thick skin

Vulgar words don't affect me anymore,
The ricochet off the thick skin that I have acquired over several years.
I am not one to cry over pitiful comments given from another flawed human being, who thinks that they have the authority to maltreat me.
They can go fuck themselves if they think they can hurt me.
