falling again

These emotions that manifest inside me,
They punch me from the inside,
They scream in my ears and make my body tremble.
I believe I'm pathetic for letting them wrap me in their arms and whisper intrusive words into my ears.
But I can't control them,
They are the metaphorical figure I can't get rid of.
And for me to describe what they do to me,
It's simply like falling again into the abyss that you know all too well.
