"Do NOT let her get away! Bring her down!"

The voice of the General of the Kingdom of Atlas, James Ironwood boomed throughout the Tundra of Solitas as he and his Atlesian soldiers chased after the fleeing girl; she's relatively short, with red hair tied in a ponytail, amber eyes and she had two silver bladed tipped tentacles protruding out of the back of her head. After dodging some bullets, a rocket it the ground below her, causing her to go flying and land painfully on the snow below her... With a groan and a scowl, she turned around to see Ironwood walking up to her, his white pistol pointed to her head.

Ironwood: It's best for you to surrender now and come back with us, Cassandra.

The girl, named Cassandra gritted her teeth tightly before her amber eyes began to glow.

Cassandra: So you'll torture me again!? Yeah, fuck right off! Sonic Scalpel!

She yelled as the tips of her tentacles fired off yellow beams of energy at the General, completely shattering his Aura within seconds and completely slicing off the right side of her chest, including his right arm. Blood splattered everywhere as Ironwood stumbled to the ground. Cassandra, seeing her opportunity of the Soldiers being distracted by the General, took off running again, but she didn't make it far as a collar contained with Lightning Dust latched onto her neck and began to electrocute her before she fell to the ground, unconscious.

???: Oh my. I must say you are undeniably strong, my dear Cassandra.

A blonde man wearing glasses said as he walked over to the unconscious  Cassandra and picked her up, bridal-style in his arms.

Ironwood: Zeke...

The man, named Zeke turned to looked at the downed General.

Zeke: Do not worry, General. I will make sure she doesn't escape again.

The blood curdling screams of Cassandra echoed throughout the dark and dreary laboratory as a girl with purple hair, red eyes and twin golden tails sat in a cage, hugging her knees out of anticipation. She had recognized the voice all too well. Cassandra was the girl most well known in the laboratory. She was the girl who always tried to figure out a way out but always failed. And her punishment would be more and more torturous experiments.

It was said Cassandra has no memory of who or what she is. The name Cassandra was given to her by the main scientist himself, Zeke. But, this girl, Cassandra had the blood of a Guardian Beast but the Beast in question made her dangerous, so she was the one most experimented on.

Scientist: Cassie.

Each time Cassandra would come back from their experiments, the worse she looked. Cassie, the girl with the purple hair and red eyes, would be the next after her. Her experiments were slightly less brutal, but that didn't mean they were alright. On this particular night, Cassandra and Cassie were in their respective cage. It was around this time, Cassie was getting tired of these repetitive experiments, so she wanted to get out, but she wanted to take Cassandra with her. So she turned to her red haired companion.

Cassie: Cassandra....! Are you awake?

The answer she got was a grunt... Due to the intensity of the experiments, there were some damaged dealt to Cassandra. Her vocal cords were damaged so she couldn't speak, only grunts, growls, hisses, etc. Her Guardian Beast abilities, more specifically her Sonic Scalpel, were heavily affected, or in other terms, nerfed significantly. Though, thankfully for Cassandra, she gained a new ability; Telepathic communication. Just by looking at a person in the eyes, both her and that person can communicate. So she made eye contact with Cassie.

Cassandra: I am. What's up?

Cassie: Each time you tried to escape on your own, you failed, right?

Cassandra: ...Right...? You don't need to remind me...

Cassie: I-I'm not! But, I have an idea.

Cassandra: *raises eyebrow* Oh...? What do you have in mind?

Cassie: Every time you tried to escape, you were on your own. So, why not escape together?

Cassandra: To...gether...?

Cassie: Yeah. One Guardian Beast isn't enough obviously, so why not the two of us escape together? We would have a much better chance at getting out of here!

Cassandra had not thought about that... She was always concerned with getting out but never with the most effective way to get out...

So the plan was simple on paper, get out of the cages then escape the lab. However, it will be harder. Zeke may not be in the lab at the time, but his scientists are and they are going to offer heavy resistance. So the two girls had one option... Fight their way out and kill anyone that gets in their way... After Cassandra used her heavily nerfed Sonic Scalpel to cut the cages open, they used the powerful abilities of Guardian Beasts whose blood are running in their veins, to fight their way out. They even unlocked their Auras and Semblances mid-fight, aiding them drastically. As Cassie gracefully danced around the battle, striking down any scientist that attempts to stop them, Cassandra was a wild animal, wildly and brutally ripping them from limb to limb. Finally, they made it out and were free... They had achieved... Freedom.

"Where do we go now, Cassie?"

"We go and start new lives... Let's go to Vale, Cassandra."
