Nijihana is the most sweetest and innocent young girl. She loves flowers, animals, and nature, so this proves her kindest heart and purest soul. She also loves seeking out to inner peace for other to experience as she hates violence and seeing others fight. However, Nijihana can be extremely aggressive and sometimes violent whenever people misuses her kindness or disrespects her friends. She got her temper from her mother, though she never shows it around everyone who she has cared and respected around her.

Spring Breathing derives from the combination of Water Breathing and Flower Breathings, which mimics the traditional flowers and rain of spring season, and it also replicates with the user's movements, techniques, and abilities. Most, if not all, known techniques and forms are a combination of graceful attacks that focus on agility. It also enhances and utilizes one's vision, albeit at the possibility cost of their eyesight.

The user does one graceful slash using all their body weight aiming for the neck.

Second Form
Scorching Sunbeam
The user releases several rotating sword slashes that deflects incoming physical attacks.

Third Form
Light Rain
The user changes the grip on their sword and decapitates the opponent in a singular and gentle flowing strike, causing little no pain. Rain seems to immediately fall after the form is performed. This will only be used if the target willingly surrenders.

Fourth Form
Striking Trees

Backstory
Nijihana was born the only daughter of two previous demon slayers. Her parents were none other than Yasu Ayama Moriko and Kowareta Hoseki Ohimesama. Yep, five years later after the final battle against Muzan and the remaining Upper Moon demons, the two survivors retired from the Demon Slayer Corps and ended up getting married. During the time before their retirement, Yasu was named the Rain Pillar while Kowareta was the Spring Pillar.

Nijihana wasn't like the other kids her age during childhood. She would always be around nature where she'd discovered inner peace and love within herself and everything around her. She even showed Kowareta the life of nature and how to love herself since she was the only one alongside Yasu to know about her mother's temper. Kowareta never believed that everyone should deserve love or mercy for everything that she had experienced, but she learnt to accept her inner peace for Nijihana's sake.

Whenever it was night, Nijihana would always sit in the flower garden and ask Yasu about his days of protecting others, which he would always tell stories of how he grew sympathetic for the demons and how he'd met Kowareta. After reading Yasu's book of his life as a demon slayer, Nijihana began to grow inspired that she wanted to become just like both of her parents. Instead of fighting demons with hate, she was going to do her best with trying to help them and other humans find their inner peace.

When Nijihana asked for her parents' permission to train her on becoming a demon slayer, Kowareta immediately refused and told her that it was too dangerous and that she would find another dream to fulfill, while Yasu would grow a little skeptical with his daughter's wish. A few days later during summer, Nijihana stole Yasu's sword and managed to slice a large branch of the pine tree, which shocked both parents from seeing her newfound strength. After she had managed to convince them, Kowareta then took the opportunity to teach her Spring Breathing.

Month after month, Nijihana had good capability of her strength from how much she'd swung the wooden sword, but she was having major difficulty with mastering Kowareta's version of Spring Breathing. No matter how much she tried, she just didn't have enough potential, which had highly both angered and disappointed her mother. Yasu, on the other hand, would occasionally have to help Nijihana with some basic lessons of keeping her breath steady and quiet to help focus on her mind and how she moves her body.

When spring season arrived, Nijihana stole Kowareta's actual sword and snook out of the house to the cherry blossom forest so she can try again with mastering Spring Breathing. It grew a bit difficult, but before she could lose hope, she then discovered something that would help benefit her movements and strength.

Thanks to how graceful she'd moved her body, the young girl created her own version of her mother's breathing technique. After finally achieving her success with using her new way to master Spring Breathing, Nijihana immediately returned home and told both her parents about her discovery. Yasu grew very proud and proud with her new ability, while Kowareta grew a little skeptical yet impressed.

Once she was ready after every training, Kowareta decided to send Nijihana to Final Selection, but made her promise to be safe and not die. Yasu grew very scared from the thought of losing their own daughter, but he trusted that she'll be okay. During the seven-day test, Nijihana managed to slay some demons without using her mother's new and improved breathing technique, but when she came upon a rather large demon that looked more like a snake, she used only three forms of Spring Breathing.

During the second day of the test, she'd ran into another girl who was the same age as her. She had fair skin, long platinum blonde hair, icy blue eyes, and she wore a darker blue yukata with a light blue butterfly hair-ornament. The other girl introduced herself as Miyuki Fuyuko, who offered Nijihana to work together as partners to pass Final Selection. During the rest of the test, the two girls became good friends and they found out that they have some things in common.

After Final Selection had passed, both Nijihana and Miyuki officially became new members of the Demon Slayer Corps, but sadly had to go their separate ways. Ever since, Nijihana grew more nervous whenever someone mentioned Miyuki, who was the first one to show kindness and compassion towards her when other people didn't during her childhood.

When Nijihana came home with a few minor injuries, Yasu began breaking down into tears and brought the girl into a tight embrace, while Kowareta was trying to hide the fact that she was proud of her becoming the part of the Demon Slayer Corps. During her first mission, Nijihana ran into Miyuki in the middle of battling a male snow-demon, which she'd effortlessly defeated with the first form of Spring Breathing. After thanking her, Miyuki gave Nijihana a green butterfly hairpin with some fake flowers attached to it, which she'd gladly accepted.

Ever since, Nijihana swore to bring peace to others and work her way through every night of fighting demons and praying for their souls to be reborn full with their inner peace. Kowareta may not loved showing mercy and kindness towards demons, but Yasu supported their daughter's merciful personality. Nijihana will make them proud of her achievements.
