second encounter: a short story

I unblocked you,
You viewed my profile,
Later you followed me,
Then messaged me,
My heart dropped,
My soul ached,
My breathing increased,
And my mind was slipping into insanity.
You regret everything you've done to me,
And that's good.
I'm glad you do.
I'm glad you realized you fucked up twice,
And how much you've hurt me.
I've changed,
And you realized that.
But it feels like an old friendship between us, nothing more.
It brings me closure.
And once again,
I've faced my past.
