It's the day of Family day and students at Auradon Prep don't have classes because they took their time to set up for this special day. Adrielle wore a beautiful blue dress that hugs her body and makes her light brown eyes pop. She's wearing white heels that show off her long slender legs. She puts her long brown hair in a side curl that frames her face nicely and has light makeup.  

Adrielle walks around the gardens with a clipboard in her right arm. She's in charge of making sure that the royal families arrived safely in the gardens and that everything is in order for them. She stands to the side greeting everyone politely with a smile on her face showing families where to go. She hears her name and turns around seeing Jay walking towards her with a smile on his face. 

" Jay!" Adrielle smiled. " Glad, you could make it to Family Day" She gives him a hug. " I know your father can't come but you'll get along well with my family" She gives him a soft kiss on the lips.

Jay kissed Adrielle back and blushed. 

" I hope your folks like me" He looks at her with worried eyes. 

" They will" Adrielle reassures him. " Look! They are here" She smiled when she sees her parents arriving at the gardens. 

Jay turns around and gulps when he sees Queen Belle and King Adam looking around at the garden which is decorated for Family Day. He blushed letting Adrielle drag him towards her parents. 

Adrielle stands in front of her parents and smiled.

" Mom! Dad! I'm so happy that you two could make it" She lets go of Jay's hand. 

King Adam turns around and smiled when he sees his little girl. He pulls Adrielle in a hug not wanting to let her go. Adrielle blushed patting her father's back and glancing at her mother for help.

" Dear" Queen Belle speaks up.

King Adam continues to hug Adrielle. 

" Adam!" Queen Belle shouts a little which caused King Adam to let go of Adrielle. King Adam turns to Queen Belle who smiled at him.

Adrielle giggles knowing her mother is the only one who can tame him. She turns to Jay and takes his hand with hers. 

" Mom. Dad. I would like you to meet my boyfriend, Jay" She pulls Jay to her and looks at her parents. 

King Adam tensed up when Adrielle introduced her boyfriend to him. His eyes narrowed studying Jah intently. He's curious what his little girl sees in Jay and hopes he's not like Chad or Gaston. He doesn't want his little girl to be heartbroken. He would rather break the boy's bones instead. 

" Hello, Your Highness" Jay stood up straight looking at his girlfriend's parents in the eyes. " My name is Jay and I'm the son of Jafar" He introduced himself. " Even though my father has done a lot of bad things in the past. I don't wish to be like him" He turns to Adrielle and smiled. " I rather be happy than be miserable" He looks at Adrielle with loving eyes. 

While Jay and Adrielle continue to talk with Queen Belle and King Adam. Evie arrived at the event and smiled when she sees Chad. She was about to walk towards him but stopped when she sees Audrey with him. She watched them feeling her heart being cut in half because she's been crushing on Chad for a while. She turns around hiding her teary eyes and was about to leave when she hears her name. 

" Evie! Y-You're here!" A male voice speaks up.

Evie slowly turned her head seeing Doug walking towards her with a smile on his face. She quickly wipes her eyes and turns around smiling at Doug. 

" Hello, Doug" Evie greets him politely.

Doug stands in front of Evie and smiled. He noticed Evie's eyes were red but didn't say anything because he doesn't want to upset her.

" I heard that Headmistress Fairy Godmother let you and your friends talk to your parents on a video chat" Doug looks at her. 

Evie smiled.

" Yeah. It was nice. I love my mother dearly. She's the only one that tells me that I'm beautiful but now that she's not here with me. I don't know if I'm even beautiful" She looks passed Doug and stared at Chad. " Someone that I liked told me I was beautiful and yet...I'm not sure if what he said was true or not" She sighed sadly. 

Doug takes Evie's hand with his. 

" You are beautiful Evie" He smiled at her. " You have a beautiful heart. You are kind to those around you and you will do anything to make those around you be happy" He tells her.

Evie blushed. 

" Doug...." She whispered.

Her heart skipped a beat thinking that Doug is a sweetheart. She noticed Doug been there for her lately while Chad only brushes her off and ask her for help with his Chemistry homework. She smiled realizing that Doug is the true prince of her heart and not Chad. She squeezed Doug's hand lightly asking him if he wants to hang out with her. 

Doug blushed.

" S-Sure!" He smiled. 

Evie and Doug walked away towards the food both. 

Mal arrived at the event and looks around searching for Ben. She stands there deciding to wait for her boyfriend. She looks at everyone when she noticed an elderly lady walking towards her with a smile on her face.

" Hello, dear" The elderly lady greeted her politely.

Mal turns to the elderly lady and smiled.

" Hello, ma'am" She greets her politely. 

" You know you remind me of someone" The elderly lady tells her. " Have we met before?" She asked. 

Mal blinks wearing a confused expression on her face.

" Grandmother!" A female voice speaks up. 

Mal looks seeing Audrey walking towards them and stand next to the elderly lady. She blinks noticing a resemblance between them. 

" Audrey, my dear" The elderly lady smiled. " Do you know this young lady?" She asked.

Audrey glared at Mal.

She didn't like it that Mal is going out with Ben after they broke up. She can't help but think that Mal enchanted him to go out with her. 

" Yeah. She's the daughter of Maleficent" Audrey whispered to her grandma.

The elderly lady's eyes widened in surprise.

" What is she doing here?" She asked sounding mad. 

Mal stood still not sure what to say.

" Ma'am. What my mother did...I didn't do it" She tells her.

The elderly lady's eyes narrowed.

" Because of your mother!" She sneered. " I wasn't there to watch my daughter take her first step, say her first word, and be there for her when she needed me" Tears welled up in her eyes. " Instead, three fairies took care of my little girl" She cries.

Mal stared at her.

" Queen Leah!" A female voice speaks up.

Fairy Godmother arrived walking towards Queen Leah and stand by the elder woman's side. She looked at her with worried eyes. 

" Fairy Godmother, why did you bring her....here?" Queen Leah asked.

Ben finished talking to important figures of Auradon when he turns around seeing Mal being surrounded by everyone. He walks towards Mal when he sensed the air becoming tensed and stand by his girlfriend's side. 

" Queen Leah. I invited her here" Ben speaks up causing everyone to look at her. " She's not Maleficent" He tells her. " She may be her daughter but she isn't like her at all" He defends his girlfriend.

Mal turns to Ben looking at him with mix emotions. 

Chad decided to step in.

  " Bro. Ever since she and them arrived at Auradon. You changed" He tells him. " And look at your little sister. She's dating him" He sneered.  

Adrielle and Jay turned around staring at Chad.

" I never liked him" She growled. 

Chad looks at Mal.

" I suggest you and your friends leave Auradon!" He pushed Mal away from Ben.

Jay's eyes narrowed seeing Chad pushed Mal which caused her to fall to the ground. He walked towards them and punched Chad in the face in anger. 

" Didn't your mother teach you how to treat ladies with respect?" He asked with a small growl.

Chad wiped the small blood out of his mouth. He glared at Jay and punched him back which caused Jay to fall to the ground.

Adrielle's eyes widened.

" Jay!" She shouts.

Her eyes narrowed shaking in anger seeing Chad and Jay fighting against each other. Her eyes started to change color feeling her beast side showing itself since her mate is in danger. 

King Adam noticed his daughter's posture which is similar to the time when he witnessed Belle about to be eaten by wolves. It's the beast protective instinct when it comes to their mates being in danger.

" Adrielle!" He shouts. 

Adrielle runs towards the guys and with her inhuman strength. She picks Chad up and throws him towards the pond. She growls angrily glaring at everyone and pulling Jay towards her in a hug. 

" Everyone!" King Adam shouts. " Stay calm. Adrielle is only being protective of her mate" He speaks up. " Jay" He turns to Jay. " Reassure Adrielle that you are okay" He looks at him with a serious expression on his face. 

Jay nods his head.

" Adrielle" He speaks up.

Adrielle looks down at Jay.

" I'm okay" Jay smiled putting a hand on Adrielle's face. " He's gone and it just us now" He rubs Adrielle's right cheek with his thumb.

Adrielle started to calm down.

Her royal blue eyes changed into her brown ones.

Jay hugs Adrielle reassuring her that he's okay and whispering a thank you for putting Chad in the pond. 

Adrielle blushed hugging Jay close feeling relief to know that her boyfriend is okay. She hides her face against his neck taking in his scent which soothes her. She lets go of Jay but still hides her face on his neck feeling embarrassed about showing her beast self to everyone. She felt hands on her and soon she was lifted off of the ground. She shyly looks up realizing that Jay is carrying her. She blushed hugging Jay close who turned around and walked out of the event with Adrielle in his arms.
