With Salem defeated... Ruby and I just stayed. Ozpin's soul was relieved of the burden to share souls, so his soul separated from mine and I was freed. But still, I miss talking to him for advice and everything. Ruby and I, well... as full huntsman and huntress, we traveled from kingdom to kingdom. As I heard, everyone was gathering at Beacon Academy for a celebration.

"Oscar, are you ready?" Ruby asks. Her squeaky voice was still there, just faintly. She became more mature, but still childish in ways. I didn't mind. She kept cutting her hair to shoulder length and dyed certain parts of her hair red.

I nod, "Of course, Ruby. Why wouldn't I?" I looked around for my wedding ring. We married 3 years ago and everything... everything was perfect.

"It's been what? 3 years since we last saw them?" She asks as she takes my hand. "We'll be fine, Oscar. It's not like we didn't see them for a decade."

"I know, it's just... weird to see them again. After everything... we went our separate ways."

"I understand, Oscar. Anyways, let's leave before we waste more time just being here."

We arrived at Beacon Academy. The place was decorated with colorful lights and banners. It wasn't too hard to find everyone as they were hanging around the front entrance. They were all dressed fancy. Yang was wearing a short yellow dress but long sleeves, along with her hair put in a ponytail. Weiss was wearing a white dress with blue lace and shades. Her hair was still up in her usual ponytail, Blake was wearing a long black dress and purple lace. Nora was covered in pink, her medium length dress was decorated with different shades of pink hearts and Ren was wearing a green buttoned shirt and black pants. Jaune was wearing dark blue pants and a black jacket over a white shirt, Sun wasn't that fancy in his style. Wore his usual jeans and his shirt was unbuttoned.

"Hey guys!" I say as we came closer to them. "Long time since we saw each other."

Yang gasps as she saw us. "Oh my gosh! Ruby! Ha ha! It's been so long!"

"Gah! Y-Yang!" Ruby says as she was being smothered by her older sister's hugs.

"Jeez, you're so cute! Especially in that cute dress!"

I looked at Ruby's dress, I bought that for her on her birthday. That long red dress with streaks of different shades of red ran down. A black belt went around her waist and had a fabric rose. "Thanks Yang, Oscar bought it for me."

"Aww... how sweet..."

"Anyways, let's just celebrate about being here once again." I say.

10 years... we spent together. After Salem's defeat, we were deemed full huntsmen and huntresses. But we decided to spend our time to rebuild Beacon for other people who were wanting to train to fight monsters. How much we changed over these years... I couldn't believe it... I miss everything back then. A common goal to reach and always training to survive another day. Now, we're fully trained and our enemy defeated. We're just traveling to take out the reminding Grimm... not that I hate it, but it's weird... I guess... this is our story... the story of the defeat of Salem and us becoming heroes all over the kingdoms. And I love every part of it.

"Oscar! Can you please take care of Summer?! Please!" Ruby yells as I started to pour myself a cup of coffee.

"I will!" I shout back. I went over to Summer's room and see her in her crib, not moving. As I walked closer to her, I see her calm face. Her black hair was shiny in the sunlight and she was sleeping...  "Hey Summer..." I whisper to her. "Daddy's here to see you..."
