I don't want to die

I lived with a burdening pain,
And I have to admit it drove me insane,
But with that pain,
I had so much to gain,
I gained some amazing friends,
I wrote all my pain down with pens,
I wrote all my sins,
I wrote for all my ken.
I wrote for the ones who need it.
Because I've been through hell and I will admit it.
I tried killing myself,
And each time it didn't go as well,
I'm still here and I can tell,
Tell you what it is like to feel like dying,
And looking for a way out.
But here I am telling my story,
Through lines of my poetry,
And I can tell you,
That you aren't alone as you presume.
I'm here to tell you,
That I don't want to die and neither should you.
