind having company. When she was younger, Ari used to be very stubborn, tentative, and overly protective of her older sister. However, behind her smile, Ari held a very burning sadness, grief, and anger that it had pained her to bottle it all up so nobody would worry about her. She may be very bright and outgoing in public, but behind closed doors, she would waste her tears from mourning the losses of the people who loved and cared for her.

Flaws

Reason why joining the Demon Slayer Corps?
Ari joined because her heart went ablaze after enduring the loss of her older sister. Rain Breathing

What was it derived from?
Rain Breathing was derived from Water Breathing, which mimics mostly raindrops, movements that acts like flowing water, and the stormy clouds that's inspired by both Mist Breathing and Thunder Breathing. It also helps utilize and improve the user's enhanced hearing. Ari's father was the first person to create this technique since he didn't have the potential to master Water Breathing.

How many forms?
9 forms (10 including Final Form)

Explain forms?

First Form
Flashing Storms
The user dashes towards the target in a blur and then delivers a singular slash that effortlessly decapitates the target's head.

Second Form
Thundering Oceans
The user changes the grip onto their sword and dashes forward, delivering a fast and accurate thrust that is used for both attack and defense.

Third Form
Maneuvering Raindrops
The user propels forward and swings their sword in a flowing yet arched motion, using their body weight to gracefully create a wheel of raindrops that acts as flowing water. It is used only two ways. One way will be protecting the user from higher grounds, while the other way will be slicing off the target's arms from behind/front.

Fourth Form
Rippling Waters, Thrust of Lightnings
The user tightens their grip onto their sword before delivering a singular yet powerful thrust, slowing down the momentum of anyone or anything if they get hit, while several spiritual circles of rippling water that resembles each stabbing movement deflects any attacks.

Fifth Form
Calm Storm, Blessed Skies
The user leaps highly into the air and performs an elegant twirl, tightening the grip onto the sword before diving down and decapitating the target in a gentle and singular strike, causing little no pain while light rain falls down from the sky. This form will only be used if the target willingly surrenders.

Sixth Form
Levitating Waters, Exploding Dance
The user rushes forward turbulently and unleashes numerous flowing water slashes from all directions while creating levitating bubbles all around their enemy. Afterwards, they leap away from them and cause all the bubbles to pop, releasing a heavy pressured burst of water spewing in all directions, dealing massive damage to their opponent.

Seventh Form
Flashing Lights, Echoing Roars
The user runs with ultimate speed in a zigzagging pattern to generate enough strength before delivering quick and shallow cuts all over the target's body, leaving very deep gashes from multiple areas that causes the target to easily bleed out before the user gives away the remaining strength to deliver a singular yet powerful slash to decapitate their head, causing lightning to flash bright in the sky.

Eighth Form
Tsunami, Dancing Sadness
The user propels forward and gracefully uses their body weight to twist and bend their arms, executing a powerful slash in a spiral pattern that releases a whirlpool of rainstorms, which also winds up in the target's body in only one slice if they get hit by the storm.

Ninth Form
Water Butterfly, Poisonous Showers
The user lunges at their opponent before unleashing a barrage of straight short thrusts with their sword, ended with one powerful thrust that launches their opponent away and onto their back. The user then leaps into the air while transforming into a gigantic butterfly shaped water, before diving from it and stabbing their blade straight through their opponent and into the ground, injecting a large amount of poison. After ten seconds, the target's veins turns into a dark blue and will bleed out from the poison and suffer an agonizing death.

Final Form
Anger, Revenge of the Storms
This form is the strongest yet dangerous one! Dark clouds of storming rain expands over the large area as drastic changes occur to the rhythm of the user's movements, leaving the target confused and vulnerable to detect due to the sounds and flashes of the storm's thunder. Within this space, the user seems to move quite slowly on appearing through the clouds, but their speed increases exponentially when hidden behind them, leaving opponents with no idea of what might hit them next. This form allows the user to increase the speed of their attacks, but unfortunately decreases the strength in their legs. It also dilates the vessels from the added flowing pressure to the muscles (which also makes the veins more visible than before). However, the biggest downfalls of this form will cause the user to be unable to keep their breathing steady and will permanently go deaf in one ear.

Backstory
Ari was born the middle child of the Mizuake Family. She was raised in a wealthy household where some members of the family were known for being the rich and famous ribbon dancers. She'd always wanted to follow the bloodline's tradition since she loved dancing, but at the same time, she'd never wanted to be a dancer just for the money and fame.

Her mother, Nagisa, was the great example of being incredibly successful and talented in her ribbon dances. Everybody had fallen for her beauty that some women grew jealous, but the entire town had respected her. Her father, Shimizu, was the former Hashria of Rain Breathing, which was the personal technique created for himself since he'd never had the potential to master Water Breathing that he was supposed to learn from his former teacher, Sakonji Urokodaki.

Her older sister, Ahmya, who was complete rebellious against the family's tradition, had chose to follow her own path to become someone else who fights. Nagisa grew against the eldest daughter's wishes to fight, but Shimizu accepted the decision and planned to train Ahmya in learning about Rain Breathing.

As Ahmya was being trained by Shimizu, Ari continued on practicing with her ribbon dances alongside Nagisa. However, she felt like there was something more in life than just having to follow her family's expectations of living through their tradition. After she tried convincing Nagisa about that she wanted to do something different for herself, Ari would just stay quiet when her mother only waved her hand in a dismissive gesture, which proved that it would not happen.

Overtime, Nagisa got pregnant with another child a few months later, resulting her having to retire from ribbon dancing. Shimizu may continued training Ahmya, but he was always there to help his wife through her pregnancy. Ari didn't really grew fond of having another sibling since she'd considered Ahma as her first friend. Eventually, a baby boy was born, but unfortunately, Nagisa had passed away from blood loss. Shimizu mourned for the loss of his wife, but most of the time he's been shedding tears of joy from the sight of the baby boy.

Ahmya grew very fond of the newborn boy, but Ari didn't really seem to have any thoughts about him. Finally, they named the boy Kaisen. Ever since Nagisa had passed, it became a struggle for the Mizuake Family to continue living without her. Shimizu has been going on longer missions, leaving Ahma in charge of Ari and Kaisen. During one autumn night while Shimizu was out on his usual mission, Ahmya was preparing some dinner while Ari was bonding with Kaisen. She was slowly starting to grow fond of the little boy.

However, a loud banging on the door startled both younger children that Kaisen had begun crying from how the loud noise scared him. Ahmya immediately stopped what she was doing and immediately went towards the two siblings to protect them when the door swung open. Four different demons smirked and had them surrounding as Kaisen cried louder from seeing unfamiliar faces. Before the demons could get closer, Shimizu eventually came back and sliced off their arms, telling his children to run and hide. Ari refused to leave as she begged Shimizu to come with them, but Ahmya held Kaisen in one arm while she used her other hand to drag the young girl out of the house and make a run for it.

There was no signs of Shimizu following them as Ari struggled to get out of Ahmya's grasp, constantly arguing with her that family won't leave each other behind, but that took a huge halt when agonized screams could be heard. Unfortunately, Shimizu has been killed by the four demons, who were also known as the clones of Upper Rank 4, Hantengu.

Day after day, the two sisters traveled while they struggled finding some baby food for Kaisen. However, they'd ran into a different stranger when they were walking through a small town. The stranger introduced himself as the Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka. He didn't really say anything to the two sisters, but he can tell that they've been traveling. Without any second thoughts, he took them back to his estate and gave them some food to feast on along with clean clothes. Ahmya thanked him for helping them, but Giyu only gave her a small nod before walking off for his mission. Ari may have lost both of her parents,, but at least she still had Ahmya and Kaisen.

A few years later, Ahmya was currently named the newest Rain Hashira since she was the first to get the position in the Demon Slayer Corps. She then remembered that she had a journal written about Shimizu's training and the history of Rain Breathing before she'd asked Ari if she can train her to become a demon slayer. The girl grew a bit skeptical about having to fight, but if that was the only way to help find a better future for Kaisen, then she'd finally accept her sister's offer to be trained.

While Giyu was keeping an eye on Kaisen, Ahmya had Ari do basic lessons on improving her body movements and exercising her arms in order to build up more strength. As Shimizu once learned when he used Rain Breathing, it takes a lot of strength and concentration to strive for perfection in this technique. Ari had to waste three nights of sleep to achieve the success in her training without letting Ahmya know.

Overtime, Ari managed to complete all of her training sessions for three months, which made Ahmya very proud of her success. When she was sent off to Final Selection, Ari couldn't help but cower in fear as she was completely scared of meeting her fate in death. However, she managed to pass and become the new member of the corps. However, during her first mission, Ahmya was tragically wounded by the same demons who killed Shimizu. Just as she'd made it to where the battle took place, it was already too late.

The only last words Ahmya had told Ari was to never extinguish the smile that she loved to see and avenge their family before her last breath. Ari mourned for the loss of her sister, but Kaisen was their to comfort her while Giyu only patted her head. A few weeks later, Ari managed to take the position of the Rain Hashira to honor Ahmya and becoming the next master of the Rain Estate. Ever since, Ari swore to herself that she will avenge her family and take care of Kaisen. If she meets Hantengu again, she won't hold back!
