Chapter Three

Wolfie's PoV

As soon I was sure that everything was silent for the night I made my escape. I found a navy blue cloak in the wardrobe and swung it on. I carefully sneak out of the room and down the hall. However I don't know where I'm going and I end in a room cluttered with books and tables. On one table sat a glimmering blue rose covered by a glass vase with only a few petals left. What was left of the petals glowed a brilliant blue. I was strangely drawn to the flower.

Carefully approaching it I reach out a hand. Before I Can touch it a voice behind me startles me.

"Who said you could be in here?!" it growled.

Whiping around I'm met with the cold grey eyes of the Beast. His spotted tail flicking back and forth.

"I....I....-" I begin to stutter but get cut off when he slams his hand on a table nearby breaking it into pieces.

I scream and duck under his arm an run. I find a staircase that leads down and follow it. It brings me to the entrance hall. I hear his nails scraping on the floor.

Flinging the door open I run out and towards the woods. I flip the hood over my head and I feel tears fall down my face as I replay the scene just happened.

What was with the flower? Why was it shining? Why we're the petals falling off? Why was he so protective of it?

My thoughts are broken off by a wolf jumping into my path. I turn around only to be stopped when another one jumps in my way. Everywhere I turn a wolf shows. I'm cornered and the wolves are slowly approaching. Sinister green eyes narrowed and drool drippin from thre sharp fangs.

I close my eyes and wait for my death. Before the wolves can attack a loud roar cuts through the cold air. I open my eyes and look towards the sound and see the Beast.

His grey eyes are glowing a strange gold color. A wolf leaps towards me but is thrown away When the beast suddenly appears in a flash of blue. The rest of the wolves attack and he fights them off. I back away from the figh into a tree to scared and captivated by the fight to run.

The Beast lets out a mighty roar as one of the wolves bites his fore arm. He swings his arm and sends the wolf flying into a tree where it hits with a loud crack and falls to the ground an in moving lump.

The rest of the wolves get the message and run off. The Beast slowly turns to me. The look in his eyes is enough to send the strongest man running home.

He swiftly walks over to me and picks me up and brings me back to the castle. As we enter a cart with first aid supplies on it is pushed along by Chopper and Nami. The Beast sits in the large black winged armchair.

He attempts to work on his wound but has difficulites. I flip the hood down and help him. He glares harshly at me as I take the cloth from him.

As I press the disinfectant covered cloth to his wound he let's out a long and scary howl. Leaving everyone cowering.

"That hurt!" he growls looking ready to claw my eyes out.

"I'm sorry! But we need to clean your wounds!" I say getting over my fear of him.

"I wouldn't have any wounds if you hadn't tried running away!" he growls as I dab the wound once more.

"I wouldn't have run away If you hadn't scared me!" I retort picking up the role of bandage and beginning to wrap his arm.

"If you hadn't been where you shouldn't have been!" he says glaring at me cold grey eyes filled with a violent fire.

It's silent while I wrap his arm. When I finish I snip the bandage and set it back down and kneel back on my feet.

"Thank you....." he pauses.

"Wolfie. My name is Wolfie." I say staring at my lap.

"Thank you, Wolfie-Ya.... I'm Trafalgar Law." He says his voice as calm as I've ever heard it.

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Things at the castle had been calmer. I had joined Law for a few meals. He was an actually interesting guy when he wasn't snarling.

I was In my room one morning getting dressed in one of the dresses when a knock came on my door.

"Wolfie-Ya. There's something I want to show you." Law's voice sounds from outside.

"Coming!" I say. I had learned it wasn't the best idea to keep him waiting.

I slip the black shawl over the black and yellow dress and open the door.

"Follow me." he commands. I do as he says and he down several halls. We come to a pair of dark oak wood doors.

He smirks ate revealing his fangs and pushes both doors open.y light brown eyes widen in amazement.

The room is something I had only dreamed of. The walls were shelves covered in books ranging from Steven King to medical books.

As I enter the room and look around I feel at home.

"You said you enjoyed reading at home so the library is yours to use." he says watching me in amusement.

"Thank You, Law-San!" I gush walking to a shelf and running my fingers along the spines a child like grin on my face.

"You're Welcome, Wolfie-Ya..."
