(Lazarus' POV)

All I saw was pure darkness around me... The last thing I remembered... was Weiss' face before complete darkness... I was all alone in this void, none of my sisters, teammates or friends were present... Weiss was nowhere to be seen... I sighed, thinking that I was all alone again, just like before...

"Son."

My eyes widen upon hearing that voice... one that I never thought I'd hear after being taken into those mines... A bright blue light shined in front of me, forming into a familiar feminine figure with horns, like myself...

Me: M-Mom...?

I could faintly see her smile at me before...

"Soon, you're abilities will be awakened..."

Me: A-Abilities...? What are you talking about? You mean my Semblance?

Just then, she began to disappear again.

Me: W-Wait! Mom!

. . .

"Long Live the King"

. . .

My eyes shot open just as I felt a bit of a sting in my head... I groaned in pain and looked around the area, only to realize I was in Beacon's infirmary.

Me: What happened...?

???: Thank goodness... You're not dead, boss.

I slightly jolted from the loud voice but calmed down immediately when I saw it was Cassie, who was standing in front of my bed.

Me: Cassie...? How long was I out for...?

Cassie: Ever since last night and all of this morning. Don't worry, I took notes for you.

Me: Hm... Did we stop Roman?

Cassie suddenly got nervous and began rubbing the back of her head.

Cassie: Uh... Yes and No... Yes because his robot is completely scrapped and no because he slipped out of our fingers at the last second.

Me: For some reason I'm not surprised...

Cassie shook her head with a smile before I began to sit up but was prevented by a weight on my right arm. I looked over to see... Weiss? She was asleep on my arm...

Cassie: The moment we got you back, we were all very worried about you, especially Ruby, Yang and Cassandra.

That last name, caught me slightly by surprise

Me: Cassandra...?

Cassie sighed.

Cassie: She couldn't sleep well without clinging on to you all the damn time...

Me: Oh...

Cassie: We all took turns visiting you to see if you'd wake up, Ruby specifically made some cookies and a "wake up soon" card for you.

She pointed towards a bedside table, which had a small pink box. I took it up and opened it only to in fact see some chocolate chip cookies with a card next to them. I looked at it, only to find an adorable picture of my little sister. It made me smile internally.

Cassie: But surprisingly, Weiss there was by your side, 24/7. And I mean that, she never slept last night as she just watched you and this morning, she was still by your side, only with bags under her eyes. I guess she finally let the urge for sleep take her over.

I was shocked to hear that Weiss never left my side. I looked at her to see her sleeping petite figure before looking back at Cassie. Who was looking at her scroll.

Cassie: I should get back to class, else Professor Goodwitch would scold me... Well, rest well boss! The dance is coming soon, so you'll need to be at your best, especially for the Ice Queen here.

She winked at me, causing me to look away. She giggled before walking towards the door, but I stopped her.

Me: Cassie...?

She stopped and turned to look at me.

Me: Thanks.

She smiled.

Cassie: Anytime Laz.

And with that, she left the room. Just as she did, I heard quiet groaning next to me; it was Weiss, who slowly beginning to wake up. Her pale blue eyes fluttering open as she made an adorable face, yawning as she rubbed her eyes.

Weiss: G-Good morning...

I smiled at her.

Me: Good morning.

She yawned again, rubbing her eyes a bit more before looking at me. I assume she realized what was happening as her eyes widen from shock before she rubbed her eyes again and shook her head to get rid of all of the drowsiness. Once she looked at me again, the shame shocked expression.

Weiss: L-Laz...???

Me: Hello Weiss.

Weiss: I'm sorry!

Now that caught me off guard...

Me: Sorry for what...?

Weiss: I-I was too careless during that fight. And because of that, you had to take the consequences for me. If your Aura haven't had held up, t-then... t-then...

Me: Weiss...

I gently rested my hand on her cheek, causing her to look up at me, her eyes with tears running down from them... I smiled softly at her.

Me: You don't have to apologize because either way I would have done it in a heartbeat, just to ensure that you were safe.

Weiss: L-Laz... You dolt...

We both chuckled, Weiss wiping away her tears.

Me: So, why aren't you in class? It's not like you to skip class.

Weiss scoffed, signifying that she was going back to her normal personality.

Weiss: You really think I would risk going to class, only to have you wake up and do something reckless? Hmph! Tough luck!

Me: Heh... You were that worried about me?

Weiss: Wha!? No I wasn't you idiot! Don't get cocky just because I gave you the privilege of being your care taker for the past hours!

She crossed her arms pouting with her face turning a slight shade of red. Before anything else happened, the door to the infirmary slam open, revealing a very worried/excited Ruby. Upon seeing me awake, tears formed in her eyes before she sped towards me and pulled me into a tight embrace.

Ruby: *crying* YOU'RE OKAY! YOU'RE OKAY!!! THANK GOODNESS! I... I-I thought I lost you...

She was practically sobbing into my chest, holding onto me like I'd disappear the moment she does. I smiled and hugged her back, stroking the locks of her black and red hair gently.

Me: You won't lose my little sister... I promise... I'll always be there for you...

Ruby: *sniffling* B-Big Bro...

As I continued to hold her, I looked at Weiss, who smiled. I smiled back at her before we both noticed that the others, Yang, Blake, Cassie, Cassandra and Olympia were there at the door.

Yang: Laz you're awake!

Cassie: Told you I wasn't lying.

Yang sped over to me and grabbed onto my other side, hugging me tightly, but thankfully she wasn't suffocating me.

Me: Hey, Yang...

Olympia: Oh thank goodness!

Cassie: The time she came here, she was singing for you.

Olympia: *blushing* C-CASSIE!

Cassandra looked at me as Yang and Ruby finally let me go. She walked towards me before karate chopping me on my head, in between my horns.

Me: Ow...

But immediately after that, I felt her trembling. I looked up at her, only to see tears falling down her eyes as they glowed...

Cassandra telepathically: You absolute dumb motherfucker... Don't you EVER scare me like that again!

Then she latched herself to me, hugging me tightly. I shook my head with a smile and embraced her back. As we talked up, I noticed Blake being slightly distant, but, I couldn't stop thinking about what I saw... my mother...? And that sentence she said...

"Long Live the King..."

"...LOVE..."
CHAPTER 5: LET IT SNOW

(3rd Person POV)

After Lazarus was released from the infirmary, Teams RWBY and LCOC were walking through the school. Cassie in particularly looked at Blake, tapping her index fingers together, contemplating on asking her a question. Before she could however, Sun ran up to them.

Sun: Hey, Princess Olympia!

Olympia turned to face Sun, a blush appearing on her face.

Olympia: O-Oh! Hi Sun.

Cassie: Great... It's you...

Sun just ignored Cassie and walked up to Olympia.

Sun: You uh... doing okay?

Olympia: Y-Yes, I'm doing quite alright, thank you.

Sun: So I hear there's this dance going on this weekend... ah, sounds pretty lame but you and me, I'm thinking, not as lame, huh?

Olympia: U-Um...

Sun: The dance! This weekend! You wanna go or what? *eyes widen* O-Oh! I mean, would you like to accompany me to the dance, your highness?

Sun did his best to sound formal, causing Ruby to chuckle and Yang to smirk. Cassie just continued to glare daggers at him. Olympia seemed almost afraid to say anything, so she turned to Lazarus for confirmation, but he just ruffled of up her hair slightly.

Lazarus: I may be your "guard" Olympia, but you are your own person. Therefore, you're obligated to make your own decisions.

Olympia smiled at him before nodding and turning back to Sun, giving him her signature innocent and pure smile.

Olympia: I'd love to.

Excited, Sun pumped his fist into the air.

Sun: Yes! Score one for Sun!

Olympia: Ehehehe!

Cassie wanted to say something but decided against it seeing Olympia so happy. Then she turned to Blake who seemed on the verge of falling asleep.

Cassie: Uh... Blake!

Blake jolted awake and looked at the Ghidorah Hybrid, who was smiling nervously.

Blake: What?

Cassie: Well... I know it's a dumb question since we're already... you know, dating...

Yang: *whispering* This is so awkward...

Ruby: *whispering* Isn't Cassie usually the one teasing Blake?

Cassie: But I thought I might ask you anyways, ehehe...

Blake: Cassie... What is it?

Cassie: W-Well, do you wanna come to the dance with me and be my date?

Blake: I don't have time for a stupid dance. I thought you of all people would get that. After all, you "know" me better than anyone here.

Blake swiftly walked away, leaving everyone in a shocked state that she would say something like that to Cassie, her own girlfriend. Cassie's eyes showed a great amount of hurt as she looked down.

Cassie: Oh... I suppose you're right...

Hanging her head, Cassie walked off towards the dorms.

Weiss: Okay, that was unexpected...

Sun: Who would have thought that Blake would turn down her own girlfriend?

Ruby: We'll go talk to her.

Lazarus: I'll come with you girls. Olympia, Cassandra, go see if Cassie's alright...

Olympia: Right chief!

Blake: You what?

Ruby: We want you to go to the dance.

In Team RWBY's dorm room, Ruby, Yang, Weiss and Lazarus were trying to convince Blake to put her investigation on hold.

Blake: That's ridiculous.

Yang: Blake, we're worried about you. This investigation is starting to mess with your head.

Weiss: You can't sleep, you hardly eat and to be honest, your grades have been suffering.

Blake: You think I care about grades!? People's lives are at sake!

Yang: We know, and we're all still trying to figure out what Torchwick is up to.

Ruby: Thanks to you, Cassie and Sun, we know they're operating somewhere outside southeast Vale.

Weiss: And, the Schnee Company records singled out Vale as the primary target for Dust robberies over the last few months.

Yang: Don't forget about their missing military tech too.

Blake: But there're still unanswered questions!

Ruby: Blake, you won't be able to find anything if you can't keep your eyes open!

Yang: All we're asking is that you take it easy for one day.

Weiss: It will be fun! Yang, Olympia and I will make sure of it.

Yang: Yeah! We're planning the whole event!

Blake: Excuse me?

Weiss: Team CFVY's away mission lasted longer than expected.

Yang: So, Weiss, Olympia and I were asked to pick up where they left off. And now, we can make sure you AND Cassie have a perfect night.

Weiss: And once it's all over, we'll return for our search, rested and ready.

Ruby: So, what do you think?

Blake: ...I think this is a colossal waste of time.

She got up and briskly left. Yang sighed as Ruby looked on in worry and Weiss and Lazarus exchanged worried expressions.

Yang: Great.

Weiss: She can't keep going like this...

There was a knock on the door. Weiss answered it only to be sorely disappointed with who it was; Jaune with a guitar

Jaune: WEISS~!

Weiss immediately slammed the door in his face.

Jaune: Oh come on, open the door! I promise won't sing!

Weiss sighed and reluctantly opened the door and Jaune began singing...

Jaune: I lied! Weiss Schu-nee, will you accompany me, to the dance on... Sunday!?

Lazarus with his arms crossed deadpanned with a cartoonish tick of anger popping over his head.

Weiss: ... Are you done?

Jaune: Yes?

Weiss: No.

Weiss slammed the door in his face before turning to look at the others who were all looking at her.

Weiss: What?

Yang: And that is why they call you the Ice Queen!

Ruby fell off of the bed as Lazarus shook his head.

Weiss: All my life, boys have only cared about the perks of my last name. Besides, I already have a date in mind.

Lazarus raised an eyebrow at that statement before quietly sighing and looking down before walking out of the room.

Ruby: Laz??

He just ignored her and continued on his way, leaving a confused Weiss and Ruby as Yang sighed.

Currently in the Ballroom, Ruby sat solemnly at a table as Olympia flew around the room, putting up decorations. Suddenly, Weiss slammed two table cloths in front of her.

Weiss: I need you to pick a tablecloth!

Ruby took one glance at them but fell confused.

Me: Aren't they both the same?

Weiss just sighed annoyingly at her.

Weiss: I don't even know why I asked...

Weiss walked away as Yang walked next to Ruby, holding a large speaker before dropping said speaker on the ground, creating a large thud that managed to lift both Ruby and her table off the ground.

Yang: So, have you picked out a dress yet?

Ruby: *sigh* What's the point? Who cares about the dance if Blake isn't going...?

Yang: Oh don't worry, Blake's going. I managed to convince Laz to go!

Ruby raised an eyebrow.

Ruby: You got Laz to go...?

Yang: Yup! Just need to work on the kitty now! *notices Weiss* Weiss! I thought we agreed no doilies!

Weiss: If I don't get doilies, you don't get fog machines!

???: You're dance is going to have fog machines?

They turned to see Sun and Neptune walk in, the latter being the one who asked the question. Weiss immediately changed her demeanor.

Weiss: We were thinking about it...

Neptune: That's pretty cool.

Yang rolled her eyes upon hearing this.

Sun: You ladies all excided for dress up?

Ruby: Pfft, yeah right.

Yang: Laugh all you want, I'll be turning head tomorrow night.

Weiss: So, what are you two wearing?

Sun: Uh... This?

Neptune: Ignore him, for he knows not what he says.

Sun: Hey, I may have moved to Mistral but I grew up in Vacuo. It's not exactly the shirt and tie kinda place.

Weiss: We've noticed.

Olympia: Don't worry Sun! Either way, you'll still look handsome!

Olympia said that with an innocent smile causing Sun to chuckle with a slight blush.

Sun: Heh, thanks' Princess. *notices Blake is nowhere to be found* So, uh... what does Blake think of all this? She still being... y'know... Blake-y?

Weiss: *sighs* Obviously.

Ruby: I just can't think of a way to change her mind.

Yang: Guys, trust me. Blake WILL be going to the dance. I have a plan.

Sun: What about Cassie? She doing...?

Olympia: Cassandra took her out shopping for a dress. Cassie seemed depressed, which was really scary... but hopefully she'll be okay...

Sun nodded as Neptune walked up to Weiss with a sly smile.

Neptune: So Snow Angle, you thought of a date for the dance yet?

Weiss seemed flattered.

Weiss: I- OW! Hey!

But interrupting her was Yang to bonked her on her head, shooting Neptune a passive aggressive smile.

Yang: "Snow Angel" here is currently busy, playboy.

Since Olympia was helping Yang and Weiss with decorations and Cassandra took Cassie out to get a dress, Lazarus sat on his bed in his dorm alone, hanging his head.

(Flashback)

Lazarus: You want me to do what Yang?

Yang had followed after Lazarus after he left her room. Now they were both standing on the side of the school.

Yang: I want you to come to the dance! You need to have fun every now and then, bro! I mean, you took part in the food fight!

Lazarus: Yang, what's the real reason?

Yang:*sigh* So persistent... I know you don't feel like going because you have a feeling Weiss isn't going to want to go with you.

Lazarus just stayed quiet.

Yang: I know what you're thinking, "What's the point on going if all your going to do is sit around and do nothing" I get that, but I promise you, Weiss WILL be your date. YOU will just have to put some work into winning her over. You two seem close already, so it shouldn't be hard at all!

Lazarus sighed and looked at his sister who had a big smile plastered over her face. Suddenly, she grabbed his hand and began to drag him away.

Lazarus: Y-Yang...!

Yang: Come on you big baboon, let's go get yourself a suit!

Lazarus: Suit...?

Yang: Of course! You HAVE to look formal!

(End of Flashback)

Lazarus slowly looked up to see the suit Yang forced him to buy, hanging from the closet before looking back down at his hands... An image of Weiss smiling flashed through his head before he sighed and got up.

Lazarus: Not like I have a chance arguing against Yang. Might as well go just to spare me of a blazing assault of punches...

Weiss stood in front of Neptune, a nervous blush appearing on her face.

Weiss: I know this is a little unorthodox but... I wanted to ask you something. Would you... like to accompany me to the dance tomorrow?

Lazarus let out a frustrated sigh as he struggled to tie his tie around his neck.

Lazarus: Who had the genius idea of coming up with literal neck-traps?

A knock on his door ended his struggling. When he opened it, he saw Ruby struggling to maintain her balance thanks to the heels she wore with her adorable dress.

Ruby: Stupid lady stilts... *notices Lazarus* A-Ah! Laz. Are you ready for the dance?

Lazarus: I guess I am – Who's bright idea was it to make ties so damn frustrating??

Ruby giggled.

Ruby: You're not the only one having trouble. These stupid shoes that Weiss wanted me to wear... My feet are K.I.L.L.I.N.G me! *sigh* Here, let me help you with that tie.

When Lazarus handed Ruby the tie, she reached up and swiftly and simply tied it around his neck.

Ruby: You look amazing by the way!

Lazarus: Thanks... Honestly, seeing you dress up all girly throws me off but it's not bad either. You look cute.

Ruby: R-Really? Thanks, ehehe! *finishes with the tie* There! C'mon, or we'll be more later that we already are.

Lazarus: *sighs* Right...

The two left the dorms and began to make their way towards the Ballroom, but along the way, Ruby nearly tripped multiple times. Lazarus saw this and stopped her before crouching before her, with his back facing her.

Lazarus: Hop on. It'll be better if you get to the ballroom without a broken ankle first, wouldn't you say?

Ruby looked embarrassed but giggled nonetheless before climbing on her brother's back.

Ruby: Yeah.

The doors to the ballroom opened up as Yang looked up only to be in delight at the sight of both Ruby and Lazarus dressed formally. She addressed her little sister first.

Yang: Ooohhh, you look beautiful!

Lazarus gently set his sister down from his back.

Ruby: Can we have a serious talk about how Weiss fights in these things!?

Lazarus: That's a good question... If she's doing it to make herself look taller, then it's not working as she's shorter that you, even with heals on.

Ruby: I know right!?

Yang shook her head before looking at Lazarus.

Yang: Looking spicy Bro!

Lazarus: Uh, thanks I guess... You look nice as well, sis.

Yang: *confident* Tell me something I don't know!

Lazarus: Alright. You got pulled over 20 time from driving Bumblebee like a maniac.

Ruby immediately burst out in laughter as Yang pouted.

Yang: TAKE THAT BACK! That's not true!

Lazarus: You told me to tell you something you don't know, and I delivered.

Yang: Hmph.

Yang pouted before turning around and spotting Weiss sitting among the crowd. With a smirk, Yang grabbed her brother by the arm and began to drag him towards the heiress.

Yang: Come on!

Lazarus: Y-Yang...???

Weiss sat by herself, humming a sweet tune to herself before noticing Yang and Lazarus approaching her. She smiled brightly as Yang presented her bother to her.

Weiss: Good seeing you here.

Lazarus: Uh right. Same to you.

He rubbed the back of his head in a slightly nervous matter. Weiss' attire was almost too much for him to handle; she wore a white and light blue dress with detached sleeves.

Yang's thoughts: Damn, who would have thought Lazarus of all people would be embarrassed like this.

Yang thought as she walked away back to the entrance. Weiss put her index and thumb to her chin before inspecting Lazarus' sit.

Weiss: Hmm... Who knew a Vampire could look this good in formal clothes.

Lazarus: *sweat drops* Somehow I feel offended...

Weiss: *giggles* You look handsome.

Lazarus blushed lightly.

Lazarus: Thanks... You look beautiful as well, Weiss.

Weiss smiled, playfully punching his shoulder.

Weiss: Why thank you. Well, see you in the party.

Weiss waved happily at him before walking off into the crowd.

Lazarus: Weiss-!

Unfortunately for him, his voice was blocked out by the crowd and music. He sighed as he lost sight of Weiss before looking at the stairs and walking up them.

Meanwhile outside the ballroom, as students entered, Sun could be seen, struggling with a tie.

Sun: Stupid neck-traps...

???: Sun!

Sun turned around only to god smacked by Olympia's appearance, wearing a beautiful long white and black dress. She twirled around and did a princess-like bow.

Olympia: How do I look?

Sun blushed, rubbing the back of his head nervously.

Sun: Beautiful... You look amazing Princess.

Olympia blushed and giggled.

Olympia: Thank you. You look handsome. Now I believe we have a dance to get to.

She offered her arm to him. Sun nervously looped his arm with hers before the two began to walk towards the ballroom. As that happened, Cassie watched from the sidelines, wearing a white and golden dress with a green ribbon on the back.

She sat on a bench, looking happy for Olympia but soon after, down in sadness...

???: Did I keep you waiting?

Cassie looked up, only to be shocked to Blake, in a gorgeous black and gold dress with beautiful patterns in the fabric.

Cassie: B-Blake...?

Blake smiled sweetly at her before offering a hand to her. Cassie was hesitant but accepted nonetheless, standing on her feet. Immediately after standing up, Blake embraced her tightly, catching her off guard.

Blake: I'm sorry Cassie... What I said... I-I wasn't thinking... And I hurt your feelings... All I ask you for is your forgiveness...

Cassie was shocked... She slowly broke the embrace Blake had her in, having her fret that Cassie decided otherwise but what she didn't expect was for Cassie to smash her lips against hers. Blake immediately kissed back and the two engaged in a passionate and slightly heated kiss before pulling away. Both of their faces were red but Cassie smiled, slightly deviously.

Cassie: Tell you what. After this dance, you can make it up to me in a "different" way~

Blake knew what she meant and smiled back.

Blake: You have a deal~

The two began to walk towards the ballroom hand in hand.

Blake: But I will let you know, my first dance is already spoken for.

In the Ballroom, Cassandra walked up to the entrance, wearing a black and red short dress as Blake and Cassie entered.

She smiled brightly at seeing her sister back to her happy self before looking at Yang, who was in a black, white and purple with golden trim dress.

She watched as the blonde took Blake to the dance floor, all the while shooting her a quick wink.

Yang: You're my partner for the rest of the night, demon baby!

Cassandra blushed at her comment as Cassie walked up to her, offering her hand.

Cassie: Shall we, dear sister?

Cassandra smiled and accepted the offer before the two went to the dance floor. The camera panned around the ballroom as the student danced to the music. Yang and Blake danced next to Cassie and Cassandra before.

Yang: Switch partners!

Yang and Cassie spun their respective partners over to each other before they began to dance with their actual partners, Blake with Cassie and Yang with Cassandra. Olympia could be seen dancing gracefully with Sun who managed to keep his cool.

Ruby on the other hand, could be seen talking to a certain male winged Faunus with pearl white hair and red eyes, the two laughing with each other.

Weiss on the other hand, sat on her lonesome while Neptune tried flirting with other girls. Pyrrha could be seen walking up the stairs with Jaune quickly following. The scene then changed to show Lazarus on a balcony, looking up at the shattered moon in the sky with emotionless eyes, like his normal self. He sighed drily before lowering his head.

Lazarus: ...

(Flashbacks)

Weiss: Right... Thank you, Lazarus. I'll go talk to her, later.

Weiss: I'm not going anywhere, anytime soon Laz. So don't worry.

Weiss: And thank you... For not judging me based off the crumbling reputation of my Surname.

Every time he saw her smiling face, he could feel his heart rate increase...

Lazarus: What are these feelings...?

"It's call love, my son"

He gasped upon hearing the familiar female voice...

Lazarus: M-Mom...?

"What are you doing standing there?? Go back in there and win her heart over!"

He heard the determination in her voice and looked back up to the moon, only to see the smiling face of his mother...

Lazarus: Mom...

After a short while, he too began to smile.

Lazarus: Right. I have I Snowflake to catch.

Lazarus turned around and walked back into the ballroom. He pushed through the crowd, looking for his one. Out of his corner of his eyes, he caught Yang, Olympia, Cassie, Cassandra, Ren, Nora, Sun, Pyrrha and Jaune who was in a dress smiling at him; he even caught a glimpse of Ozpin smiling at him.

Yang: Go win her, bro!

Everything seemed to slow down as Lazarus squeezed through the last crowd blockade, spotting Weiss sitting by herself. Weiss spotted him and shot him a sweet smile. He slowly came to a halt in front of her, causing her to give him her full attention my fully turning to face him. Lazarus took a deep breath in, before offering his hand to the heiress...

Lazarus: Care to have this dance?

Weiss' expression brightened up significantly with a blush before she took his hand.

Weiss: I'd love to.

The two slowly made their way to a slightly vacant stop on the dance floor before fully facing each other. Lazarus carefully put one hand on the heiress' waist and held her hand with the other as she put her free hand on his shoulder before the two began to step to the rhythm of the slow paced music. Weiss: I'm surprised at how good you are at this.

Lazarus: Well, I grew up with Yang who forced me a lot to go to a dance club with her, since Ruby was too young back then. So I naturally picked up on the concept of dancing.

Weiss giggled lightly at his response.

Weiss: Now that you explain it, it makes a lot of sense.

Weiss slowly leaned her head against Lazarus' chest as the two continued to slow dance...

Weiss: This is... really nice...

Lazarus: Yeah... For once in my life, I've never felt so relaxed... I actually wouldn't mind doing this again...

The two continued before Weiss began to speak again...

While her face was as red as an apple, Weiss giggled, all the while wrapping her hands around his neck.

Lazarus: What? You don't like it?

Lazarus teased, tightening his grip around her waist.

Lazarus: *chuckles* You got me there, Snowflake.

Weiss: You gonna keep talking, or are you going to kiss me already, Blood sucker?

Lazarus: Heh, if that's what you desire, Ice Queen.

With nothing left to say, the two leaned in closely and finally locked lips with one another, engaging in a powerful and blissful kiss. The excited shouting of Yang and Nora could be heard as the Vampire and Heiress deepened their kiss.

Nora: FINALLY!!!

Yang: THAT'S MY BIG BROTHER! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!!!

Others began to look at the beautiful and blissful display as the music intensified in volume... Slowly, the camera panned away and out of the ballroom before panning upwards to show off the broken moon, with the ethereal figure of Lazarus' mother smiling before disappearing into the night...
