7 ~ Being Yours...Legally ~

Flashback...

Arnav's Penthouse...

Kitchen...

The moment Sheetal turned in her heel Arnav immediately keep a distance with Khushi but continued the drama. "Come here you naughty girl," Arnav said while grinning ear to ear and in reply Khushi stuck out her tongue while showing the rolling pin to Arnav and giggled. The door of kitchen was slightly open and From the corner of his eyes Arnav saw Sheetal still is standing in the living room.. Smirking Arnav said loudly, " Now come on baby...give me a Kiss...you are looking so ....ummm..." Khushi roll her eyes seeing Arnav conversing himself and making that worried sound, but capturing Arnav gesture Khushi got the clue and "Uff...Arnav...ahhh...Ar..Arnav...ahh...ummm" while chewing some strawberry, Khushi produces those sounds. And unknowingly to Khushi, her so called innocent act creates a great impact on two persons.

Sheetal was fuming with jealousy and finally left the house unable to hear something more .. But Arnav Ray was literally was in deep trouble.. He felt his heart is racing like Rajdhani speed , he is feeling his throat gets dry and a ache is settling over his heart as well as he is feeling so turn on..

His trance was broken when he felt something on his face, looking forward he found that Khushi is throwing strawberry pieces towards him and giggling..

What the heck is actually going on? Arnav thought himself, this tiny girl is making him lose himself, but it felt good. Arnav suddenly realised he is actually enjoying Khushi's company and after so long he felt light...

Before his thought proceed further, Arnav found Khushi had again thrust the vegetables tray on his hand and sweetly telling him, " please help me dear fiancé to prepare dinner" while continuously eating strawberry after strawberry and battling her eye lashes.

Arnav Could not hold himself but laughed out loud, " Okay....my sweetheart...I am at your service" ..

"You look so carefree ...and your smile is so pure.. Always keep smiling Arnav." Khushi said genuinely looking at Arnav's face.

"Then make me smile like the way you did now." Arnav says immediately.

Khushi looked at Arnav and held his eyes. After few moments breaking the serenity, Arnav spoke, "let's make the dinner. I am really very HUNGRY, Khushi.."

And as he guess, blushed adorned Khushi's beautiful face making Arnav smile too.

After 1 hour...

Arnav was licking his fingers after finishing the dinner.. He really enjoyed the food prepared by Khushi. After so long, Arnav felt as if he is in home.. Though his Nani, Mama, Mami, Akash and Payal were there and took care of him always, but there was something missing...and today Arnav realised what it was..

It was the WARMTH... the warmth, the way Khushi handled the whole situations, the way she cared for him, stand by him, protected him from another breakdown and self harm, is really commendable..

Arnav is now sure, he will get Advay's custody because he has Khushi with him...

Another 30 minutes later...

Arnav and Khushi headed towards their respective room after reaching at Ray Mansion, which was side by side. It was already late at night and every other members already felt asleep.

Both Arnav and Khushi stand still infront of their respective rooms before entering and suddenly turned towards each other and uttered at a same time, " Did you said something?"

Both of them then looked each other and smiled awkwardly. Finally Arnav came infront of Khushi. Khushi looked at Arnav, she did not realise why she is suddenly feeling so restless, she was yarning for his touch, she was expecting to be in Arnav's arms, and this realisation made Khushi ashamed but she could not control her heartbeats which is racing loudly. Closing her eyes, Khushi was about to turn but halted feeling a tug in her wrist.. In her closed eyes, she cherished the touch of the man which she was yearning for long... Turning her around Arnav make her to face him, then looking at her eyes he whispered, " Sleep well Khushi, tomorrow is our big day, I hope you remember along with engagement we will get our marriage register tomorrow and I want my bride should have stress free sleep today." Saying so Arnav left Khushi's hand and unknowingly Khushi left a sigh. But her eyes closed again and she shivered when she felt his rough lips brushed on her hair. Opening her eyes Khushi looked at Arnav and Arnav too looked at her without blinking. As if understanding her unsaid words, Arnav slowly cupped her face and placed a long, lingering kiss on Khushi's forehead.

After few moments when they make a distance, Arnav whispered to Khushi, "ab thik hai?" ( is it alright now?)

Smiling Khushi nodded her head and run towards her room blushing profusely.

" Pagal ladki" ( crazy girl) Arnav murmured but a smiled was plastered his lips and slowly he also entered in his room.

But before going to sleep Arnav make few urgent calls. This time he will deal the matter with his brain not with his heart. So, it's necessary to find out why Sheetal came unannounced to his penthouse. After instructing Aman, his PA come friend when Arnav finally cut the call, a satisfactory smile shown his face and finally he closed his eyes when sleep immediately took over him.

Next day Morning....

Ray Mansion was full of hustle and bustle, every members of the house were on their toes looking after either one or other preparations. After all this is the day of engagement of Arnav Singh Raizada with his lady love.

" Anjali would have been so happy if she was here today" Devyani Ray could not control her tears remembering her deceased granddaughter.

" Please don't cry sasuma. Today should be full of joy, after all happiness has knocked in our door finally. I am sure Khushi will give us back our Chotey.." Manorama said with full of adoration for the girl who at present was holding Advay close to her heart and feeding her.

"You are right maa, just look at Khushi and Advay together, they just look as mother son in real.. Arnav finally choose the right girl for him.." It was Akash who second his mother thoughts and immediately Payal too added, " And I am sure Arnav Bhai will won the custody battle and get Advay home permanently. When that day will come, I will slap that Sheetal..."

" Cool down Payal, don't worry everyone has to pay for their sins, one way or other. Sheetal thought she will torture Arnav but now, just look at Arnav, he is so much in love with Khushi that literally he forgot about his surrounding, even his first wife.. office".. Akash said smiling.

Indeed, the other family members could not help but agreed that, Khushi had the charm and capabilities to Change their Arnav , infact she already did. Otherwise, in their wildest dream also, none of them thought that Arnav will ever agreed for marriage.. But here Arnav not only agreed but also accepted to perform all the rituals..

" okay...hurry everyone, complete your chit chat, we have lots of work to do. Few hours are remaining to start the event." Mamaji reminded everyone.

Upstair in Guestroom....

Khushi was cuddling with Advay, this cute little boy had stole her heart within few days and the way he , demanding Khushi's attention every second, just too adorable..But Khushi sigh , what will happen after six month? How will she detached herself from this cute little bundle of joy?

Khushi's monologue was broken by a slow tap on her face. Looking ahead Khushi could not control her smile, because Advay was looking at her with a little frown on his small forehead.

" What my boy is thinking?" Khushi placed a kiss on his chubby cheek.

" Adu yol boy?" Advay asked curiously instead.

" Yes, My baby.. My lovely, cute baby...and your angel loves you a lot" Khushi again kiss on his cheek.

" Adu lob Antel...mole" Advay smiled ear to ear and give a sloppy kiss on Khushi's lips.

Khushi nuzzled in his cheek and Advay giggled more uttering, " Adu lob Antel.."

" Ohhh... so, Adu forgot about his Dada?" Arnav's deep husky voice drew the attention of both the person and they uttered simultaneously,

"DA..DA.."

"Arnav..."

The moment Arnav sat on the bed Advay almost jumped on his and placed a sloppy kiss on his lips too. In return Arnav showered him with loads of kisses. Giggling Advay again hopped in Khushi's lap and kiss her, in return got showered by kisses ...

And it continued for few times... Advay was enjoying the love, affections, care he was getting from both his DADA and his Angel...

Suddenly like a rhythm Advay blabber,

"Adu lob da..da, da..da lub adu

Adu lob Antel,...Antel lub Adu...

Da..da lub Antel...Antel..lub Dada..."

Then Advay paused a little and frown.. As if he is in deep thought. Then Advay went to Arnav and sat on his laps, but his next question makes both Arnav and Khushi dumbstruck.

" Da...da lob An..tel?" Advay asked with so much hope shining in his eyes that Arnav got dumbstruck what to answer. Looking at Khushi's eyes Arnav raised his brow as if asking what to answer. Khushi's sparkling eyes and soft smile settled Arnav's heart and he answered, " Yes, My baby ...Dada loves your Angel very much.... You are dada's heart and Your Angel is your dada's heartbeat."

Throughout the confession though Arnav pecked Advay few times but his intense gaze never left KHUSHI and his heart felt with contentment seeing the pink hue spread over her face.

Their little moment was broken by the knock on the door, It was Payal standing there. With a smile Payal spoke, " the beautician has come. Khushi only three hours left, you have to get ready and Arnav Bhai, Nani has called you."

Nodding his head Arnav left the room with Advay but smiled looking at Khushi in which Khushi's eyes twinkle a little..

Only, three more hours, she will be going officially his, Khushi will be officially Arnav's...and this thought itself trembled her with unknown emotions.

The guest has started to arrived, Ray Mansion itself looking alive after so long. The marriage register has come and the rest of the Ray family members looking after the guest and the preparations.

Devyani Ray stands straight when her eyes caught a man entering with his family. He is none other than Arunoday Mallik, her ex son in law, Arnav and Anjali's father and her Ratna's husband, who indirectly murdered her daughter.

Arunoday, Kamini, Veer and Sheetal came forward while Devyani and Manorama greeted them. Whatever enmity they are having in between them, but today Arunoday and his family is their guest and it cannot be ignored that he is Arnav's biological father.

Arnav's blood boiled to see the persons face whom he vowed to never see again but his Nani took a promise earlier not to create a scene, so he kept quiet. But his trance was broken when he left suddenly the commotion had stopped. Following everyone gaze Arnav looked forward and felt his breath got hitch in his throat.

Clad in a green saree, with a minimal make up and jewellery, Khushi was descending the stairs with Advay holding in her arms. Advay was looking like a little prince in his Sherwani and the smile in his face is priceless. Arnav thought to himself, " true, it's so true, a child needs his mother most.. and there is no denial that Khushi had unknowingly took the role of Advay's mother within few days successfully."

Arnav took few long stride and reached at stairs, softly he extended his hand to hold Khushi's.

And the moment Arnav hold Khushi's hand along with took Advay, it was looking so perfect for everyone. They were looking perfect parents and too good together. And Arnav realised the bitterness which he felt seeing Arunodoy and his family few moments back, just no more present there. Instead a feeling of serene and completeness took over him..

Soon, Arnav and Khushi exchanged the ring and signed the court paper. Arnav slowly bring Khushi's hands towards his lips and kiss it lightly. Looking at her face Arnav spoke softly, "Welcome to my life, Mrs Khushi Basu Ray."

Khushi shivered a little feeling his heated gaze on her and the intensity of his words forms a knot in her stomach. She again felt the whirlpool of emotions looking at the brown orbs which if full of affection, care and dare she claim as love too??

Their eye lock was broken by the cute baby voice of Advay, " Da..da, An..tel...Adu lob you.." and he almost jumped towards Arnav and Khushi. Taking Advay in his arms Arnav extends his one arm towards Khushi which she took happily and then placed a soft kiss of Advay cheek and Arnav pecked Advay's forehead at the same time and both of them said in unison, "dada and angel loves you Adu..."

Khushi had already formed a beautiful bond with Arnav and Advay. Now being legally wedded to Arnav, Khushi felt so complete. At this moment cocooned in Arnav's arms and cuddling with Advay, Khushi felt ultimately secured...and a new found warmth flooded her heart while she whispered herself, " being yours legally I felt secure.."

" and I felt calm and complete" came an instant reply from Arnav whose brown orbs successfully captured Khushi's hazel orbs...

May be for six months ...

Or...

May be for forever......
