Louis was at his locked, he wanted to find Harry and talk, but apart of him was scared. Niall had offered him a ride home with Liam and himself, and louis gladly accepted. Niall told Louis that Liam had talked with Harry and that Harry was fine. Though when Louis had asked for details, Niall refused, saying Liam had sworn him to secrecy.

Harry had gone back to find Zayn. When he saw him talking to some girl, Harry rolled his eyes. Feeling stupid. Zayn was clearly straight, and not interested in Louis that way, Harry just had an insane spurt of jealousy take over him. He tapped Zayn shoulder asking him if they could talk. Reluctantly Zayn agreed and they walked outside. "First of all, i'm sorry." Harry offered. Zayn looked him over but then gave in. "It's fine Harry. I understand. I'm an alpha too. I know sometimes the alpha takes over and you cant control it." Zayn gave Harry an encouraging smile and Harry felt relieved. "But look. I can see you like Louis. But I care about him a lot. He's my best friend and I'd do anything for him. You have to know i'm in no way a threat to you, and I'm going to be in Louis's life, no matter what happens between you two." Zayn's voice was calm but stern. Harry simply nodded, knowing this was completely fair.
"Thought Harry. As i said, i care about louis, so i want to know your intentions." Zayn asked. Harry knew this would come up. "Well, to simplify it. I like him." Harry felt a smile creep across his face. Zayn smiled. Zayn had no fear of Harry using Louis.

When the final bell had rung, Louis was glad that his last class was with Liam. He wouldn't have known what to o if he was on his own. Niall was waiting at Liam's car for the two and smiled when he saw his mate approach him. Louis sighed. He thought he was closer to having what his friends had. He wondered why Harry didn't smile at him at the lunch table. Had he done something wrong? They reached Louis's house before he knew it. He got a reassuring wave from Liam and a sympathetic smile from Niall. Louis obviously wasn't doing well at hiding his emotions. Louis was in the kitchen with his mum when there was a knock at the door. "I'll get it" Louis got off the chair and made his way for the door. He opened it and was surprised when his eyes met with a pair of all to familiar green ones. "Harry?!" Louis couldn't hold back the smile that spread across his face when Harry smiled down on him. "Hi Lou." 

Louis happily invited the boy inside, making their way toward the kitchen, Harry felt his palm get sweaty. Louis's mum looked more surprised than Louis did to see Harry. "Oh! Harry." She went to offer a hand, but it was covered in bread crumbs. She dusted it off on her shirt and Harry gave her his most dazzling smile, "Hello Johanna.". "Nice to see you Harry." She replied. 

Harry saw where Louis got his good looks from. She had a soft beauty about her that was similar to Louis, but hadn't the effect on him that Louis' did. "i just thought i'd ask if i can steal your son away for a little while?" Louis's mum looked toward her son who looked utterly confused, "Well i don't see why you couldn't. Just look after him and don't have him home to late" She smiled fondly, and then Harry replied "You don't have to worry, i will always look after Louis" Harry smiled and looked over at Louis who was blushing trying to hide his smile.

"Where are you taking me? And how do you know my mum?" Louis asked. "Just somewhere quiet where we can talk" Harry answered, ignoring the second question entirely.

He started up his car and drove out of their street. Harry stopped not too far away at a small park that didn't seem like it was used that much. The two got out and went to the swing set. "I just wanted a place to be alone with you, without our mums pr friends so we can sort some things out" Harry looked toward louis who looked neither sad or happy. "Ok." Louis said looking at the ground. Louis was scared, he didn't know what would happen. But he knew he didn't want to lose Harry.

"Harry? Why didn't you smile at me at lunch today? I was excited to see you and especially after Friday, and you didn't seem to feel the way i did?" Louis asked, and when he looked up and showed Harry the hurt look on his face, Harry's heart broke a little. "Louis, I know you were with Zayn all weekend. I was jealous. And especially after the talk we had on Friday, you were with another alpha all weekend. It felt awful. I came knocking on your door and your mum told me you were out with Zayn. She saw my face and took me inside. We talked. Thats how i know your mum." Harry saw the expression on Louis face change as he realised. "Oh Harry." Louis whined, imagining how terrible he would feel if the situation had been reversed. "It's ok louis. I've also talked with Zayn. we've sorted it out." Harry smiled softly. "Well haven't you been a busy beaver." Louis smirked as Harry chuckled.

"Harry. What are we?" Louis built up enough courage to ask. "Well, i'm not quite sure. I know what I want us to be." He blushed. 'God he's beautiful' Louis thought to himself. "Well I wanna be with you. I want you to take care of me and protect me." Louis said softly. "And it would make me so happy if I could do that for you." Harry replied. "As much as I want to dive in head first, I want to get to know you better first." Harry looked towards louis who was nodding along to what he was saying. He took that as a good sign. "So. Here is what i've gathered, correct me if i'm wrong. We are going to be friends first. But we don't want to date anyone else, and we admit that we both have feeling for each other." Louis questioned Harry. "Sounds about right." Harry said to louis who nodded. Louis wasn't over the moon about just being friends for now, but he knew it was probably the right thing to do. He knew how harry felt, and that enough for him for now.
