I care about you: a slam poem

"I care about you"
That's what they all say to me.
But I have no clue on how they could care about me.
Is it because I'm actually a caring person?
Or is it that you want to protect me at all costs?
Why do you care about me?
Because we are friends, lovers or family?
What is the key motivation for you to care about a single lifeform like me?
What are the reasons I gave you to care about me?
"I care about you"
Means a lot of things actually.
That's why I ask "why do you care about me?"
I want to know more than "because I love you" or "you're my friend"
I want all of you to go into depth on how you care about me.
Please, make me understand.
So, answer my question now,
