Hey beautiful and wonderful readers! I've made a new book called Heartache. :) I think you all will enjoy it. Adrien will kill you by his charming attitude. Haha!

I stand in front of the long mirror, I spin around for my mother and I smiled. She had hugged me tightly like there was no tomorrow.

Today was the day of the masquerade. Adrien had somehow gotten me into coming with him, and to be honest I was quite excited. I wanted to dance with him once again, and hold him tightly next to me. After my dancing lessons with him, I think I will do an okay job with him.

"One, two, three. One, two, three. One, two, thr- Ow! Mari, you stepped on my foot again." He chuckled.

I blushed, looking away from Adrien. I sighed and sat down on the stool behind me.

"Adrien, I'm blind. This is gonna be a bit tricky... I've never danced before, so this will take a while."

"No! It's completely fine. I get to spend more time with you anyways." He leaned over and kissed me on the cheek.

"Let's start again, Princess?"

"Aw, my sweetie is growing up. Oh how the times have changed. You look beautiful darling." She had complimented.

My smile had become saddened. Why me? Maybe if that day hadn't happened. Maybe if I had just stayed quiet. Maybe if I had been careful. Maybe... If I had just not fallen, I would see the beauty in the world. Maybe Adrien-

My mother had caught me out of my daydreaming.

"Honey... He's here."

I smiled. I couldn't wait to see him and show him the dress that was fitted tightly on me. My mom guided me down the stairs and I made the 'grand entrance.'

"Wow..." I heard him whisper. I covered my face over my hands and he laughed to himself. He pulled me closer to him and he gave me a kiss on the forehead. "You look stunning."

"T-Thank Adrien you. I-I mean! Uh... Thanks."

"You two are the cutest! All right now, stand together!" He wrapped his arm around my waist and we both smiled. The picture was taken and my mother once again gave me a tight hug before we set off into the car.

We sat next to each other and we stayed there quietly. The cars passed by as I hear their ignitions go on and on. Adrien squeezed my hand as I laid my head onto his shoulder. I was in love with him... So much.

We danced and danced to the soothing melody. It was embarrassing to be blind and dance in a public area, but I had shrugged it off.

There we stood on the balcony as the cool night breeze tickled my skin. I shiver and Adrien had gave me his coat. I smiled as I remember what it was like to see colors. I haven't told anyone about me not seeing the colors.

I want Adrien to be the first one.

"You're dress is so beautiful. The red and black really match together." He held my hand.

I had to tell him.

"Adrien. I have to tell you something..."

"Yeah, what is it?"

I felt like crying.

I knew I had to tell him.

The tears escaped my eyes as I mutter the words with a sad smile.

"I don't remember the colors."
