Pete's POV

"Zariyanna, I'm sorry that I cheated on you. You didn't deserve it." I said, still holding her. Messing with Sasha was the worst decision I ever made. I am not even sure if she is willing to give me a chance, but can you blame her. 

"No, I didn't deserve to be hurt by you." She said, pulling away from me. She's never this vulnerable and it's honestly breaking my heart to see her like this. I've lost her trust and I will do whatever it takes to make it better. 

"I love you baby and I got caught up in the moment. Please, take me back." I said, grabbing her and pulling her back into my arms.

Sasha was just something to do. She did not mean anything to me, and I don't know why she had to expose me.

"Peter, I can't right now. I just need time to process and think. I just can't take you back like all is forgiven." She sat on the couch and rubbed her temples. She ran her fingers through her curls. 

I sat next to her and kissed her forehead. I threw my arm around her. "Just let me know when you're ready." I stated.

"I'm not sure if I'll ever be ready." She looked up into me with her big brown eyes. Her soul was broken because of what I did. I hurt the love of my life and for someone who doesn't even matter.

She sighed. "The problem is my life revolves around you. For the  last year  I've put my wrestling gear business on hold. Simply, because you didn't like the way Adam Page interacted with me."

"I'm a jealous man Phoenix. Those guys hit on you and it pisses me off." I reflected over when she worked with the Bullet Club. I swear that Marty Scurll is plotting on my demise.

"Doesn't matter. I've never entertained any of them. I deserve to be happy. You should have told me before I saw it on internet." She was absolutely right that I should have told her. 

Trent cleared his throat and chimed in. "You two could benefit from some space. Pete you can stay at my place."

I shook my head. "No, mate I want to stay here with Phoenix. I don't want to be apart anymore." I confessed. It wasn't the sex that had me like this, it's her. I love everything about her.

"Peter, I'm not sure that's a good idea." Phoenix said, and that's when Tyler walked in. I wasn't in the mood for everyone here while this is going on. There was also something inside of me that did not trust Tyler. 

"Hey guys!" Tyler looked around the room. "Did y'all get back together?" He asked. 

"No, we were waiting for to save us." Phoenix walked over to Tyler, and hugged him. The hug lingered for a bit and I was annoyed. Was she really flirting with one of my best mates in front of me? Maybe, Tyler wanted her. He has been liking a lot of her pictures on Instagram.

"Thanks! I made you fresh kale chips since Trent eats everything in the house." He handed Phoenix the bag, and they both started laughing. I just sat there watching them being flirtatious in front of me. 

I glared at him. He's never been this nice to her. Was something going on and I didn't know about it? I gave Tyler a mean mug. This is not the time to get on her good side. "Don't bring my girl food." I spat. 

"Well, maybe if you did then you wouldn't be in this situation Pete." Tyler said, and sat down next to Trent. He stared at me, and I had no problem giving him a proper ass whooping in front of  Phoenix and Trent.

"And what girl do you have? Toni storm left you and Liv Morgan canceled you. What blonde girl on NXT is next?" I asked. 

"I'd be careful at how you are talking to me Pete. You don't have your girlfriend back.... yet. You better get it together before Andy Black takes your girl."

I looked at Phoenix and she was covering her face, trying not to laugh. I've been meaning to talk to her about her so called best friend.

"Did you fuck Andy Black?" I asked her and we all knew this conversation was coming.

She scrunched her face at me and looked me up and down. She pointed at me."You gotta be kidding me. You had an affair with Ms. No edges and you're asking me about a man that I've known longer than you."

I clenched my jaw. She was trying to get under my skin. I never liked that dude and she of all people knows that. "Did you fuck him?" I asked her again.

The room grew silent and everyone looked at Phoenix waiting for her answer. "No, I did not. Stop being a jealous bloke." She rolled her eyes at me. I wasn't feeling this attitude she was giving me.

"Yeah, Pete stop being a jealous bloke." Tyler mocked Phoenix and they both started laughing. It was becoming annoying because it seem like they've been hanging out. Like I am left out of the loop or something. 

"Yeah Pete.." Phoenix started laughing again, and gave Tyler a high five. She was eating those kale chips and I didn't know why they were acting like that.

"Enough you two... seems like I've missed something. Y'all best friends now?" I asked. 

Phoenix taunted me. She sat right in his lap. "Yeap, he's the bestie now! I had to entertain myself somehow since you were out being a hoe."

"I was out getting this paper for us. Don't start." I said, pulling her out of his lap. She has some nerve to act like this. 

She looked at me confused. "Oh, whatever you put my paper on hold. My side hustle was bringing in a lot of money before you were getting those WWE checks. Let's be clear I was making just as much money as you. Until you got jealous over Adam Page." Phoenix rolled her eyes. 

"I still don't know why you keep bringing him up. You must want him too." I said.

She gasped at my comment. I am not going to keep playing with her ass. "I can't believe you said that. I am out..Tyler can drop me off?" She grabbed her purse. 

"Yeap, just let me know where you want to go." Tyler said, following behind her. 

"If you walk out of that door Phoenix. We're done." I said.

She turned back at me and looked at me. "You do realize we never got back together. I am not about to listen to you be rude to me. Learn some fucking manners hoe. You cheated not me, but now that I am single who knows what I will do." She grabbed Tyler's hand. "Let's go bestie."

I sat there in awe and looked at my best friend leave with my girlfriend. "What the fuck Trent? What is going on?"

"You provoked Phoenix and you know how she gets." Trent shook his head. "You tried to turn it around on her, but you do realize you cheated on her. You should be careful. You might have lost her forever."

 I keep letting my possessiveness get the best of me. "Fuck... you're right."
