"Cheete, aap hume kanha lekar jaa rahe ho? Kuch batayiye toh sahi. Hum Ammi ko akele chhodkar nahi jaa sakte" Haseena says annoyingly as Cheetah drags her from her bedroom.

Cheetah sighs, "Offo di, aap kitne sawal puchhti hain. Chup chap chaliye humare saath. Hum shaam se pehle aa jaayenge. Aur Ammi ki chinta mat kijiye. Shivani hain naa yanha par."

Haseena sighs and says, "Achchha ruko, hum Ammi se milke aate hain."

He nods. She goes to Ammi's room and tells her that she is going for some work with Cheetah. Perhaps it will be too late to return. She gives some instructions to her Ammi. Shivani who is there and listening to her instructions, assures Haseena that she will perfectly take care of Ammi. So there is no need to worry. Haseena smiles and goes after giving a hug to them.

Cheetah's bike stops in front of Anubhav's home. Haseena gets off the bike and looks at him. She understands earlier by the root that they are going to the place of Anubhav. 

She asks him, "Aap hume kyun laaye hain? Aur aapne hume ghar se nikalte waqt hi kyun nahi bataya ki hum yanha aa rahe hain?"

He smiles and gets off the bike. He replies, "Agar bata dete toh aapko surprise kaise dete? Chaliye, andar koi aapka besabri se intezaar kar raha hain."

She looks at him with confusion. They move. Cheeta presses the doorbell. A servant opens the door and they enter the house. 

Cheeta shouts, "Friend... Friend..."

Haseena glares at him surprisingly and asks, "Kise bula rahe hain aap? Anubhav aapse bade hain. Aap aise bulayenge unhe?"

He looks at her and answers, "Aap kya bol rahi hain, di? Unke saamne toh 'sir' bolne par bhi halat kharab ho jaati hain humari. Aise thodi na bulayenge unhe!? Aap do minute rukiye humari friend aati hi hongi!"

"Humari friend?" She raises her eyebrows, "Matlab Kar..."

"Friend..." She hears Santu's scream before she can complete her sentence. 

Santu happily comes down and stands in front of them. Cheetah says, "Friend, humne kaha tha na ki hum aapki cutie pie ko le aayenge. Lijiye, humne aapna promise poora kiya."

"Cutie Pie" She jumps in the excitement and hugs her. Haseena too feels so happy to meet her. They break the hug. Haseena kisses Santu's forehead.

She asks, "Kaise ho aap, bachche?"

"Main toh bahut mast hoon. Aap kaise ho, Cutie Pie" 

"Ab tak toh achchhi thi. Ab aapse milkar aur bhi achchhi ho gaye hain."

Santu chuckles. She turns to Cheetah and says, "Thank you, Friend. Tumne meri cutie pie ko yanha laaya. Thank you so much."

"Most welcome, Friend." He smiled and bowed down keeping his hand on his chest. 

Haseena asks with a smile, "Aap dono ke beech friendship kab hui? Pehle toh aap dono ek dusre se ladte the."

"Hum nahi ladte the, di" Cheetah replies quickly with innocence.

Santu speaks, "Humne kal hi friendship kar li, cutie pie. Friend ne kaha tha ki woh aaj aapko mere paas lekar aayega. Agar yeh aaj aapko nahi le aata toh main isko bahut maarti."

"Baap re... Lagta hain zindagi bhar inse maar hi khana hain hume" Cheetha whispers under his breath. 

At the same time, Pushpa ji comes there. "Arey Haseena beta, tum?"

Haseena looks at her and smiles. She goes to her and hugs her, "Kaisi hain aap, Kaki?"

"Hum badhiya. Par tum yanha kaise? Bataya nahi tumne?"

"Hume bhi kanha pata tha ki hum yanha aane wale the" Haseena replies, making Pushpa ji confused. She continues, "Santu ne apne friend Cheetah se promise liya tha ki aaj woh hume unse milne le aayenge. Aur Cheetah bhi hume bina kuch bataya yanha zabardasti le aaye hain."

Pushpa ji smiles, "Chalo achchha hi hua. Tum aayi toh sahi. Warna hume toh laga tha ki tum hume bhool hi gayi."

"Aisa kaise ho sakta hain, Kaki!? Ek waqt par hum poori duniya bhool sakte hain. Par aapko aur aapki family ko nahi."

Pushpa ji smiles, "Noor janha behan ji kaisi hain? Unhe koi takleef toh nahi ho rahi hain naa..."

"Ammi bilkul thik hain. Aur unki tabiyat mein bhi abhi bahut sudhar hain. Bas kuch din aur. Phir toh woh bilkul pehle jaisi ho jaayegi."

"Yeh toh bahut achchhi baat hain."

"Waise Kaki, Karishma kanha hain? Kanhi dikhayi nahi de rahi?" Haseena asks while looking here and there, searching for Karishma.

Pushpa ji replies, "Beta, aaj Ravivar hain naa toh woh apne kuch dosto ke saath ghumne gayi hain. Shaam tak aa jaayegi."

"Cutie pie, aap mere liye aaye hain naa... Aap mujhe chhodkar sabse baat kar rahe hain" Santu makes a cute and sad face. 

Haseena can't resist smiling. She goes near her and pinches her nose, "Of course, hum aapse milne aaye hain, Honey. Aur aapse ab bahut saare baatein karenge."

Pushpa ji says, "Tum log Santu ke kamre mein jaakar baitho. Hum tum sabke liye kuch khane ke liye bhejte hain. Aur Santu ki dawayiyan bhi."

Hearing the medicine's name, Cheetah's face falls. But he decides to stay calm at this time. 

Santu says, "Chalo, cutie pie. Aaj hum bahut saari baatein karenge. Friend, tum bhi chalo."

"Hum...?" Cheetah comes out of his thoughts. "Hum nahi... Aap dono jaayiye. Hume kuch kaam hain. Hum kaam karke di ko le jaane aa jaayenge baad mein."

"Agar tum nahi aaoge toh main tumhe bahut maarungi" Santu warns him showing her index finger. 

Haseena laughs at him as he makes a cute face. He doesn't have any option apart from following his friend's orders. 

They take steps to go to her room. Santu starts to begin her talks, "Cutie pie, aapko pata hain, mere Doo-doo ne bhi aapko bahut miss kiya!" She says while showing her teddy bear to them.

"Achchha!?" Haseena smiles.

"Haan..."

In the evening,

"Cheete, hume dopahar ko hi yanha se chale jaana chahiye tha. Barish toh ruk hi nahi rahi hain" Haseena says with restlessness while looking outside the window. 

Karishma who has returned in the afternoon, requested her to stay at least for the evening. And now, the heavy rain starts along with storm.

Haseena looks at Santu who is sleeping after taking her medicines. 

She says to Cheetah, "Chalo hum niche chalte hain. Humari baaton se inki nind bigad jaayegi phir."

He nods and they come down in the hall. They see Karishma holding A tray of three cups and some snacks. 

Haseena rolls her eyes and says while sitting on the sofa, "Yeh hume bilkul pasand nahi, Karishma. Aap aur Kaki naa aise behave karte hain jaise koi mehmaan aaya ho. Kitni formalities karenge aap?"

Karishma smiles and puts the tray on the table. She sits beside her. Cheetah takes a seat on the couch. 

"Karna toh padega. Aap hain hi inti special" Karishma passes the cup to her. 

"Kuch bhi" Haseena rolls her eyes. 

Karishma giggles and gives another cup to Cheetah. 

While they are chit-chatting, they hear the sound of the doorbell. After a servant opens the door, they see Anubhav return from the office with KAMYA. Both Karishma and Haseena look at them with not so good mood. Anubhav is scrolling through his mobile so doesn't notice them. But Kamya looks at Haseena and immediately her jaw clunches with anger. She is holding Anubhav's hand. And after seeing Haseena, she makes the grip tighter. 

Haseena, who is noticing Anubhav's and Kamya's hands, a part of her doesn't like this. Or it will be better to say that she hates this. 

Anubhav looks up while putting his mobile in his pocket and notices Haseena and Cheetah. 

"Aap dono yanha?" He asks them.

"Woh hum... Santu se milne aaye the" Haseena answers with a straight face. 

"Bhaiyya, baithiye naa..." Karishma says and Anubhav sits there and Kamya also sits beside him. She purposely sits close to him while staring at Haseena. 

Karishma and Haseena look at her with a pinch of anger. 

Karishma asks Anubhav, "Bhaiyya, aap chai lenge?"

"Nahi, mann nahi hain" He replies, and looking at Kamya he asks, "Aap lengi chai?"

"Iski badi chinta hain inko" Haseena says in her mind, looking at them with an angry but cute face.

Kamya smiles and replies extra sweetly, "No thanks, AV. Tumhe toh pata hi hain naa ki main chai nahi peeti."

Karishma whispers, "Humara bas chale toh zaher pilade tumko"

"Kuch kaha aapne, Karishma" Anubhav asks. 

Karishma fumbles, "Aa... Hum... Hum... Hum woh... Woh hum... Hum yeh puchh rahe the ki Neil nahi aaye aapke saath?"

"Neil kisi karya hetu Kanpur gaye hain. Kal dopahar tak aa jaayenge." 

"Ji" Karishma nods. 

Haseena is restlessly looking here and there. Anubhav notices and asks her, "Kya hua? Aap kuch pareshaan lag rahi hain?"

Haseena softly replies, "Woh... Ghar jaane ke liye deri ho rahi hain. Aur barish hain ki rukne ka naam hi nahi le rah hain."

"Aap ghar nahi jaa sakti" Anubhav's sudden line makes everyone look at him surprisingly. He sighs at their stares and speaks, "Humare kehne ka arth hain ki bahar bahut bhari varsha ho rahi hain. Kadachit toofan bhi aayega. Hume nahi lagta ki aaj aap ghar jaa paayengi. Ammi akeli hain kya wanha?"

"Akeli toh nahi hain. Shivani hain unke saath. Par hume fikr toh hogi naa..." Haseena says. 

Anubhav replies calmly, "Hum samajh sakte hain. Hum apni gaadi se bhej dete aapko. Parantu toofan bhi bahut tez hain. Hum bhi bahut kathinta se aaye hain. Aap teeno ko aaj yanhi rehna padega." 

Haseena and Cheeta look at each other. They have no option other than staying there for one night.

At night, 

"Ji Ammi, hum kal subah jaldi aa jaayenge. Aap apna khana aur dawayiyan thik se lijiye. Okay?" Haseena asks her mother in a strict tone, sitting on the bed in the guest room.

"Haan humari Amma" Ammi replies playfully and continues, "Tu humari chinta mat kar. Shivu hain naa yanha par. Tere jitna hi khayal rakhti hain woh humara. Tu fikr mat kar aur so jaa. Aur hume bhi sone de abhi."

Haseena smiles and says, "Good night, Ammi."

"Good night" Ammi replies and they cut the call. 

She looks at the time on the mobile and puts it on the side table. 

She talks to herself, "Abhi itni raat bhi nahi ho rahi hain. Ek baar mil le kya Anu...bhav se? Par hum milkar bolenge kya? Baat toh karne ka mann hain. Par kya baat kare kuch pata nahi. Dinner par bhi kuch nahi bol paaye unse. Kaise bol paate? Unki woh chipkali friend apni bak bak band karti toh koi aur baat kar paata naa... Mil hi lete hain abhi unse. Kya baat karna hain wanhi par jaakar soch lenge."

She gets up and goes to Anubhav's room. His room is open and she is about to knock it when she sees Kamya there. She stops at the door and says in her mind, "Yeh hamesha humare beech mein kaise aa jaati hain?"

She is about to go but stops when Anubhav says something to Kamya. "Ek kshan, Kavya. Humare paas aapke liye kuch hain."

"Kya?" Kamya excitedly asks. 

Anubhav goes to his cupboard and takes a box in his hand. He stares at the box for some seconds and comes to Kamya.

Giving the box to her, he speaks, "Aaj humare haath se aapka doorbhash toot gaya tha naa... Iss liye humne aapke liye yeh naya doorbash liya hain."

Kamya smiles widely and takes the box of the mobile phone. She looks at Anubhav and replies, "Wow! This is so sweet of you, AV."

"Aapko pasand aaya?" He asks.

Kamya holds his hand and replies, "Aisa kabhi hua ki tumne mere liye kuch laaya ho aur mujhe pasand nahi aaya ho?"

"Humne isse pehle aapke liye kya laya hain?" He asks in the confusion.

She smiles and says while encircling her hand around his right arm, "Bahut bhole ho tum. College se leke aaj tak mere chehre par hasi laayi hain, mere liye na jaane kitni khushiyan laayi hain. Aur ab toh business mein tarakki bhi laa rahe ho mere liye. Aur kya kya bataun tumne main?"

Anubhav doesn't reply to her but just stares at her.

Haseena decide to go when notices her.

He softly asks her, "Aap?"

Haseena gets a bit panicked after his sudden encounter. "Woh... Hum..." She doesn't know what to answer. Kamya looks at her and smiles as something clicks in her mind. 

She comes near Haseena and says in a sweet tone, "Hey Haseena, yeh dekho naa... AV ne kitna pyaara gift diya hain mujhe. He is such a sweetheart! Kitna khayal rakhta hain mera!"

Haseena looks at her with a stern tone and answers, "Hmm... Nice Phone!"

"Thank you" Kamya says with a playful smile on her face.

Anubhav comes near them and says to Haseena, "Hume pata hain ki aapko apni Ammi ki chinta ho rahi hain. Aur kadachit issi liye aapko nidra nahi aa rahi aur aap yanha se wanha tehal rahi hain. Parantu aap chinta mat kijiye. Shivani hain naa wanha par. Aap aaram se so jaayiye."

"Ji" Haseena manages to say this only. She thinks in her mind, "Itne din tak hum inke ghar mein the. Humare liye ek chhoti si pen tak nahi laayi gayi inse. Aur iss chipkali ke liye itna mehanga phone laaye hain. Khadus!"

"Par hume itna bura kyun lag raha hain. Itna bura hume pehle kabhi nahi laga. Yeh dono best friends hain. Shayad best friends se kuch zyada hi. Aur hum... Hum toh Anu...bhav ki khali friend bhi nahi hain" She continues thinking with a sad face.

Kamya looks at Anubhav and says, "Achchha AV, raat bahut ho gayi hain. Hum sabko ab so jaana chahiye. Good night."

She hugs him. Even Anubhav is shocked by this. Haseena can't bear this anymore and leaves the place immediately. Kamya breaks the hug and looks at Haseena with a large smile. She too goes to her room after wishing him another time.

Anubhav closes the door and calls one of  his men, "Hello, Haseena ji ghar par achchhe se dhyaan rakhna. Koi bhi gadbad nahi honi chahiye. Kisi ko bhi wanha par pareshaani nahi honi chahiye. Haseena ji ghar par nahi hain toh iss baat ka unke shatru labh utha sakte hain. Agar koi bhi naya ya phir aparichit insaan unke ghar ke aas paas dikhayi de toh hume shigra doorbhash karna aur yadi koi galat insaan dikhayi diya toh usse pakalo. Samjhe?"

"Ji, Garud!" His man replies.

Anubhav cuts the call, puts the mobile on his bed, and lays on the bed. He says to himself, "Toofani raat hain. Lagta toh nahi ki koi shatru wanha par aayega. Parantu hume savdhan toh rehna padega."

He closes his eyes after switching the lights off.
