Paige
A/N: I don't own South Park or Beauty and the Beast. I only own Paige Moore. There will be changes to this story, so please bear with me and let me know if you like it!

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, a young prince lived in a shining castle. Although he had everything his heart desired, the prince was spoiled, selfish, and unkind. But then, one winter's night, an old beggar woman came to the castle and offered him a single rose in return for shelter from the bitter cold. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince sneered at the gift and turned the old woman away, but she warned him not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within.
And when he dismissed her again, the old woman's ugliness melted away to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince tried to apologize, but it was too late, for she had seen that there was no love in his heart, and as punishment, she transformed him into a hideous beast, and placed a powerful spell on the castle, and all who lived there.
Ashamed of his monstrous form, the beast concealed himself inside his castle, with a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world. The rose she had offered was truly an enchanted rose, which would bloom until his twenty-first year. If he could learn to love another, and earn her love in return by the time the last petal fell, then the spell would be broken. If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time. As the years passed, he fell into despair, and lost all hope, for who could ever learn to love a beast?

A beautiful young woman with her basket, her blond hair in a loose braid and hung over her shoulder, her brown eyes shined brightly as her blue dress swung back and fourth as she walked into town. Her white apron hung around her waist tightly. She opened her mouth and began singing, her British accent evident in her voice.
"Little town, it's a quiet village. Every day, like the one before; little town, full of little people - waking up to say..."
The windows and doors began to open as people began to say; "Bonjour!" "Bonjour!" "Bonjour!" "Bonjour!" "Bonjour!"
"There goes the baker with his tray like always, the same old bread and rolls to sell. Every morning just the same since the morning that we came to this poor, provincial town."
"Good morning, Paige!"
Paige's ears perked up at the sound of her name, she turns to the man with a smile on her face. "Good morning, Monsieur Jean." She greeted back, raising a brow at him. "Have you lost something again?"
"Well, I believe I have. Problem is, I've- I can't remember what." Jean answered confused looking around for it but shook his head and turned to the young woman. "Oh well, I'm sure I'll remember. Where are you off too?"
"To return this book to Père Robert." Paige answered with a small smile. "It's about two lovers in Fair Verona."
Jean rolls his eyes watching her walk off. "Sounds boring."
Paige continues her journey to the little library. "Look there she goes, that girl is strange, no question." "Dazed and distracted, can't you tell?" "Never part of any crowd 'cause her head's up on some cloud." "No denying she's a funny girl that Paige."
"Bonjour!, good day! How is your family?" "Bonjour!, good day! How is your wife?" "I need six eggs! That's too expensive!"
Paige opens her mouth once more to sing. "There must be more than this provincial life!"
When she walks in she hears Père Robert greet her. "Ahh, if it isn't the only bookworm in town." She smiles at him. "So, where did you run off to this week?"
"Two cities in Northern Italy." She answered him. "I didn't want to come back. Have you got any new places to go?"
Père Robert shakes his head sadly. "I'm afraid not... But you may re-read any of the old ones that you'd like."
Paige grabs one of the books and smiles at him. "Your library makes our small corner of the world feel big."
Père Robert smiles her way and waves as she leaves. "Bon voyage!"
"Look there she goes, the girl is so peculiar. I wonder if she's feeling well." "With a dreamy, far-off look, and her nose stuck in a book." "What a puzzle to the rest of us is Paige."
Paige sat down near the fountain with her nose in the book. "Oh, isn't this amazing? It's my favorite part because—you'll see~" She dragged the note a little bit with a smile on her face, she couldn't help but feel happy when she reads. "Here's where she meets Prince Charming but she won't discover that it's him 'til Chapter Three!"
She got up and began walking once more.
"Now it's no wonder that her name means "Beauty" Her looks have got no parallel." "But behind that fair facade, I'm afraid she's rather odd." "Very diff'rent from the rest of us-" "-She's nothing like the rest of us-" "-Yes, diff'rent from the rest of us is Paige!"
Panning up from Paige, the two men riding horses down the hill, one smiles big seeing her walking around with her book. "Look at her Butters- my future wife." The first one began speaking. "Paige is the most beautiful girl in the village. That makes her the best."
"But she's so... well read." Butters began looking at him. "And you're so... athletically inclined."
Cartman nods sighing. "Yes... But ever since the war, I've felt like I've been missing something. And she's the on'y girl that gives me that sense of..."
Butters looks at him. "Mmm... Je ne sais quoi?"
Cartman huffs. "I don't know what that means..." Cartman begins singing. "Right from the moment when I met her, saw her, I said "she's gorgeous" and I fell. Here in town, there's only she who is beautiful as me. So I'm making plans to woo and marry Paige."
"Look there he goes, isn't he dreamy?" "Monsieur Gaston, oh, he's so cute!" "Be still, my heart I'm hardly breathing." "He's such a tall, dark, strong and handsome brute!"
Cartman got off his horse to get to Paige who is walking still, ignoring everyone behind her. Her loose braid hitting her back gently. "There must be more than this provincial life!"
"Just watch I'm going to make Paige my wife!"
"Look there she goes, that girl is strange but special. A most peculiar mademoiselle!" "It's a pity and a sin, she doesn't quite fit in, 'cause she really is a funny girl." "A beauty but a funny girl, she really is a funny girl-" "-That Paige!"
Turning around, Paige sees everyone staring at her, and then they go about their daily things. Paige rolls her eyes, and then jumps when she sees Cartman in front of her. "Oh, Cartman..."
"Hello, Paige." Cartman says grabbing her book and looks at it. "How can you read this? There's no pictures."
"Well, some people use their imaginations." Paige says ripping her book back and keeps her smile.
"Paige, it's about time you got your head out of those books-" Cartman said trying to grab it again, but Paige keeps it away from him. "-and paid attention to more important things...like me! The whole town's talking about it." Paige glares at him. "It's not right for a woman to read--soon she starts getting ideas... and thinking."
"Cartman," Paige began. "You're positively primeval."
Cartman grins putting his hands on her shoulders, making her tense up. "Why thank you, Paige. Hey, whaddya say you and me take a walk over to the tavern and have a look at my hunting trophies."
"Maybe some other time, I must get home." Paige said and begins to walk home quickly trying to get away from Cartman ignoring the whispers behind her.
