"Congratulations Mr. Singh, har saal ki tarah iss saal bhi yeh contract aapko hi mila hain" a senior businessman congratulates Anubhav and forwards his hand to him. 

Anubhav too shakes his hand with him and says politely, "Thank you, sir"

The senior man smiles and says, "I really appreciate your work and your way of working, young man. Keep it up."

"Thank you very much for your beautiful words, sir" Anubhav says to him in a soft tone.

The senior businessman smiles and leaves from there. One by one all the businessmen congratulate him apart from one person.

Neil comes and stands near Anubhav. The person who didn't congratulate Anubhav is going outside.

Anubhav looks at him and says in a loud but calm voice, "Mujhe congratulate nahi karoge, Ajeet?"

Ajeet turns and gives him a death glare. Anubhav smiles and comes in front of him.

"Yeh kya baat hui, Ajeet? Are bhai, itna bada contract hasil kiya hain maine, jiski mujhse jyada zaroorat tumhe thi toh mujhe badhaai dena toh banta hain. Lekin tum ho ki kuch bole bina hi jaa rahe ho" Anubhav says in fake complaining tone.

Ajeet is highly angry. He says, "Ek contract hasil kar liya toh itna khush hone ki zaroorat nahi hain. Iss baar tumhara naseeb achchha tha ki yeh tumne apne naam kar liya. Par yaad rakhna, agli jeet meri hogi."

Anubhav chuckles and says, "Ajeet, mere kaan pak gaye hain yeh hi dialogues baar baar sunkar. Kitne saalon se tum yeh hi keh rahe ho ki meri kismat ke bharose mujhe yeh saare contacts mil jaate hain. Par kismat har baar toh mera saath nahi de sakti naa, mere pyare dushman. Mujhe kismat ka dhani kehne ke bajay tum apni haar maan lo."

"Ajeet Bakshi, kabhi haarta nahi hain, Anubhav" Ajeet say in anger.

Anubhav smiles in a sarcastic way and says, "Ohh really?, Phir tumne ab tak apne bhaiyon ke kaatil ka pata kyun nahi lagaya. 4.5 saal ho gaye tumhare bhaiyon ka katl hue par ab tak tum uss katil ko nahi pakad sake!"

"Meri dukhti rag par haat rak kar pachtaoge, Anubhav. Main ek naa ek din unke ke katil ka pata laga hi loonga. Aur usko mukammal saza bhi dunga. Uske baare mein tum chinta mat karo. Tum apne kaam se kaam rakho" Ajeet said in a cold tone.

"Main toh apne kaam se hi kaam rakhta hoon. Tab hi toh har baar tumhe business mein hara deta hoon. Ek baat sach sach bataaun, mujhe apni kaamiyaabi se jyada tumhari barbadi dekhne mein maza aata hain. Sach mein, aaj mujhe yeh contract milne ki utni khushi nahi ho rahi hain jitni tumhe yeh contract nahi milne ki ho rahi hain" Anubhav says with smirk.

Ajeet's anger comes to its peak. He clenches his fits. He raises his hand to slap Anubhav but Anubhav holds his hand in the middle. 

Anubhav says in an angry tone, "Apne haat ko apne kaabu mein rakhna sikho, Mr. Ajeet Bakshi. Kanhi aisa na ho ki yeh haat tumhare sharir se alag ho jaaye. Mujh se dushmani toh tumne 5 saal pehle hi mod li thi. Magar iss dushmani ki keemat tumhe marte dum tak chukani padegi. Apne gusse ko sambhal ke rakho kyun ki aage jaakar aur tumhe iski bahut zaroorat padne wali hain."

Ajeet jerks his hand and says, "Mera gussa ek jwalamukhi hain, Anubhav. Ek din tum iss jwalamukhi mein jal jaaoge."

"Kaun kisko jalata hain, yeh toh aanewala waqt batayega. Aur mujhe iss waqt ka besabri se intezaar rahega" Anubhav says in low but dangerous voice.

Ajeet looks into his eyes with rage. He doesn't say anything further and leaves from there.

Neil and Anubhav too go from there.

In Anubhav's office,
Anubhav and Neil are checking some files and discussing their new business deal. After a long time, their discussion comes to the end.

Then, suddenly a question raises in Neil's mind. He asks Anubhav, "Ek baat puchhu, dost?"

"Aapko kabse meri ijaazat ki zaroorat padne lagi, Neil. Aaj tak toh maine aapko mana nahi kiya. Aur agar maine mana bhi kar bhi diya toh aap thodi na chup baithenge. Puchhiye jo puchhna hain" Anubhav says while looking at his mobile's screen.

Neil smiles a little. He looks everywhere and confirms that no one is listening to them. He questions, "Anu, mujhe yeh samajh nahi aa raha hain ki jab aap har be-imaan insaan ko saza de rahe hain toh Ajeet ko aapne ab tak kyun kuch nahi kiya? Usse abhi tak aapne saza kyun nahi di? Jab ki ab toh aapke liye bahut aasan hain usko apne kiye ki saza dena!"

Anubhav shifts his gaze from the mobile to him. He stands up and comes near a window. He looks at the sky.

He replies, "Neil, chahta toh main usse kabka iss duniya se vida kar sakta tha par maine aisa nahi kiya, aur na hi karna chahta hoon."

Neil stands up and asks, "Lekin kyun?"

"Kyun ki abhi tak Ajeet ko nahi pata ki uske dono bhaiyon ko maine hi maara hain. Ho sakta hain ki usse ekad baar mujh par shak hua ho. Par aapne pehle se hi aise saboot pesh kar diye hain ki main gunehgaar nahi kehla sakta aur aapne mere khilaaf koi saboot nahi chhoda."

Anubhav turns to him and adds, "Iss liye Ajeet ab bhi apne bhaiyon ke kaatil ko dhundh raha hain. Uske bhaiyon ke wajah se meri aur mere pariwaar ki zindagi badal gayi hain. Aur main bhi uski zindagi aise hi badalte hue, barbad hote hue dekhna chahta hoon. Aur jab tak Ajeet uss kaatil ko dhundh nahi leta tab tak woh tadapta rehega. Aur main uski yeh hi tadap dekhna chahta hoon. Main bhi usse ussi tarah se tadapta hua dekhna chahta hoon jis tarah aaj tak main tadap raha hoon. Aur jis din usse pata chal jaayega ki uske bhaiyon ko maine kab, kanha aur kaise maara hain, woh din uske zindagi ka aakhri din hoga. Lekin tab tak main usse nahi maarunga. Magar uski maut bhi mere hi haat se hogi jaise uske bhaiyon ki hui thi."

Neil understands his emotions. Both Neil and Anubhav remembered something.

Flashback:-

It was night. Two men were tied to a big tree trunk behind a huge college building 🏢. A man was standing in front of there. His eyes were red as blood.

One of the tied man says, "Anubhav, agar humare bhai ko pata chala na ki tumne hum dono ko saath aisa kiya hain toh woh tumhe zinda nahi chhodega. Iss liye behtar hain ki tum hum dono ko chhod do."

Getting no response from Anubhav, another man says, "Sujeet, yeh aise nahi maan-ne wala hain. Hume hi kuch karna padega."

"Preet, lagta hain iski maut aayi hain. Iss wajah se yeh hume pakad kar laaya hain" Sujeet says.

"CHUP!" Anubhav roars and adds, "Kiski maut aayi hain yeh toh saaf saaf dikh raha hain. Kehte hain ki diya bujhne se pehle phadphadata zaroor hain. Tum dono ko dekhkar samajh bhi aa gaya. Marne se pehle itni garmi jo dikha rahe ho."

Preet says, "Tumhare andar itni takat hain ki tum hume maar sako. Guitar uthane wale haath hatiyaar nahi uthate. Samjhe!" 

"Aur tumne jo hume pakad kar galti ki hain naa woh ab tumhare zindagi ki aakhri galti saabit hogi. Kyun ki ab tumhe humara bhai chhodega nahi. Maar daalega tumhe!" Sujeet adds.

Anubhav smirks. He comes close to them and said, "Tumhare bhai ne ab tak bahut khel khel liye. Ab khel khelne ki baari meri hain. Aaj tumhe tumhara bhai toh kya bhagwaan bhi nahi bacha sakta. Yeh raat tumhare zindagi ki aakhri raat sabit hogi."

"Hume chhod do warna tumhare liye thik nahi hoga" both brothers says in union. 

Anubhav says in a painful tone, "Thik toh ab tumhare liye nahi hoga. Kyun ki tum logon ne ab tak mere saath bahut kuch bura kiya hain. Aur ab bura tum dono ke saath hoga. Tum dono ki wajah se meri behan aaj asptaal mein hain. Aur tumhara woh bhai, usse main abhi nahi maarunga. Main chahta hoon ki pehle woh tum dono ki maut ke gam mein jhulse. Phir kanhi jaakar main uska bhi chapter close kar dunga."

He slaps both of them very hard. Anubhav takes two big knives from his jacket. Both brothers get afraid. They look at each other.

Before they both say anything, Anubhav says, "Issi jagah tumhari zindagi khatam hogi jis jagah tumne meri, meri behan aur mere pariwaar ki zindagi mein dukh bhar diye the."

With saying this, he poke the knives in their stomach. They scream. He twists the knives. They scream more in pain. Anubhav does it until they both sleep for all time. 

At this time, Neil comes there. He is shocked. He can't believe this. His heart refuses to say that his friend, Anubhav became a murderer. He comes near him.

Neil asks, "Anu, yeh aapne kya kiya?"

"Woh hi jo mujhe bahut pehle hi karna chahiye tha. Inka yeh hi haal hona chahiye tha" Anubhav answers while looking at the dead bodies. 

"Aapko aisa nahi karna chahiye tha. Hum case lad rahe the naa!" "Ladne se koi fayda nahi hain, Neil. 6 mahino se toh hum lad hi rahe hain naa! Kuch nahi mila hume. Iske bhai ne pehle hi saare gawaho ko kharid liya hain. Har ek saboot jhuta hain jo inn do darindo ko be-gunah saabit karta hain. Iss liye, maine hi faisla kar liya. Ab koi police station ya court room mein faislein nahi sunayega. Ab bina waqt gawaye, on spot faisla hoga, Neil. Kyun ki ab faisle main liya karunga" they argue.

Neil runs his fingers into his hair and looks here and there. He says hurriedly, "Anu, aap jald se jald yanha se jaayiye. In dono ke body ko main thikane laga dunga."

Anubhav looks at him, "In dono ko maine maar dala hain. Phir aap kyun laasho thikane lagayenge?"

"Anu, yeh time in sab baaton ka nahi hain. Abhi philhaal aapko hospital jaana chahiye. Maa ne aapko kitne baar phone karne ki koshish ki, aapko pata bhi hain. Doctor ne Santu ke condition ke baare mein batane ke liye aapko aur Maa ko bulaya hain. Aapki jyada zaroorat wanha hain. Yanha sab main sambhal lunga" Neil insists him.

"Lekin..." Anubhav's words cuts by Neil, "Lekin wekin kuch nahi yaar. Main keh raha hoon naa ki main hoon yanha sab sambhalne ke liye. Aap abhi doctor ke paas jaayiye. Please, ek dost ki baat nahi maanenge aap?"

Anubhav agrees and leaves from there. Neil looks at the scenario and thinks in his mind, "Mujhe kisi bhi tarah in dono ko kisi aisi jagah thikane lagane padega janha kisi ko bhi mere Anu par shak na ho. Aur agar main in do laasho ke saath kisi ko dikh gaya aur pakda gaya toh saara ilzaam main apne sar le lunga. Mera toh iss duniya mein koi nahi hain par Anu ko unka pariwaar sambhalna hain. Aur filhaal is condition mein unke pariwaar ko sabse jyada unki zaroorat hain."

Neil makes some planning and works according to his plan. After some days, police find the dead bodies of Sujeet and Preet. Initially, Ajeet doubts on Anubhav but he  the police don't find any clue against him because of Neil's full proof planning.

Flashback ends.

Neil's eyes are showing some pain while Anubhav is standing with no expression. Neil thinks to divert this topic.

"Anu, yaar, bahut bhook lag rahi hain. Pet mein chuhe hi nahi balki kutte billi bhi daud rahe hain. Yanha paas mein ek restorant hain. Wanha ka pasta bahut mast hain. Chalo naa wanhi lunch kar lete hain" Neil requests him in cute voice.

Anubhav is not interested in this but he nods to his cute friend's cute request.

Anubhav and Neil finish their lunch. Neil is paying the bill. Suddenly, two ladies pass from there. Something falls from a lady's hand but she doesn't know about it. Anubhav sees this and takes the thing which is fell from her hand. It is an ID card.

"Excuse me" he calls her but she doesn't hear it. He again looks at the ID and card says loudly, "Miss Haseena Malik"

Haseena turns. Both come in front of each other. He says. "Woh aapka ID card wanha gir gaya tha."

He gives the card to her. While taking it their hands touch each other but both ignore it.

"Ohh! Thank you. And sorry, meri wajah se aapko apna khana chhodke uthna pada. Woh main itne saare files ko sambhal rahi thi toh mujhe pata hi nahi chala ki kab mera card niche gir gaya" Haseena thanks him.

"Koi baat nahi. Waise bhi mera lunch khatam ho gaya tha" he answers and about to go.

She stops him, "Suniye." He looks at her. She says in a little hesitating tone, "Woh aapke hothon par thoda sa khana lag gaya hain." 

He wipes it and quickly goes.

At that time, Shivani comes near her. She asks her, "Ho gayi mummy se baat, Shivu?" 

"Haan di, ho gayi. Aur mummy ne aapko bahut bahut badhai di hain aaj iss case ko jitne ke liye. Sach much di, aakhir aapne Varma ko dhul chata hi di" Shivani says it smiling.

Haseena too smiles, "Okay, jab mummy ko phir se call kare toh meri taraf se shukriya bol dena."

Both smiles.

Anubhav and Neil are in the car. Neil asks in excitement, "Anu, yaar, mujhe abhi bhi yakeen nahi ho raha hain ki aap khud jaakar ek ladki se baat karke aaye ho. Aisa kya tha unme?"

"Shut up! Har baat ko itna badha chadha kar nahi sochna chahiye. Unka ID card meri chair ke paas gir gaya tha toh woh hi lautane gaya tha. Raai ka pahad banane mein toh expert hain aap" Anubhav sternly says it.

Neil frowns and says in mind, "Main bhi bhains ke aage bin baja raha hoon. Jab pata hain ki yeh mahashay kabhi kisi ladki ko bhav nahi dete hain toh kha ma kha self insult karne ke liye inko uss ladki ke baare mein puchh liya. Pata nahi kya hoga mere dost ka? Pata nahi kya hoga inka future?"
