A week pass since everything and Kaveh was adjusting well to everything nobody knew anything and Kaveh spent most of his time in the kamisato
While Ayato did his work.

And today as Kaveh was outside sitting on a bench thinking about he sign himself into.

And during this Ayaka walked over to him and said sitting next to him.

Ayaka : can I ask why you did this Kaveh?"

Kaveh : i.....how did you know?"

Ayaka : wasn't hard to figure out. But I want to know how my brother convinced you to do this?"

Kaveh : .....I wanted to help him .....and we'll mora was the other reason"

Ayaka : so he's paying you to be his wife?"

Kaveh : just for a year "

Ayaka : are you really doing this for mora?"

Kaveh : heh....at the moment I do need the mora i......I'm in debt.....a few of them actually.....don't have a mora to my name...."

Ayaka : I get the feeling there's another reason you agreed to do this?"

Kaveh : .....things aren't exactly great back home.....this is kinda like a vacation from all that......the mora would also help me start fresh"

Ayaka : well I hope things go well for you. And I'll help you with things around here."

Kaveh : thank you."

Ayaka : also if you need help with outfits I can assist. I know this must not be comfortable wearing these clothes"

Kaveh : despite feeling my lungs be stabbed with my own ribcage I'm alright. Yet it takes awhile and he sure seems to complain about it"

Ayaka : he means well despite how he might act sometimes"

Kaveh : so far I haven't seen the good side"

Ayaka : he tends to mess with people but I think he respects you. He doesn't just trust anyone yet trusted you. That means something"

Kaveh : or I'm just helpless and desperate enough to do this....."

Ayaka : don't think that way about yourself"

Kaveh :......"

Meanwhile as they were talking Ayato was passing by and saw them talking so he stopped and listened in.

Ayaka : a few days before this arrangement I remember seeing walk in at night looking like you ran into trouble. Can I know what happened?"

Kaveh : I don't want to trouble y-

Ayaka: it's okay I want to know"

Kaveh. : .....that night as i was walking back here.....I was robbed....."

Ayaka : oh my....."

Kaveh : besides being beaten ........they took everything I had....they stole parts of my outfit ruining it my suitcase Mehrak which is more than a simple suitcase everything my life's work was in him he was connected to my vision which they also took and he was a friend......and in him was something my father gave me for my birthday before he passed"

Ayaka couldn't believe what happened to Kaveh and yet Kaveh Still seemed happy despite losing everything.

Ayaka : why didn't you tell us? We could have helped you?"

Kaveh : i didn't want to be a burden it's my problem anyway"

Ayaka : still I'll do whatever I can to help you"

Kaveh : thank you I guess but don't trouble yourself"

The next day Kaveh was out with Ayato just to make an appearance and as they were walking around Ayato was a few feet away talking to some business partners but he glanced at Kaveh who was standing around and seemed a bit uncomfortable.

and as he looked around saw some mem Ogling Kaveh seeming too close to him and trying to talk to Kaveh.

He couldn't believe the sheer lack of disrespect they were having. Kaveh was only pretending to be his wife but what they were doing was wrong. Wrong to do to any women.

But he saw fear in Kaveh's eye and realized these might be the same men who robbed him. Which made this situation worse than what it already was.

He then walked over and said smiling which was scary enough.

Ayato : dear would you be so
Kind and buy us something to drink"

Kaveh : i....of course"

After this he walked away and once he did the smiled dropped and Ayato said starring at the men.

Ayato : I think I need to have a word with you all about respecting women and your eyesight."

Few minutes later as Kaveh was walking around with boba trying to find Ayato. Suddenly the men ran over to him and got on their hands and knees
Bowing to him begging for forgiveness seeming terrified and even crying and shaking like they were fave with death.
He also saw they had blackeyes.

guy 1 : we're so sorry miss kamisato!"

guy 2 : truly we are!"

guy 3 : please forgive us!"

Guy 4 : grant us you're mercy!"

Then Ayato walked over smiling taking one Bobo and drinking some.

Ayato : how nice"

Kaveh : i.....did you say something to them?"

Ayato : not at all they just realized the errors of their ways. Now let's head back home."

Kaveh : .....yes....."

Later as everyone was asleep Ayato was in the room walking around the men with his sword watching them sit on floor writing apology letters adress to Kaveh. "

He was also going over Kaveh's things making sure each item was accounted for.

Ayato : now each word must be genuine. For each word not.
A finger will be lost. Once you run out toes and so on will be next. Do I make myself clear?"

They all nodded terrified of what he said.

Ayato : lowly people like you don't deserve my kindness. Be grateful"

The next day in the morning Kaveh walked into Ayato's office since Ayato asked him to and was shock to see all the things stolen from him were onthe desk.

Ayato : everything is accounted for. And your outfit was sent to be repaired and should be arriving back here shortly.

Kaveh quickly went over checking everything he couldn't believe Everythingwas here and was beyond happy.

Kaveh : h....how did you get this back?"

Ayato : I have my ways you also have apology letters from them."

Kaveh : what exactly did you do?"

Ayato : do not worry about that"

Kaveh : I.....thank you so much.....thank you.......wait how did y-

Ayato : overheard your conversation with my sister. These items eat a lot to you. Given what you are doing for me it's only fair"

Kaveh : i.....I can't thank you enough...."

Ayato : no need."

Ayato noticed how sinec meeting Kaveh this was the first time he was seeing him genuinely smile. Which was bad sight.

Ayato : just be sure to say if you are having trouble it's no burden. You are no burden"

Ayato then started thinking about what he saw last night when he got home.

As he got home that night he was walking to his and Kaveh's room until he heard crying. He then peeked in and saw Kaveh sitting against the wall with his knees to his chest crying and talking to himself about something.

Kaveh : I......why am I even here.....I shouldn't be I shouldn't be alive.....I just ruin everything....I ruined their lives.....they all hate me.....everyone is better off with me dead.....without me
........I have no one....."

This made Ayato wonder......
