Personality
Icarus is the most kindest and calming young man. He may appear as someone who loves smiling and having a positive attitude, but over his years growing up, he tends to be very aggressive that he had a huge temper and a Tsundere attitude. He changed his personality into a positive and friendly demeanor after Sanayuki's death, which was her wish for him to live on while never getting rid of his smile.

What was it derived from?
Angel Breathing was derived from Wind Breathing, which focuses on concealment and speed. Angel Breathing is focused on the concept of religiousness and the human interpretation of the heavens, across varieties of different cultures and ideals. It was made to gain a reputation of being more powerful or more "righteous" than Wind Breathing. The technique was previously used by the Angel Hashira, Sanayuki Tenshi, and now it's passed down to Icarus.

First Form
Jonah's Ordeal
The user launches up to the sky and dashes towards their opponent, once they get close enough to the opponent they will perform a high-speed dash too fast to be seen by their opponent, while simultaneously slashing them everywhere, neautralizing their body and perhaps even causing them to faint.

Second Form
Divine Archangel Slash
The user launches away from their opponent and strikes mid-air with their weapon in a quick fashion, sending shockwaves of light towards the opponent that may also blind anyone close by.

Third Form
Heavenlight Citadel
The user dashes quickly around their opponent, reflecting light from their sword to confuse their opponent before gathering force and momentum, finally dealing a massive slash to the opponent's neck.

Fourth Form
Pillar of Judgement
The user waves their sword around them, creating a huge glimmering angelic aura. The user then pierces all energy points of the opponents body to stop them from using any attacks against you, completely disabling their abilities.

Fifth Form

Final Form
Absolute Judgment, Hedge of Enlightenment
The user focuses their breathing, and starts dashing in a variety of directions, gaining momentum and strength. This increases and enhances their bloodflow, dramatically makes their strength, speed, agility and durability skyrocket, therefore increasing their attack potency. However, this can only last for one large blow to the enemy. It can only hold for a minute because the users body will not be accustomed to this type of strength. Dealing this blow can very well cause them extreme amounts of pain and harm to their body. This may even result in the death of the opponent.

Backstory
Icarus was born the youngest in the Tenshi Family. He had two parents who were both demon slayers, and an older sister named Sanayuki who had to look after him while they would leave to protect many lives. During most days living in his childhood, he did nothing but help Sanayuki do some daily chores, which is cleaning up their house and going to the market to buy food. The family may be poor, but at least they lived happily.

After their parents, Mitsuki and Sayuri, had retired from the Demon Slayer Corps, things grew very rough. Icarus had always strived to be just like them in the future, but after hearing the news that they won't be part of the corps any longer, he'd slowly grew very skeptical about their decision since he was afraid that the demons would break into their home.

A few weeks later, Mitsuki and Sayuri began teaching Sanayuki the basics of becoming a demon slayer, while Icarus stayed in the house helping with cleaning up the house. He grew a little jealous of his sister being trained, but he still accepted her decision to follow their parents' footsteps. What did made him want to reconsider is that Sayuri had began teaching Sanayuki the mastery of Angel Breathing.

It wasn't the case though. His life then changed when he'd encountered the Demon King himself. While Sanayuki was out running some errands since she was old enough, Mitsuki was chopping wood for their furnace so Sayuri can prepare some food for dinner. Icarus was outside gathering some herbs, but his keen nose caught the strange smell of a demon. Quickly getting the herbs, he immediately dashed back inside the house and hid inside the family closet, which made both parents worried.

Unknowingly to them, the strange man busted the door and came in uninvited. Icarus held in his breath and the urge to let out his terrified sobs when the man immediately killed Mitsuki and Sayuri. Upon hearing him leave and Sanayuki returning to the gruesome scene, Icarus grew hesitant before coming out of the closet and witnessing the only thing that tore his life apart. After reuniting with his sister, the two children then buried their parents' bodies and took everything they needed to leave and find help.

Day after day, they traveled by foot. Icarus, being someone who is very protective especially for someone at the young age, made sure that nothing came out of nowhere and kept Sanayuki safe as they continued their journey. However, they'd accidentally ran into somebody, who happened to be the Flower Hashira and her younger sister. They'd took them in and made sure that the two children were safe. Icarus didn't seem to trust the Kocho Sisters very easily, but Sanayuki appreciated them.

Overtime, Kanae began training Sanayuki while Icarus tried getting along with Shinobu, which did worked out well since they happened to share the same hatred for demons. After finding out that Kanae was killed by an uppermoon demon, he was very surprised to catch the scent of anger coming from both Shinobu and Sanayuki. After having a deep thought about becoming a demon slayer himself, Icarus made that choice and asked for them to train him. While Sanayuki was out for Final Selection, he tried his absolute hardest with mastering Angel Breathing that Sayuri had created, but was having major difficulties.

A few years later, after some help from Shinobu, Icarus managed to master his mother's technique along with the basic skills of a sword. When it was time, he was now sent to Final Selection along with Kanao. He managed to slay any demons that tried to sneak up on Kanao while she did her own thing, but he didn't want to risk using Angel Breathing because he thought he'll do it at the wrong time and will mess up. After passing Final Selection, he is officially the new member of the Demon Slayer Corps.

After turning 15 years old, Icarus managed to rise his rank to Tsuchinoe, just a rank above Kanao, which was also the same day that Sanayuki was named as the new Angel Hashira. Every mission, they would be paired up and would have to work together, but what made Icarus very angry and skeptically opposed was Sanayuki's sympathy for demons and how she wished for them to become friends with the humans, which lead them arguing once returning to the Butterfly Mansion.

While Sanayuki believed that demons would live in peace and deserve a second chance in the afterlife, Icarus found it very absurd and believed that demons are nothing but monsters with no feelings. However, during the final war between Muzan, his torn him apart from his crow telling him the news that Sanayuki got killed. He immediately made his way towards the location where the fight was taking place, tears streaming down his face as backup followed him. When they arrived, it was too late.

As he sobbed his heart out while hugging his sister's haori, he can feel her Sanayuki's warmth of her spirit hugging him that he can barely hear her last words of never getting rid of the smile she loved seeing. Ever since, he has been wearing her haori while his fiery personality changed into a more friendly and loving demeanor along with having a smile plastered on his face.
