"Today is Haldi and these boys are now out since last night. Where are they Nayan? Tell me beta" asked Suhasini worried about her grandsons.

"No Dadi..they didn't told me anything. Wait Dadi,I will call them and ask their whereabouts" replied Nayan assuring her Dadi.

She dialled up Aarav's number and started her anguish "Where are you Bhai!?. Today is your Haldi.We are waiting for you and Bhabhi is also waiting for you".

"Ma'am the person whom you are calling has met with an accident today. We have shifted him and his brother to Sanjeevani Hospital. Please do come soon for the formalities" A person replied using Aarav's phone.

Nayan's phone dropped from her hands in dismay. She was shocked to hear that.

"What happened Minnie!?. Will you please say something beta?" asked Suhasini almost baffled.

"Aarav bhaiya and Kairav Bhaiya met with an accident today.. they're in Sanjeevani Hospital" Nayan fumbled.

Nayan and Suhasini rushed to Sanjeevani Hospital. They enquired doctor about Aarav and Kairav.

Nayan enter the hospital and went right to the front desk and asked the lady who was working in the front desk, " Excuse me my brothers are they here, what room are they admitted."

The lady was confused and shocked seeing Nayan's anguish she said,
" Ma'am you are hurt you need a doctor."

Nayan screamed, " WHERE ARE MY BROTHERS!!." giving her a killer look. The lady along with others were very shocked.

The lady, asked "Ma'am who are your brothers? what is his name?."

Nayan got even more mad and grabbed the folder in the desk and threw it across the room and said,
" you fool!!!!!! you don't who I am talking about, how the hell do you not now my brothers.. Aarav and Kairav Kapoor and now tell me where they are?,where are my brothers?."

The lady who was looking at the list said, " Calm down Ma'am let me see where she is till then please be patient."

Suhana grabbed her hair and look at that woman and said, " calm down how can I calm down when my husband is in so much pain, I had heard that crash with my own ears then how can I be calm." he screamed and at that moment Nayan and Aarti came in and grabbed Suhana.

Nayan said , " Bhabhi calm down please." and looked at the lady, " Can you tell us where Aarav and Kairav Kapoor are please, we are their relatives."

The lady started to search for it but it was taking her few minutes which was not doing down well with Suwarna, she was pacing back and forth.

Suhana yelled, "what's taking so long, his name is Aarav for god sake, Aarav Kapoor." she spelled it out for them.

Suhasini spoke with concerned face "Suhanaa look sh..shh...everything is going to be ok, let her do her work."

Suhana screamed, " NO! i want to where Aarav is and NOW." She screamed at the top of her lungs while others were watching all this drama.

Suhana kept on going and going while the nurses, doctor, Suhasini,Aarti kept telling her to calm down but there was no use and finally Nayan had to take matters into her own hand.

She slapped Nayan across her face to bring her back from the shock mood.

Nayan stood there holding her face and while tears started to fall from her eyes.

She put her hands through her hair to control her frustration,while Kartik tried to calm himself  down.

Suhasini looked up at Yashpal aka Nanu and said, "They... they need me Yashpal ji, please take to me Àarav and Kairav, please." she begged  Yashpal.

Naira felt like crying seeing Nayan in this state but she couldn't.

Yashpal grabbed Suhasini and pulled her for a tight hug and made her feel assure that nothing is going to happen to their grandsons.

She signs in the formalities for Aarav and Kairav. She peeped into the OT and couldn’t see her brothers in such a bad condition.

Nayan's beautiful eyes were bashed with tears falling every single second passing while waiting outside the OT.

"Bhaiya!" her worried voice called out to him, it held the fear of something happening to her brother.

His body was paralysed in an instant, his eyes had given into the soaring pain, a gush of liquid warmed one side of his face with hia blood, while his hand had been locked under something heavy. He attempted force his senses to give some kind of acknowledgement to Nayan that he was still in there somewhere, but his view had become restricted, and it seemed like Nayan was consistently shouting something, but her voice failed to reach his ears. His eyelids felt like heavy shutters, blocking out everything with each time they opened and closed.

"Bhaiya!" Nayan shouted over and over again, but nothing, he was as still as a dead corpse. Within those few minutes everything was over, he lay there on the bed limp and unresponsive to her every cry. She shook him, she tapped his cheeks, he wiped the blood from her face with his sleeve in vain, as if none of it would have occurred from his doing so.

When he didn't respond, her first reaction was of sudden shock, her mind had abandoned all forms of practicality, not knowing how to respond to the situation. Her mind filled with rage, and she watched him in despair, her fear grew wild of losing connection with Aarav, "wake up Bhai, I beg you wake up!"

He didn't reply, it was like he was drifting away into a totally different world far from where he was, where he couldn't hear a single word she was shouting to him. He attempted to look to her a few times, but was drawn back every time he did so. After that he never moved, he was out, just like that. His blood filled face lay there unconscious and oblivious to everything else that went on around him.

Her view came back for a split second, as she tried look to see where she was, but this time everything had become a blur, nothing was clear, the sounds from all directions were muffled and then silenced in turn, until all before her eyes turned into nothing, and darkness spread its course in her direction.

"Please stay with me bhai, it's just a little longer" she pacified to his almost lifeless body. In her mind she was begging on her knees for their life, watching her every moment like this was killing her a hundred times with each passing second.

"Doctor! Doctor! Please my brothers need help'" she charged at the the first uniformed person she'd come across.

A group of professionals had overtaken the scene and immediately rushed both Aarav and Kairav into the operation theatre. Suhana was asked to confirm her status as Aarav's wife, and carry out a few formalities before they could proceed.
