(Lazarus' POV)

My eyes were closed as I sat on a crate carrying Dust, while Weiss and I were still in the Dust Cargo Ship, heading to Mistral. Mom, she was currently resting in my mind but I couldn't help but think... If I see the others again... how will they react? Cassie, Cassandra, Blake, Ruby, Yang...?

Yes, I knew what happened to Olympia... Before I 'died', I saw images of Penny, Summer, Pyrrha and Olympia, however their images were in black and white, meaning that they had been sent to the afterlife... So yeah... I know Olympia's gone....

Weiss: "How much farther?" I kept my eyes clothes, but could hear Weiss talking to the pilot

Pilot: "We're in the home stretch now. No more stops from here to Mistral. Sorry, for the long trip. Keeping us off radar's been harder than I thought. Lots of air traffic around northern Anima."

Weiss: "It's fine. I... just hope we haven't been a burden..."

Pilot: "You and your money are more than welcome on this ship, kid."

I shook my head at that comment before my attention was caught by...

Distress: "MAYDAY! MAYDAY! We are a small passenger flight and our Huntress is down! We aren't equipped to deal with this!"

Pilot: "Oh man..."

Distress: "The Grimm hit us 400 clicks north of the shoreline! If anyone can hear this-"

An explosion was heard as Weiss listened in horror. The pilot just turned it off and began changing routes.

Weiss: "We're going to help them, right?"

Pilot: "What? No. I'm trying to avoid them..."

Weiss: "But... they'll die..."

Pilot: "Look, if we picked up their transmission, I'm sure someone else did too. Besides, this is a cargo ship. She's not much good in a fight. I just want to finish this job and get home. Sorry, my ship, my rules."

I sighed in frustration as I could tell Weiss had a saddened expression on her face... Well, this ride will be... slightly depressing.

"GODZILLA!"
CHAPTER 2: COMPLICATIONS

(Lazarus' POV)

I was still sitting in the cargo hold of the ship with my eyes closed, just trying to relax, but then I felt a soft sensation on my lap. I opened my eyes to see my girlfriend, Weiss sitting on my lap, adjusting herself before she leaned back into me.

Lazarus: "And who gave you permission to sit there?"

Weiss: "I did. And your lap is really comfortable. I'll be taking ownership of it." she replied with a bit of sass in her voice, thinking she won. But little did she know, I had a plan to get back at her, and it involves something Ruby would call FILTH.

Lazarus: "That's not normal..."

We both got up and walked up to the cockpit.

Weiss: "Where are we?"

Pilot: "No where good."

Lazarus: "And why is that?"

Pilot: "We're passing by some of Lake Matsu's floating islands. The Gravity Dust that forms in those things is giving us a little turbulence. Nothing I can't handle but the islands sometimes hide some nasty Grimm. I'm just betting on our friends in distress keeping them preoccupied."

I sighed and looked to my right, only to see a flaming Mistralian Airship... heading straight for us!

Lazarus: "Starboard Side! Look out!" I warned them, causing Weiss and the pilot to look to the right. The pilot managed to maneuver the ship to avoid the crashing ship, causing it to crash into an island and explode. At this moment, I heard my mother yawning in my head.

Mom telepathically: "Hmmm~ I see the action has started. Oh... That's not good."

Pilot: "You've got to be kidding me!"

He turned back on the radio.

Mistralian pilot: "By the gods, we've lost Percy! HELP!"

Looking back out the window again, we saw another Mistralian ship being chased by a swarm of wasp-like Grimm. They then launched their singers at the ship, piercing the haul and slowly ripped it apart.

Mistralian Pilot: "We're hooked! We're hooked! Everyone abandon ship!"

Another Grimm dived directly into the ship, blowing it up.

Pilot: "Lancers, freakin Lancers! Alright you two, buckle up- huh?"

Weiss and I had already jumped down into the cargo hold.

Pilot: "What do you both think you're doing!?"

Weiss: "What we should have done in the first place!"

Lazarus: "Couldn't have said it any better... You're carrying Dust, right?" I asked as Weiss began loading Myrtenaster with its Dust Cartridges.

Pilot: "Officially, no. Actually, yes."

As Weiss finished her business, she suddenly handed me a Dust magazine clip.

Weiss: "You might need this, darling." I smiled at her and took it before loading it into Iblis and transforming it into its blaster mode.

Lazarus: "Why thank you, dear." She smiled and nodded

Weiss: "When we tell you, open the rear door!"

Pilot: "Better make it quick!"

He began to maneuver the ship to try and lose the Lancers, but to no avail.

Pilot: "Hey! We're cutting it close!" he yelled again as Weiss stood next to me and created two Gravity Glyphs underneath us.

Lazarus and Weiss: "Ready!"

The hatch opened up, allowing a massive gust of wind to hit our faces and revealing the large swarm of Lancer Grimm. Myrtenaster's Dust chamber rotated to Wind Dust as Weiss sent a Wind Arc at the Lancers, sending them back a bit. Then Myrtenaster's Dust chamber rotated to Fire Dust as I decided to try out my Semblance, while converting my Dust Rounds in Iblis to Fire.

Mom telepathically: "Oh Lancers... Wonderful..."

Lazarus telepathically: "Not a fan of bugs mom?"

Mom telepathically: "Oh what gave it away, son?"

I shook my head with a smile before Weiss began launching fire balls from Myrtenaster and her Glyph. I on the other hand fired Fire Dust Rounds from Iblis before my eyes glowed a white color and I summoned blue colored glyphs in front of me, mimicking >Weiss' Glyphs< before they fired off blue colored beams, like my >Atomic Ray<.

Weiss: "What the!? How!?" she asked, looking at me in shock. I just chuckled.

Lazarus: "My Semblance. I can mimic other people's Semblances, though I have to have a bond with that person to do it. That was your Glyphs." I explained to her as I continued firing at the Lancers.

Pilot: "Hold on!" Suddenly, the ship rocked as he began to sharply maneuver it to attempt to lose some of the Lancers but suddenly, there was a thud.

Weiss: "What was that!?"

Pilot: "We're hooked!" he said as we heard bug-like footsteps on the roof of the ship...

Lazarus: "I'll take care of them."

Weiss: "Don't do something stupid again!"

I just smiled at her before my eyes glowed a red color as I mimicked >Ruby's Petal Burst<, transforming into a blur of blue rose petals. I blitzed up to the roof of the ship before immediately knocking into one of the Lancers, stabbing it with Iblis and ripping it in half. As I ducked out with the second one, I remembered something... Mephiles was destroyed, so the Gravity Dust system in Iblis was useless. So if it falls now, it's gone forever.

The Lancer lunched back towards me, but my eyes glowed a dark violet as I used >Blake's Shadows< to create a clone of myself that took the hit. Then I rushed towards the Lancer and slashed it in two with my mom's kama, which didn't have any different forms.

Lazarus: "Lancers on the ship have been eliminated."

Weiss: "Awesome! Can you find a pair of Islands we can fit between?"

Lazarus: "I see some up ahead!" I replied, spotting two large islands in front of us.

Pilot: "You two are reading my mind!"

Weiss: "Laz, get back into the ship!" I followed her request and with my eyes glowing a golden color, I used >Cassie's Ghidorah Spark< to blitz into the ship as blue lightning bolt. Weiss then looked at me, with a sly smile. "After this, you and I have some unfinished business."

Lazarus: "You're really talking about that now? I expected better from you, Snowflake. But then again, you're very lewd for a Heiress." Weiss rolled her eyes but smirked at me.

Weiss: "Just don't forget, darling~."

As the ship flew between two sets of large islands, Weiss and I fired off multiple fire balls that crashed into the islands, causing the rubble to fall on to the Lancers, destroying them all.

Pilot: "Yeah! Great going you two! We are in the clear!"

I sighed in relief before being pulled by Weiss into a heated kiss which I returned without hesitation. When we pulled away, a thin line of saliva kept us connected as she smirked at me with a massive blush.

Weiss: "You really know how to exceed my expectations."

Lazarus: "I could say the same about you." I smirked back before loud buzzing could be heard... Weiss and I turned only to see...

Weiss: "Two Queen Lancers!!!"

Pilot: "What!?"

Weiss summoned multiple white glyphs and fired off multiple white energy shots at the Queen Lancers but they just tanked them and began to fire off spikes at the ship. We deflected some of them but some hit the wings and engines of the ship...

Lazarus: "Damn..." I cursed under my breath before I turned around and noticed the Dust Crates. "Snowflake, the Dust!" She looked back at me, then at the Dust before catching on.

Weiss: "Right!" We both leaped over Dust crates before slashing at the straps.

Weiss and I then created Glyphs to levitate them before we launched them at the Queen Lancers. Just as they made contact, I fired a Dust Round at the crates, creating a domino effect of exploding Dust. But... The Queen Lancers just came out, unscathed...

Pilot: "I can see the shoreline! Gods, we're not gonna make it!" he announced. I then holstered Iblis and my mother's kama before looking at Weiss.

Lazarus: "Weiss, summon your Arma Gigas."

Weiss: "I don't think it can take on both Queen Lancers!"

Lazarus: "But it can take out one. I'll take the other... It's time I unleashed The King" It seemed like she caught on and nodded before kneeling and stabbing Myrtenaster into the floor of the ship, summoning her Arma Gigas. Then I took a deep breath... Third Time's the charm...

Mom telepathically: "You can do it son. Call out his name, and he will respond to you! THE KING OF THE MONSTERS!"

"GODZILLA!!!"

I was blinded by a bright blue light as I transformed into my Hybrid Form, with my massive tail swaying about.

I turned to my Queen, only to see her looking at me in amazement.

Lazarus: "We're doing this together, Weiss!"

Weiss: "Right!" she nodded with determination. "Pull up!"

The pilot pulled directly up before flying inverted as Me, Weiss and the Arma Gigas stood on the roof. Immediately, the Arma Gigas ran out of the ship targeting on Queen Lancer. However, the second one tried to attack me. As she ship flipped over, putting Weiss and I back on the floor, my tail slammed into the ground as a charging up sound was heard. A blue energy surged up dorsal fins and back as my eyes and my remaining right horn's ring pattern glowed a bright blue before I fully took aim at the second Queen Lancer.

Lazarus: "Fall!!!"

I used my >Atomic Ray<, firing off a blue beam of atomic energy from my right horn at the second Queen Lancer, ripping it to shreds. Just then, the ship rocked as a small explosion happened and the Arma Gigas took out the other Queen Lancer. We had won... but we were going down... fast...

Lazarus: "Weiss..." I looked to my girlfriend, who had tears in her eyes.

Weiss: "Laz..." she ran into me, embracing me tightly as my Hybrid Form deactivated and everything went to black...

(3rd Person POV)

Weiss groaned in pain as she laid on the shore with the burning ship behind her... When she opened her eyes, she saw Lazarus lying in front of her, unconscious. But she was shocked to see blood dripping down his arms and head...

Weiss: "Laz... P-Please... W-Wake up..."

However, he didn't respond. But then, two men walked up to the two.

Weiss: "Please... help..." they simply looked at her

Man 1: "What do you think?"

Suddenly, the Bandit Tribe leader, Raven Branwen walked up to them.

Raven: "I think we just hit the jackpot."

Weiss' eyes widen as Raven kicked her in the face, knocking her out.

Man 2: "What about the boy?"

Raven looked over to Lazarus, only to gain a shocked look.

Raven: "I-Impossible... Lazarus!?" she ran over to his side and kneeled next to him before she realized that he was alive. But she noticed his severed horn and sighed. "Lazarus... You... really are okay..."

Man: "You know him?"

Raven: "Yes... He's my Nephew."
