"Bella.. Bella!" I opened my eyes and sat up straight immediately. I had a nightmare and it was a bad one. I immediately got out from the bed and walked towards the bathroom. I tried to calm myself and looked at the mirror.

"Are you okay?" Alan asked.

"I'm fine." I said as I wiped my sweat that's coming from my forehead. Alan looked at me a little bit worried.

"I'm good.. what's the time?" I asked and he looked at his watch.

"3 in the morning." He said and I sighed.

"Can you leave me alone please? I want to take a warm bath." I said and Alan nodded. He left me alone in the bathroom and I started to fill the bathtub with water. I ran my hands through my hair and closed my eyes.

"I don't think I can do this anymore." I whispered to myself and took off all my clothes. I got into the bathtub and started to calm myself.

I looked at both of my hands and sighed. I can't believe that I agree to this in the first place. Now, what's the diference between me and them? Killing each other basically.

I tried not to think about it and I decided to finish my warm bath after being in there for around 30 minutes. I got out from the bathroom and saw Alan looking at his phone.

"A lot of people investigating about the 3 people that just suddenly.. die." Alan stated and he looked up to me.

"And then.. what did they find?" I really want to know how much those PIs find. I mean our plans are more smoother than what other people think. We planned this for 13 years and we're not stupid enough to left any DNAs or evidences on the crime scene. It's just stupid!

"They find nothing." That's what I'm talking about.

"I mean.. they could have found something. How about CCTV footage? I mean I'm sure we can find something from there." I said as I sat on the edge of the bed looking at him busy with his phone.

"No, that's why I assigned security teams for all of Reyes Oil's shareholders. I mean I want them to be safe and still trust our company." He said and I wanted to laugh so bad.

"Did you assign a security team for me?" I asked and he looked up to me.

"Yeah and I hope you don't mind."

"I have my own though so I don't think you need to worry about that." I smiled and he got up to sit closer to me.

"I don't want something bad happen to you so I will still assign my team for you." I want to kill him right here right now.

"Thank you." I smiled and kissed his cheek.

"Are you okay?" He asked and I nodded.

"I think I'm a little bit paranoid because the situation that's happening now." I said and he held my hand.

"Don't worry.. we will find the killer and throw him to jail." The killer is sitting in front of you, Alan Reyes.

"I believe you." I said as I caressed his cheek.

"How about we talk about us?" He asked as he raised his eyebrows.

"What are you trying to say?" I narrowed my eyes not liking where this topic will lead me.

"I like you and I felt this weird.. attachment with you. Can we.. try this relationship?" He asked as he held both of my hands tightly.

"Alan.. I-"

"I promise I won't be that clingy, jealous and possessive boyfriend. We both are adults right?" Alan is 4 years older than me and I'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing right now. Asking for a relationship is quite a big deal and I understand.

To be honest, I felt the same way. I felt this weird attachment to him but I'm afraid that it will grow something more than just having fun in bed. He's on the list of my revenge list and I don't want to have hesitation when I want to kill someone.

"I.. I don't know."

"How about I give you time to think about it?" He asked and I bit my lips.

"I don't know. I never interested in relationships and you know that I never have myself attach to one man before."

"I promise I will make everything special." He said and I looked right into his eyes. I felt something's wrong with his actions right now.

"We clearly always go back to each other. You tried to push me a few times but here you are back again in my arms and I usually never sleep with the same woman again and again. I never even beg.." He said.

"I don't think it's a good idea, Alan. Besides.. we're business partners and I don't like havin-"

"Why don't you give me a chance? I'll prove it to you." He said as he pulled me onto his lap. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I caressed his cheek.

"Are you sure about this?"

"Pretty much." He smiled.

"I will give you the answer next time we see each other." I said and I kissed his cheek.

"I'll be waiting.. now let's go back to sleep. I bet you're tired already." He said and I nodded. I laid on the bed and he put the blanket on me. I closed my eyes and when I almost falling into deep sleep.

"You are something, Bella. I can't get my hands on it yet but.. you are something." Let's play games then, Alan.

I felt his hand caressing my cheek and kissed the top of jy head. I heard him calling someone and I couldn't fall asleep immediately. He walked away and I tried my best to listen to what he's saying.

"I want you to keep your eyes on Bella, she will go to Dubai soon." He said and I smirked knowing my perfect game for him.
