(Cassie's POV)

After letting the farmhand named Oscar into our home, we all crowded around him, in total amazement, confusion and other shit I'm too lazy to list here.

Nora: Did he age backwards?"

Jaune: "He's possessed!"

Cassie: "Yup. Definitely possessed."

Ren: "Or reincarnated"

Ruby: "Oh! Isn't it weird?" he looked at all of us nervously.

Oscar: "...It is very weird, yes."

Qrow: "Okay, okay." We all turned towards the kitchen only to see Qrow coming out with a cup of coffee. "Let's all just take a second and remember that this is very overwhelming for everyone."

We looked at him, then Oscar before backing up and laughing nervously.

Oscar: "Thanks." We all took seats, with me, Ruby and Nora sitting next to each other. I spotted Oscar eyeing Ruby, who looked back at him with a giggle, causing him to blush. A-HA! "I'm sorry. I-It's just I've never really met Huntsmen and Huntresses before."

Cassie: "You sure it's just that?" I raised an eyebrow at him causing him to blush and look away. I giggled. "I'm joking."

Ruby: "We've never met a person with two souls. So, first times all around." Oscar smiled and chuckled at that.

Qrow: "Not to break up the whole getting to know you game, but we need to have a talk." Oscar looked at him before sighing.

Oscar: "Oh... Y-Yeah... Okay. Just so you know, I'll still be here."

We looked at each other confused before looking back at Oscar. He took a deep breath before closing his eyes... Then suddenly, he glowed green and opened his eyes to reveal them glowing golden temporarily before...

Ozpin: "It is so very good to see you again, students."

Jaune: "Wait... what just happened?"

Ren: "Professor... Ozpin...?"

Ozpin: "Correct, and though I may be the one speaking, Oscar is still present mentally. He's merely handed over the controls, so to speak." He paused and looked slightly up, almost as if Oscar was talking to him mentally. "I'm afraid this all must be very perplexing."

Nora suddenly zipped over to me and Ruby, slightly startling us.

Nora: "And alarming, and bizarre and just REALLY kind of hard to believe overall!"

Ozpin: "*chuckles* It's good to see you children still have your sense of humor. I know you've all been through tremendous hardships already. I'm sorry..."

Ruby: "I mean... it's not your fault."

I looked away when she said that... I knew damn well it was all Ozpin's fault...

Ozpin: "No, you are right... It's all my fault. I told you once that I made more mistakes than any man, woman and child on this planet, and I wasn't exaggerating. I'm... cursed... For thousands of years, I've walked the surface of Remnant, living, dying and reincarnating in the body of a like minded soul. The Professor Ozpin you all met was not my first form, and clearly wasn't my last. It's... an extraordinarily strenuous process on everyone involved..."

Jaune: "So who... what... are you?"

Ozpin: "I am the combination of countless men who've spent their lives trying to protect the people of Remnant." Qrow got up and went back into the kitchen. "With every rebirth, my soul is eventually merged with another and I am changed, but my memories stay with me. This cursed was bestowed upon me by the gods because I failed to stop Salem in the past... But we must stop her now."

It was at this moment I decided to speak.

Cassie: "And you expect us to blindly follow you?" everyone looked at me, with Ruby having a look of shock.

Ruby: "Cassie...!"

Ozpin: "No, I don't. You have every right to be upset with me, Ms. Ghidra. I have been aware by Qrow of the suffering you've endured since Beacon Fell. You don't have to follow me if you do not want to."

Cassie: "Let me finish, will you?" he nodded. "On that night, I lost five precious people... Penny... Pyrrha... Olympia... and Lazarus... and the fifth, Blake, left me to suffer by myself... Since that time, I've been miserable... more than usual... It felt like I was back in my hell of a life after my mother was killed and my father and step mother had all control over me... and add to the fact, that we're fighting to just get by... And now we've entered a race to get to the Relics first...? It's almost too much for me to handle... I nearly lost sight of myself..."

Ruby: "Cassie..."

Cassie: "But... recently, a certain old bird gave me a reminder..." She smiled at Qrow, who had just returned...

(Flashback)

Qrow: "Well girlfriend or not, you still have her to return to. You have you that red haired friend of yours back in Patch as well. And you have everyone else, especially Ruby. If you were to just give up and live out the rest of your life, being miserable, then Ruby's sure to get pissed off. And trust me, it's not a pretty sight when she gets pissed. You may think it's all pointless... But I've seen that flame of determination in your eyes before Cassie. And it's still there. You just have to relit it."

(End of Flashback)

Cassie: "He reminded me that I still had people to return to and lives to protect... So, I will follow you Ozpin... Not as Cassie Ghidra, but as The God of the Sky, King Ghidorah. But, if you want my full trust, then I want you to be fully truthful with me... with all of us... Do we have a deal, Professor?"

I looked at the Old/Young Wizard who pondered for a bit before smiling at me.

Ozpin: "We have a deal, Ms. Ghidra." I nodded to him.

Ruby: "Okay so how do we stop Salem?"   

Ozpin: "We start... by ensuring the safety of the Relic of Knowledge."

"PROMISE ME!"
CHAPTER 3: FAMILY "REUNION"

(Cassie's POV)

Nora: "This is PERFECT!!! We were stuck at a dead end, but now, we can take little cute boy Ozpin to Lionheart and have him set things straight!" she excitedly gestured to Ozpin, who had a bit of a deadpan expression.

Ozpin: "Please don't call me that."

Qrow: "We're not sure that's the best idea."

Ren: "But, I thought the headmasters all took their orders from you."

Ozpin: "That was the intention. Four lieutenants, I can trust, especially during times of reincarnation. But Qrow told me about your meeting with Leonardo. He isn't just behaving irrationally, he's disobeying specific instructions I had left him. Something's wrong."

Cassie: "I felt it too... He seemed a little... too excited when we told him about Spring. And wanting to go after her in a couple of weeks instead, leaves him holding all the information... Everything is raising red flags and I don't like it..."

Qrow: "Exactly what I was thinking too, Sparky."

Ozpin: "I don't want to jump to conclusions, but I don't want to rule out any possibilities, either. No one outside this room knows that I've paired with Oscar, and I think it may be best to keep it that way."

Qrow: "Play things close to the chest, until we get a better hand."

Ozpin: "Precisely. Now, we have two steps ahead of us. The first is enlisting the aid of more huntsmen."

Ren: "But the Mistral Council-"

Qrow: "Doesn't own every Huntsman in the kingdom, and I've been here enough times too know where we can find some more."

Ozpin: "So long as they're trustworthy."

Qrow: "You can trust them to put up a good fight. I'll throw together a list tonight." He leaned back into the couch and rested a leg on the coffee table, but suddenly, it collapsed.

Nora: "Good luck with that."

Cassie: "Ouch..." I cringed as Qrow grumbled in frustration... That Semblance really is a handful...

Ozpin: "...After that, we can move on to step two."

Cassie: "And that is...?"

Ozpin: "Getting you five into fighting shape."

We all just looked at each other

Ruby: "But... we already know how to fight."

Ozpin immediately pointed his cane at Ruby, causing her to back away slightly.

Ozpin: "You can only fight so long as you have Crescent Rose, but you're still lacking in hand to hand combat."

Ruby: "Well... uh... Yeah..."

Ozpin: "*points to Jaune* Mr. Arc, I'm glad to hear you've improved but sorry to say, you've yet to unlock your Semblance." Jaune looked down. Then he pointed to me... "Ms. Ghidra, there is no doubt that you are the strongest amongst this group, but I heard from Qrow that in your encounter with Tyrian and Seraphim, you tapped into some... extraordinary power. However, you seem to barely have control over it. We'll need to work on that."

Cassie: "Oh um... sure..." I rubbed the back of my head nervously... Truth is, that form, when I used it against the Nuckelavee, I was just... very lucky... Hehehe...

Ozpin: "All of you still have a ways to go before you're ready to pose any real threat against Salem and her forces. And though Oscar can give me temporary control, he'll need to strengthen his body and his Aura." He slightly looked up again, most likely hearing Oscar's comment. "He'll inherit my muscle memory in time, but practice will expedite the process."

Ruby: "But, if Qrow's out looking for Huntsmen, then who's going to teach us?"

Ozpin suddenly jumped into the air while spinning and landed on the chair, spinning his cane around.

Ozpin: "Well, I believe I was the headmaster of Beacon Academy."

We looked at him in awe... How can a man that old be so nimble...? Well then again, he IS in a 14 year old body...

Ozpin: "We have approximately one month before classes resume at Haven." I heard Ghidorah roar into my head.

Cassie: "And if Salem was to plan an attack on Haven, it'd be when the students return, right?"

Ozpin: Affirmative, Ms. Ghidra. It's not much time, but it's better than nothing. *smirks* Just don't expect me to go easy on you." His eyes suddenly glowed and Oscar was back in control but he fell backwards.

Oscar: "You've gotta be kidding me..."

>>The Next Day<<

Qrow: "Sparky!" I looked towards the front door, only to see Qrow coming in. Currently, me and Ruby were in the living room just chilling.

Cassie: "What is it, Qrow?" he held up an envelope.

Qrow: "This came in the mail for you" he handed the envelope to me.

I opened it but... oh boy was I not expecting what it read... I stood up with an annoyed sighed and crumpled up the letter.

Ruby: "Oh! Is it from a secret admirer??" I just sighed...

Cassie: "No it's far... far worse... I just got an invitation back home... by my 'parents'."

I could see the shock in both Ruby and Qrow's expression. They already know my relationship with them...

Qrow: "You don't have to go you know."

Cassie: "Oh I know, but that's the problem. If I don't, they won't stop harassing me. So, I'm gonna head there, talk quickly, tell them I want nothing to do with them, then I'll be back here before you know it." I said as I sheathed Chōetsu-tekina Ten on my back, just in case I had to fight my way out.

I was about to walk out when, Ruby called out to me.

Ruby: "Wait! I'm coming too."

After walking up this many flights of stairs for what felt like forever, we were finally at the top.

Ruby: "Phew! Why *pant* are there *pant* so many stairs!?" she desperately asked as she hunched over.

Cassie: "I ask myself that everyday... I think it's because of the status my family holds in Mistral." I looked up, only to see it... "Welcome... to The Ghidorah Castle"

Ruby: "Wow! It's so huge!!! And pretty!!!" she said with sparkles in her eyes... It was true, my house was... beautiful... I almost miss living here...

Cassie: "Come on." I gestured for her to follow and we began walking towards the gate. However, two Shogun Guards stopped us and pointed their katanas at us.

Shogun Ichi: "Halt! State your name and business!"

Ruby slightly yelped from his loud voice but I just placed a hand on my hip and gave them a 'really' look.

Cassie: "Cassie Ghidra. Daughter of Metphies Ghidra and the deceased Yuuki Ghidra." I answered as I swayed my twin tails about and my eyes glowed golden briefly. Seems like they recognized me as the quickly lowered their weapons and kneeled before me.

Shogun Ni: "Forgive us, Princess Cassie!"

Ruby: "Princess!?" I rolled my eyes and looked at Ruby.

Cassie: "It's just a title my 'father like to put on me, to show that I'm to be treated with respect. It's cringe honestly..." I looked back at the Shoguns. "To your feet, Shoguns Ichi and Ni. Is my brother here?" The two rose to their feet.

Shogun Ichi: "Prince Ichigo currently is out, dealing with some business with the Qixing Family."

Cassie: "*sigh* Of course he is... How about my father and step mother?"

Shogun Ni: "They are inside meeting room, currently awaiting for you to join them."

Cassie: "Okay. Thank you." I said as I began walking past them. "And by the way, let the one behind me through as well. She's my friend."

Shogun Ichi and Ni: "Yes Princess!"

Cassie: "And stop calling me that too. I'm not a princess."

The Shoguns opened the massive gates, revealing the courtyard of my home, which was filled with bright colors. Cherry blossom trees and a beautiful mote with three bridges that lead to the three main buildings of the castle. Ruby stared in amazement as we walked through my courtyard and over the center bridge that let towards the main building. When we stopped at the doors, I knocked, creating a loud sound throughout the area.

Ruby: "Woah...!"

Just then, the door opened to reveal, a maid. She was a beautiful young lady with long white hair and navy blue eyes. She was the maid that took care of me and Ichigo since we was little, even after mom died... Belfast

Belfast: "Ah. Welcome back home, Ms. Cassie." I couldn't help but give her a hug.

Cassie: "Hi Belfast... I missed you..." I heard her giggle and embrace me back.

Belfast: "I missed you too." We ended the embrace and smiled at each other. "How have you've been?"

Cassie: "Okay so far... Ah! Before I forget, this is my Best Friend, Ruby Rose." I said, gesturing to the bundle of roses behind me.

Ruby: "Nice to meet you!" she said, smiling while waving her hand.

Belfast: "Pleasure to meet you, Ruby Rose. I am Belfast, the top maid of the Ghidorah Castle and Ms. Cassie's original care taker after the unfortunate passing Mistress Yuuki Ghidra." She bowed before her before turning back to me. "What are you doing back here?"

Cassie: "*sigh* You know... Dad..."

Belfast: "Right, right. Okay I wish you the best of luck."

Cassie: "Thank you, I'll definitely need it... C'mon Ruby."

Belfast bowed before Ruby and I entered my home, which was filled with expensive and ancient items. There are also some photos of our ancestors on the wall. Finally, we were at the 'meeting' room, where my father and step mother were. They were both kneeling in front of the main table looking at me. My step mother had blonde hair in a bob cut, with green eyes and she wore a black and purple floral pattern tight yukata and yes... Her name was Karen. My father on the other hand, had black eyes and light gray hair. However, his right eye had a golden pattern in it.

Cassie: "Say right here Ruby..." I whispered to her before I entered the room, leaving Ruby at the door.

Dad: "Cassie."

Cassie: "Dad."

God there was so much tension in the air...

Karen: "Hello my daughter. It's so nice to see that you are okay." She tried sounding sweet but I rolled my eyes.

Cassie: "Hello Karen. And don't call me your daughter." She sighed.

Karen: "Cassie, I thought we've been over-"

Cassie: "No. My mom is Yuuki Ghidra, her and her alone. Now let's get to the bottom of things. Why did you call me here?"

Dad: "I see you brought a long a straggler." He said, looking at Ruby.

Cassie: "She's my friend. Now answer my question. Why, after many years have you suddenly decided to call me here?"

Karen: "We need you to come back Cassie and leave your little 'friends'"

I looked at her, slightly angered.

Cassie: "What did you just ask me to do?"

Dad: "Exactly what she told you." I snapped towards him. "You need to stop trying to play the hero and come back here, so we can give you the proper attention you need to become the Princess of the Ghidra family."

Cassie: "One. I'm NOT a princess. And two, do you really think I'm such a fool to believe a lie like that? I know the moment Ichigo told you that I was somehow alive, you both thought you could control me again. But guess what? You. Can't."

Dad: "Cassie! You saw what happened at Beacon, the lives that were lost. The Princess of the Infamous Houtua tribe was killed! We cannot allow something like that to happen to our daughter! For the family name!"

He just mentioned Olympia... Fucking bastard...

Cassie: "So!? Get Ichigo to do it!"

Karen: "Ichigo's no longer the Heir to the family name. After he chose to abandon us and upon hearing that you're alive, we gave it to you."

Cassie: "So what, you think I'm just gonna accept this?"

Dad: "You are and you will. You will carry on our family name."

Cassie: "OUR!? You mean my MOM'S family name! That's the only name I'm willing to carry on, not this bullshit you turned it into since YOU married into it!"

Karen: "Don't you talk to your father like that!"

Cassie: "Oh just shut the fuck up, wait your damn turn!" I snarled at her before turning back towards my father. "Something massive is coming to the rest of Remnant and when it does, there won't be any name to carry on!"

Karen: "Stop speaking crazy! What has Ozpin put in that mind of yours!?"

Cassie: "More knowledge than your micro-sized brain can handle apparently!"

Dad: "That's enough of this!" he yelled as he stood up. "You are staying here whether you like it or not. And you WILL become the Heiress to the Ghidra Family."

I scoffed at him.

Cassie: "What!? So YOU can rape me again and that Entitled rat of a blonde bitch over there can give you your 'reward' for doing it!?"

*SLAP!*

It was fast, but stung a lot... This abusive bitch of a father just slapped me, leaving a bruise on my right cheek.

Dad: "DON'T YOU DARE TALK ABOUT YOUR MOTHER LIKE THAT!"

Cassie: "SHE'S NOT MY MOTHER! My mother will ALWAYS be Yuuki Ghidra and ONLY HER! And the blood of the Guardian Beast she once carried runs through mine and my brother's veins. The God of the Sky is destined to Protect Remnant from all evil and that's what I'm doing!"

Karen: "Pfft. All evil?" She mocked with a bit of an annoyed smirk

Dad: "Stop speaking nonsense GIRL! You WILL remain here! And afterwards, we will marry you to this young man we picked out for you."

Was that a joke? Because it was funny as hell to me!

Cassie: "MAN!? PFFT HAHAHAHA!!!THAT'S SO FUNNY!" I laughed so loudly that the guards from outside could probably hear me, but that was the funniest joke I've heard in a while. After I had calmed down, I looked up at my 'dear father' "Sorry to disappoint, but I'm already in a relationship."

Dad: "We know. Ichigo told us about her. I know I didn't raise my daughter to be sinful bisexual person. I'm not allowing you to marry such a filthy Faunus like that Belladonna girl."

Karen: "You will marry the man we picked for you. And have children with him so our name can continue on!"

I felt my anger boil as my eyes flickered to violet and violet electricity sparked around me.

Cassie: "NO!!!"

My voice boomed as I suddenly saw Red heard that same hellish roar.

(Ruby's POV)

I flinched upon hearing Cassie shout at that volume, but suddenly, Ni and Kevin, both glowing a bright silver light, appeared next to her and snarled at her parents, causing them both to step back, Karen clinging onto her husband out of fear. Then... Cassie began laughing... But her voice sounded different... almost disoriented... I could see the violet electricity sparking around her and her crimson eyes, glowing a slight purple... I recognized this...

Cassie: "Y-You think I give a damn about what you want? Hehehe... HAHAHAHA!! That's funny! Because, I really don't give a damn! You both put me through so much torture since mom died... and you think I would suddenly forget about it all and suck up to your wants...? No... I never... NEVER will bend to your will... Maybe... I should just cut ties with you both to get that point across... Literally..."

When she said that, my eyes widen as I saw her aim violet lightning bolts that were shaped like blades at her parents. Her father tried to act tough to protect his wife, but just fell a coward. At the same time, Cassie was laughing maniacally. I quickly ran inside and grabbed Cassie's hand, causing her to look at me.

Ruby: "Stop Cassie! This isn't you! Killing them won't make things better!"

She looked at me got a brief moment with dead eyes before suddenly, the light in them came back and her eyes reverted back to crimson. Ni and Kevin disappeared as the lightning bolt blade followed suit.

Karen: "You are mad!"

Dad: "Threatening death upon us!? Have you lost your mind Cassie!?"

She just glared at them before turning her back on them.

Cassie: "I am Cassie Ghidra, daughter of Yuuki Ghidra and the Heiress to the Ghidra Family Name. I will carry this name my mother wore with pride, until my time comes... And I will protect Remnant as The God of the Sky, King Ghidorah. And I will do that, with my friends by my side... my brother... Not you two. Don't ever speak to me again, Metphies and Karen."

She began walking away but stopped before...

Cassie: "Good luck trying to find someone to continue on the legacy you never owned. I know Ichigo won't do it. Farewell father and step mother. Let's NOT meet again."

And with that she was gone. I quickly followed after her. The walk back to the outside was quiet and slightly tense... When Cassie said that her father and step mother treated like that, I didn't think it was that bad... When we arrived in the court yard, we ran into Belfast.

Belfast: "I assume it went as we both expected it to go?"

Cassie: "More or less... Why are you still working for them Belfast?"

We looked at the maid, who gained a dark expression.

Belfast: "Don't get me wrong, I despise them as much as you do... Damned entitled, arrogant and vulgar bastards if you ask me. But, your Brother has a plan."

Cassie: "Ichigo?"

Belfast: "That's right. And when the time is right, I promise I'll join up with you, Ma lady."

Cassie smiled at her.

Cassie: "Thank you, Belfast. But you really don't have to."

Belfast shut her down by bringing her into a hug.

Belfast: "I made a promise you Yuuki, that I would take care of you and your brother no matter what, and I intend to keep it."

Cassie seemed shocked, but embraced her back gently.

Cassie: "Thank you, Belfast... And Farewell, for now..."

Currently, Cassie and I were on our way back to the house to rest after meeting with her parents. She hasn't said anything since we left her house, but she was probably still thinking about what happened... Suddenly, I heard a thud behind me. But when I turned around, I was surprised to find Cassie on her knees...

Ruby: "Cassie?" she was silent... but then I heard the faint sounds of... crying...?

I immediately ran over to her and hugged her tightly. She seemed hesitant but hugged me back before she began crying into my shoulder...

Ruby: "It's okay Cassie... It's okay... You did the right thing... Your mom would be proud of you..."

She just continued to sob as I held her closely... I'm just hoping her father and step mother leave her alone now...

Cassie: "R-Ruby...?" I looked down at her, only to see her tearful face looking up at me. "W-Will Blake really come back...?"

Ruby: "Yes she will." I responded.

Cassie: "PROMISE ME!!!" I was slightly shocked at the increase in volume but I smiled and hugged her tightly.

"I promise Cassie... Blake will come back"
