(3rd Person POV)

A Mistralian Airship flew into the Land of Darkness as some Nevermores followed it. When it landed next to the castle, Hazel, Emerald and Mercury stepped out, still upset about their failure to destroy Haven and retrieve the Relic of knowledge. As they made their way, they saw Tyrian leaning against the wall.

Tyrian: "Welcome back, welcome back. I do hope you missed us as much as we missed you."

Hazel: "Let's go." They all began walking past him until he said something...

Tyrian: "Ooh speaking of which, Where is our Fall Maiden and our Winter Guardian Beast?" Emerald suddenly stopped with a somewhat frightened expression on her face. Tyrian gasped before giggling like a madman, making the thief get more irritated.

Mercury: "Emerald, come on."

Tyrian: *mocking* "Don't tell me something happened to them?" He unleashed some laughter that caused Emerald to spin around and pointed her Thief's Respite at him.

Emerald: "I WILL cut off more than just your tail." The mad Scorpion Faunus however didn't seemed fazed by this as he slowly approached her.

Tyrian: "Careful little girl. Cinder and Seraphim aren't here to protect you anymore." He then grazed his cheek against Emerald's blade, causing him to bleed and glare at her, creeping her out before laughing. Then Mercury stepped in.

Mercury: "Back off freak."

Tyrian: "Oh don't misunderstand, I am in mourning just as you, because it appears as you just failed our queen and that is a tragedy." Hazel, Mercury and Emerald just continued their way, the latter having a completely freaked out expression as Tyrian laughed all his problems away.

>>Later<<

In the meeting room, Salem sat at the end, not looking pleased as Tyrian and Watts sat around the table, looking fearful. Emerald, Hazel and Mercury all kneeled as Salem addressed them.

Salem: "I would like you to explain to me, how it is you failed so spectacularly." Hazel began to speak.

Hazel: "The Faunus Militia split our forces-"

Salem: "Stop." Hazel looked terrified as he fell quiet. The witch took a second to compose herself before continuing. "Let me rephrase the question. Who is responsible for your defeat?"

There was silence until Hazel stood up.

Hazel: "I take full responsibility."

Abruptly, Salem threw the table to the side of the room, knocking Tyrian and forcing Watts to stand up.

Salem: "But that wouldn't be fair now, would it!? We all know, who's truly to blame..."

Mercury looked terrified as Emerald and Hazel looked away while the witch walked menacingly towards them, holding her hand out.

Hazel: "I don't-"

Suddenly a red "glyph" appeared underneath Hazel, sprouting Grimm arms that dragged him down to the floor while Salem walked up to him with an angered expression. She continued glaring at him until she turned to Emerald.

Salem: "Emerald. I want you to tell me whose fault this was." Emerald was breathing heavily as fear over took her. Salem walked over to her while glaring at her. "Now."

Emerald: "C-Cinder! We failed because of Cinder..."

Salem: "That's right. *puts hand on her shoulder* I want you to understand that failure. I want you to understand why Cinder must be left to toil in her isolation, until she redeems herself." It took a few seconds, but Emerald and Mercury looked shocked.

Mercury: "You mean..."

Emerald: "She's alive?"

Watts: "You're joking, how could you know that?"

Tyrian: "Are you questioning our divine savior!?"

Watts: "I-" Salem glared at him causing him to laugh nervously. "Of course not. Forgive me..."

Salem: "It's important not to lose sight of what drives us. Love, justice, reverence... But the moment you put your desires before my own, they will be lost to you." She began walking back towards her seat as the Grimm arms released Hazel. "This isn't a threat, this is simply the truth. The path to your desires is only found through me." Hazel stood up while Tyrian smiled wickedly. "...And so we must... press on. The sword underneath Vacuo's Academy, Shade-"

Hazel: "Ma'am." Everyone looked to him. "I have more to report." Salem glared at him as the Grimm Arms rose up from underneath him, ready to grab him. "Qrow and the children are taking the Lamp to Atlas."

???: "Not if we beat them to it, first." The inner circle glanced over to the door, only to see a certain blonde doctor enter in.

Salem: "Dr. Zeke. What do you propose?" He bowed respectively to her.

Zeke: "My two specimens are traveling with them, the Summer Guardian, King Ghidorah and the Fall Guardian, but from what I heard, Spring's Guardian was reborn, stronger than before."

Emerald: "So... That was really Olympia?? But I-I thought Sera killed her."

Zeke: "Mothra-Hybrids have the ability to reincarnate. However, they're limited to only one reincarnation. The guardian beast, Mothra has evolved into Mothra Lea, and it's safe to say that she's more than a force to be reckoned with now. But that isn't all I learnt." Salem was quiet throughout this, clenching her chair tightly as she glared directly into the scientist's.

Salem: "Continue..."

Zeke: "The Godzilla-Hybrid, Lazarus Branwen, is still alive and he has become your biggest threat." Salem's eyes widened in surprise as her grip on the chair tightened. "And recently, he and the other Guardians awakened a new power. Guardian Eruption, the power to temporarily gain all of the original powers of the Guardian Beasts."

Mercury: *sigh* "He's not wrong... When that bastard transformed, it was hell on earth. He easily beat Cinder, me and Em. And when the other Guardians tried to subdue him, they-" Cutting him off was Emerald.

Emerald: "Wait..." Everyone looked towards the thief, who had a look of surprise on her face. "He activated that power through rage... when Cinder killed his child which Weiss was carrying..."

Salem: "Cinder... killed the child?" Her tone was low and threatening as there was a small tremor throughout the room. Salem sighed, regaining her composure. "This... is a massive issue... Now that they unlocked that power... Zeke, have you completed work on our specimen?"

Zeke: "Yes, ma'am. Thanks to the dark magic you provided and the Guardian Beast DNA we obtained from the Seraphim, it was a success."

Salem: "Where is she right now?"

Zeke: "Taking care of one last thorn in our side." For once, Salem seemed a bit pleased.

Salem: "Good. Now-"

Hazel: "Ma'am. I have one last bit of information to report." Everyone glanced towards him, with the witch herself glaring intensely at him. "Qrow and the Children... They're being lead... by Ozpin..." Everyone besides Zeke, who began walking out of the door, took a look of shock as Salem continued glaring.

Tyrian: "So soon!?"

Watts: "He's the only man with a chance of getting through to Ironwood. If that happens-" Cutting him off was the sound of the windows beginning to crack as Salem let off an ominous and vengeful aura...

Salem: "Leave."

Tyrian: "You're grace, I-" They just continued to crack, without any sign of stopping. Hazel rested his hand on Emerald's shoulder.

Hazel: "Come on."

Everyone exited out of the door quickly and fearfully, leaving Salem by herself... She began breathing heavily before she closed her eyes... Then she unleashed a Banshee-like screech that broke all the windows in the room.

>>Meanwhile<<

In Mistral, the Ghidorah Castle was in shambles. Fires blazed and the bodies of the Shogun who guarded the building laid on the ground, bleeding out and groaning in extreme pain. Inside of the living room of the castle, Karen coward in the corner as her husband, Metphies stood in front of her, holding out a katana in a protective yet fearful manor.

Metphies: "S-Stay back you demon!"

The person he yelled at... was a girl... She had white hair with black horns on the top of her head, pointed ears and golden eyes looked at the man, gripping what looked like a demonic scythe. She had black and red feathered wings on her back and wore a black and red dress. She slowly approached the fearful couple, dragging the tip of her scythe blade on the ground. Metphies, decided to take a gamble and rushed at her, yelling with his katana pointed at her heart. However, she simply grabbed the blade with her clawed, demonic hands and completely shattered it in her palm. Before Metphies had a chance to react, he gagged and spat out blood as the girl drove her claw right through his chest, gripping his heart and brutally ripping it out, causing his soulless body to fall limp. Karen watched in fear and horror as the girl threw the heart to the side and licked the blood off her claws.

Karen: "P-Please... W-What do you want...!?" There was an unsettling silence as the girl stood in front of the fearful Karen before she gained a sadistic grin and raised her scythe.

???: "You're Heart." The last thing that was heard was the blood curdling screams of Karen as blood splattered. The grinned as hovered outside, her scythe on her back before she snapped her fingers. All of the corpses around her began to glow a purple color before they all rose up, healing up completely. However, their eyes were completely soulless and they bowed before her.

???: "Good~ Master will be very pleased with me. Hehehe~"

*ROAR!*
