(Lazarus' POV)

Me: No... No...

Everyone: WEISS!!!!!

My eyes shot open as I began to pant heavily... I looked around to see that I was in the Cafeteria with Team JNPR, Olympia and Cassandra sitting at one of the table. I felt a gentle touch on my left shoulder. I looked to see Weiss looking up at me, showing actual concerned; Cassie, Blake and Yang were sitting on her right.

Weiss: Are you okay?

Me: Um... Yeah... I'm just tired...

Weiss: Have you've been getting any sleep lately?

Me: I'm fine Weiss, okay?

Weiss looked at me, obviously not believing me but she decided to let it go as she sighed and dropped the topic.

I sighed as I looked down at my hands which were shaking a little, even when I balled them into fists... I looked over to see Blake looking in a book that had a rose in it. Cassie looked and frowned before intertwining her finger's with Blake, who smiled at her. Cassie smiled back as the two admired each other, until...

Yang: Watcha doing?

Blake and Cassie were startled and immediately undid their hands, all while the former closed the book

Blake: N-Nothing. Just going over notes from last semester.

Cassie: And I'm helping her go over said notes.

Yang quickly caught a grape in her mouth that Nora threw

Yang: Lame. Kiss and make out instead.

Blake and Cassie: *blushing* YANG!

Nora began giggling before throwing another grape at Yang which she caught again. All of a sudden, Ruby slammed a large binder onto the table, startling her teammates; it said 'Vytal Festival Activities Property of Weiss Schnee'. Below it read, 'Best Day Ever Activities' which had been written on. Ruby cleared her throat.

Ruby: Sisters. Friends. Brother. Weiss...

Weiss: Hey!

Ruby ignored her and proceeded further.

Ruby: Four score and seven minutes ago, I had a dream.

Me: Oh boy... She's been dreaming again...

Yang: This ought to be good.

Ruby: A dream that one day, all of us, will come together, as a team and have the most fun anyone has ever had... ever!

Cassie: Well in case you've forgotten Ruby, four of us aren't in your team.

Ruby: Ah, but fear not my dear dragon friend, I have personally decided to include Team LCOC for the Best Day Ever!

Olympia: YAY!!!

Weiss: Did you steal my binder?

Ruby: *peace signs* I am not a crook.

Me: She totally did...

Ruby: *pouts* I didn't!

Blake: What are you talking about?

Ruby: I'm talking about kicking off the semester with a bang!

Yang: I always kick off my semester with a "YANG"! Eh? Guys? Am I right?

Everyone just stayed quiet and looked at her not amused until Nora from the other table, threw an apple at her head.

Nora: BOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Me: I swear you puns are just getting worse and worse by the day, Yang...

Yang: *pouts* MEANIE!

Ruby: Look guys, it's been a good two weeks and between more exchange students arriving and the tournament at the end of the year, our second semester is going to be great! But, classes start back up tomorrow... which is why I've taken the time to schedule a series of wonderful events for us today!

Weiss: I don't know whether to be proud or scared of what you have in store.

Me: A bit of both...

Yang then tossed an apple across the room which sounded like it hit Jaune instead of Nora as he shouted 'Hey!' and Nora and Olympia began giggling.

Blake: I don't know... I think I might sit this one out.

Cassie: What? It'd be fun, Kitty.

Blake began to blush at her nickname.

Blake: I told you NOT to call me that in public!

Cassie just giggled and gave Blake a kiss on her check, further maddening her blush.

Weiss: Sit out or not, I think that however we spend this last day, we should do it as a team!

Weiss the stood up.

Nora: I got it!

Mine and Yang's eyes widen from horror as we saw Nora getting ready to throw a pie. We began gesturing for her to NOT throw it, but...

Weiss: I for one think that-

Weiss was cut off by a pie hitting her face. Me, Ruby, Cassie. Blake and Yang looked at JNPR with the same amount of shock as Jaune, Olympia, Cassandra and Pyrrha while Nora looked scared and tried to pin the blame on Ren who was face palming. Then we slowly looked back up at Weiss, only to see her absolutely fuming...

Weiss: YOU ABSOLUTE PIECE OF-

She cut herself off by picking up a nearby Watermelon and throwing it back at Nora, but it missed and hit Jaune instead, sending him flying into a window.

Pyrrha: JAUNE!

Then... THOSE. TWO. WORDS...

Olympia: FOOD FIGHT!!!!!

(3rd Person POV)

In a matter of seconds, the entire cafeteria was in pure chaos, with food being thrown all over the place and students making a b-line towards the door. Soon enough, Team JNPR plus Olympia and Cassandra were standing on top of a fortress made of tables.

Nora: AHAHAHAHA! I'M QUEEN OF THE CASTLE! I'M QUEEN OF THE CASTLE!

Ruby slammed her foot on the table before squeezing a milk carton.

Ruby: Justice will be swift! Justice will be painful! It will be DELICIOUS!!!

WBY and Cassie: YEAH!!!

Lazarus just sighed and crossed his arms.

Lazarus: I'll see you guys later.

He began to walk towards the exit but Ruby sped up to him and stopped him immediately,

Ruby: Laz! We NEED you on our side!

Lazarus: Ruby, I really don't think-

Ruby: UPUPUPUPUP! NO EXCUSES! You are going to join our side and that's final! SISTER'S ORDERS!

Seeing as there was no way out of this, he sighed...

Lazarus: Fine, fine. Let's just make this quick.

Nora: Off with their heads!

The battle started off with Team JNPR throwing a load of watermelons at Team RWBY, Lazarus and Cassie's direction.

Ruby: Yang! Turkey!

Yang equipped two turkeys onto her hands like Ember Celica and punched her fists together, before destroy the watermelons with a volley of punches. Cassie and Blake  joined the battle, the latter picking up two stale baguettes before slashing some melons, while Cassie's eyes began to glow gold before she called forth...

Cassie: NI! SAN!

The two golden dragon whips appeared next to her before forming a sort of barrier in front of her, Blake and Yang, blocking the rest of the watermelons before Yang launched both of her turkeys at Pyrrha and Jaune, the former dodging allowing the latter to get hit. Pyrrha picked up a baguette as she and Blake began to duke it out, until the former managed to knock the latter down and back.

Cassie: BLAKE!

Cassie looked back at Pyrrha with a glare as she saw the untouchable girl launch her baguette at her. Cassie kicked it in two before rushing up to Pyrrha, only for Olympia to swoop in and carry Cassie into the sky before throwing her onto a table, scattering the contents. Olympia giggled and posed with a "V" sign.

Olympia: Ehehehe! Sorry Cassie, but your girlfriend is a necessary sacrifice for The Queen of Thunder Thighs!

Nora: *in the background* AYE!!! GOOD WORK MY STUDENT!

Cassie: I don't think so! Ni! San! You know your roles!

Ni and San roared in confirmation before splitting off from their owner, going their own separate ways. Cassie got back up and glared at Olympia, her wings from her Hybrid form flaring up.

Cassie: You're mine, Princess!

She launched herself up to Olympia, throwing an electro-charged spin kick at her, but she blocked with her hands, which were glowing blue and with a smirk, Olympia and Cassie began to duke it out in midair.

Ruby was seen skating across multiple tables on a tray, landing on Pyrrha before knocking her back. Ren and Nora went to charge at Ruby, but Weiss quickly stepped in between them and spurts ketchup onto the ground, causing Ren to lose balance and slide into a bunch of tables, knocking them all over the place. Nora jumped out of the way and disconnected a metal beam from the ceiling before impaling it into watermelon, making a hammer. She swung at Weiss, but Ruby got in between them and took the hit, sending her flying back into some tables. Nora swung again but Weiss rolled out of the way before picking up a Sword Fish and charging Nora with it, sending her back before clashing attacks with her. However, Nora managed to completely slam Weiss with the hammer, sending her flying back to a pillar which collapsed. Ruby gasped and sped over before catching the unconscious Weiss.

Ruby: Weiss, Weiss! Don't leave me! NOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Lazarus watched before turning his attention back to Nora, who was laughing triumphantly. He gained a dark red aura as he rushed towards Nora, catching her off guard before grabbing her by the face and throwing her back. Nora got back up, visibly terrified.

Nora: I ANGERED THE VAMPIRE!!!

Lazarus began to approach her, taking hold of two baguettes but he was met with resistance; one Cassandra.

Lazarus: Oh? You're approaching me?

Attaching a singular turkey to her right arm, Cassandra used her Semblance, >Iris' Blink< to teleport directly in front of Lazarus, throwing a turkey punch at him but he saw it coming and blocked with one of his baguettes, forming a power struggle between the two.

Lazarus: I guess, this is round two, wouldn't you say?

Cassandra smirked before throwing rapid punches with her turkey arm at Lazarus, who blocked each strike fluidly before spinning around and landing a horizontal strike on Cassandra, causing her to skid back a bit. Lazarus made a diagonal strike, hoping for it to connect with Cassandra, but she grinned an evil grin and kicked at it to counter it. Everything seemed to move in slow motion as the baguette and Cassandra's leg inched closer and closer but just as they were about to make contact, Lazarus' eyes picked up on Cassandra's leg transforming into a boney blade but it was too late as once contact was made, Cassandra's leg blade sliced right through the baguette.

Lazarus: Okay... That's just cheap.

With her leg reverting back to its normal state, Cassandra aimed her tentacles at Lazarus before unleashing a barrage of her >Sonic Scalpel< at him. Reacting quickly, Lazarus began to reflect each of the deadly golden beams with his remaining baguette but was becoming overwhelmed as his baguette was struggling to hold together. Noticing this, Cassandra decided to try and throw him off and blink towards him before throwing a turkey punch at him. Unfortunately for her, her grin faded quickly as her eyes widened, noticing that Lazarus caught her attack with his free hand, it burning in a dark red aura of flames.

Lazarus: Fall.

The ring pattern in his horns began to shine blue as his golden eyes turned a blue color and the red flames on his hands turned to blue before Lazarus connected one punch with Cassandra's gut, causing her to gag and be sent flying back into the fortress of tables, making it collapse. His flames extinguished and his eyes reverted back to their golden color as Lazarus looked at his hand, visibly confused...

Lazarus' thoughts: What was that...?

As he thought about what just happened, Cassie and Olympia were trading punches and kicks in midair before Cassie spun and kicked Olympia away before using her Semblance, >Ghidorah's Spark<  to speed towards Olympia as a golden lightning bolt before knocking her back. Olympia just looked up with a smirk before the two "eyes" on her massive moth wings began to glow. Activating her >Sparkling Payload< unleashed a blue beam of energy from either wing at Cassie, causing her eyes to widen but before she could do anything, the beams made contact, knocking her back into the wall. Unfortunately, Olympia wasn't expecting for San to appear out of nowhere and bite down on her arm, electrocuting her before flinging her into a wall, knocking her down.

Yang reattached her turkeys to her hands while Ren picked up two celeries. The two began to clash but it ended quickly with Yang upper-cutting Ren into the air and jumping up to him before slamming him into a table, creating a massive shockwave with a loud ringing noise. Just then, Nora with her watermelon hammer rushed up to Yang and began to swing it at her. The two eventually got into a standstill and were about to trade blows, with everything moving at a slow pace, but unfortunately for Yang, Nora had more reach and uppercut Yang with her hammer, into the air, sending her crashing through the roof but the strike was so powerful, it broke the watermelon on Nora's hammer.

Blake backflipped out of the way of the debris, before a familiar roar caught her attention. Ni had flown to her side and was circling her.

Blake: Ni?

Ni roared softly to Blake who immediately understood what he meant.

Blake: Cassie... You're sacrifice won't be in vein... I love you!

Ni roared dominantly as he allowed Blake to wield him. She twirled Ni around before swinging him at Nora, knocking her back into a vending machine. Nora got back up before throwing a few soda cans at Blake, who immediately noticed before twirling Ni around, destroying all of them. As she was occupied with that, Pyrrha got back up, noticing all of the soda cans on the ground before activating her Semblance, >Polarity< and launching a whole barrage of soda cans at Blake. Blake's eyes widen before Ni roared, unleashing a >Gravity Beam< at the storm of soda cans. However, they were quickly overwhelmed as the soda cans crashed into Blake, causing her to go flying back into a pillar, taking her out of the fight. Ruby watched with a shocked expression before looking to her brother, who was still standing.

Ruby: LAZ!

Lazarus looked at her, only to see her get into a sprinting position. Catching onto her idea, Lazarus nodded and made his way over to his sister, standing behind her before gaining a dark red aura. With one final push, Lazarus unleashed a shockwave that launched Ruby towards Team JNPR, Olympia and Cassandra at high speeds, who were just getting back up. Ruby became coated in the same dark red aura as her brother as she began to create a vortex behind her, picking up all of the food and debris. With one final yell, Ruby activated her Semblance, >Petal Burst< and sped right past Team JNPR, Cassandra and Olympia. They tried to get away from the vortex but was caught up in it and were sent flying back. Ruby stopped before the back wall, decorating it with deep cracks before jumping out of the way of the vortex. Team JNPR, Cassandra and Olympia slammed into the cracked wall as all the food and debris collided with them. After it was over, Ruby landed in front of the new food-abstract painting behind her as Team JNPR, Cassandra and Olympia slid off of it.

At the entrance of the cafeteria, Sun and his teammate, Neptune stood, the latter looking upset as he was covered in food.

Sun: I love these guys.

The doors slammed open as a clearly angered Glynda Goodwitch stomped through before using her Semblance, >Telekinesis< to rearrange the cafeteria back to its normal state.

Glynda: Children, please. Do NOT play with your food!

Teams RWBY minus Yang, JNPR and LCOC gathered around a table as Nora and Cassandra unleashed a burp that would startle an Ursa.

Lazarus: Wait... Where's Yang?

Just on cue, Yang came crashing through the roof, landing next to her teammates and friends. They all began to laugh as Lazarus smiled and shook his head.

Lazarus: There she is.

Glynda watched with a scowl before Ozpin walked up to her and rested his hand on her shoulder.

Ozpin: Let it go.

Glynda: *sighs* They're supposed to be the protectors of the world.

Ozpin: And they will be, but right now they're still children. So why not let them play the part?

He began to walk away.

Ozpin: After all, it isn't a role they'll have for long.
