Harry realised that he has been sitting at the pond for hours, simply thinking. He was about to get up and walk home when he heard a familiar voice. "Oi, what are you doing here..?" Came the voice of Zayn, Louis' friend.

"What are you doing here, man?" Zayn asked sitting next to Harry. "I just needed to get out of that shit hole and breathe" Harry spoke absentmindedly staring at the water. "I hear ya, man. You sit Liam right? How's Lou doing?" Zayn asked Harry, oblivious of what was happening.

"Yeah, he's nice, he's doing good" Harry spoke looking down at his twiddling fingers. "He sure is nice." Zayn sighed fondly. "Well I have to get going" Harry jerked, getting off the ground in a hurry.

As he walked back to school he sighed. He just couldn't get Louis off his mind. And apparently out of his sight either because walking directly towards him, was none other than, Louis. "Harry..?" He questioned shielding his eyes from the sun. "Hey Louis" Harry's voice was raspy, much to louis' delight. At this point they were standing opposite each other on the footpath.

"Is everything ok? Everyone was worried when you left school today.
I-I was worried.." Louis averted his eyes from Harry's gaze. Harry took his chance to smile while Louis wasn't looking. "Well I'm fine, but thanks for asking. I'm on my way back to get my car. Why are you waking?" Harry asked with concern. "Oh, I'm walking home." Louis replied with an awkward smile, feeling embarrassed by his lack of transportation. "Well I can take you home if you'd like?" Harry asked nervously, he hoped Louis couldn't tell. "Well I'm not that far away, I think I'll be fine" Louis insisted, not wanting to bother Harry. "Please, I'd like to. I can't let you walk home by yourself." Harry smiled gently.
"Well, ok. Thank you." Louis offered and they started walking back to school together.

"Are you sure you're ok Harry? You can trust me you know, I wouldn't gossip about you. Not that I have anyone to gossip to." Louis chuckled.
"Honest, everything is fine. I was just feeling overwhelmed in the moment and needed to get out of there. I lost track of time." Harry replied.

They got to Harry's car, a black jeep. And Louis cautiously hoped into the passenger seat, breathing in the ascent of Harry that surrounded him. He felt so safe and happy in that moment. Harry turned on the car and the radio automatically stayed playing. Harry began to lightly sing along with the song and Louis smiled over at Harry and let out an unintentional giggle, Harry's chest fluttered until he realised what Louis was giggling at. "Oh sorry, it's a habit" Harry's blushed. "No, no! You sound lovely!" Louis smiled sweetly.

Harry was looking at the track he walked down earlier on when he was interrupted, "just here on your right Harry" Louis piped in. "Oh, you live here..?" Harry asked in surprise. "Uh, y-yes.. why..?" Louis asked a little worried. "Oh, no reason. That's cool, I only live up this street." Harry chirped. "Oh sweet!" Louis didn't do to well at hiding his excitement. "Maybe you could come around some time" Louis blushed. "Id like that" Harry smiled, showing Louis his whites. Giving Louis yet another feature of the alpha to swoon over.

Louis hoped out and Harry drove down half a dozen houses or so and pulled into a house on the opposite side of the street. He got out and waved to Louis in the distance. Louis waved back and smiled. All this time he never knew Harry lived so close to him.
Louis was keen to get back to school tomorrow.
